The recipes are made to meet a wide variety of tastes so they aren't going to fit your tastes 100%. We only bought 6 meals, some of them needed to be spiced up a bit, but well worth the money and way cheaper than eating out all the time. You can use as much of the seasonings as you like when you make the meal, the recipe is just a guideline. We went to the one on S Rainbow and everyone was super nice. Not something to do all the time (for us) but I definitely don't regret going.

PROS: Cheap, fexible, & tasty
CONS: Not enough choices for non beef eaters.

First I got a certificate on ebay to try this Dream Dinners out. I was really excited to go. When I got to the facility the owner was very rude to me because I had this certificate. I didn't feel like was told what to do but just thrown out there and I was super confused. All these people were making the meals in a very small area and I was un-sure of the procedure.

I love the idea of it however when I made the meals for my family they weren't impressed. My husband said not to do that again. I'm a good cook but don't have the time everynight. Its a wonderful concept for some people just not my family.

I love all the choices. It would be a fun thing to do with friends. In fact I did at Make a Meal and I can tell you the service was 800 times better. I would go there again but not dream dinners.

PROS: lots of choices, fun easy, good for busy moms
CONS: poor service, cramped dreary facilty, not enough instruction, food is ok

I absolutely am addicted to Dream Dinners. They have saved me so much money-grocery shopping, gave me more time with my daughter, and gives me freedom to try new menus. It's a wonderful idea-they do all the grocery shopping, chopping, cleaning-I get to make my meals, take them home, put them in the freezer, and take it out to the oven. I recommend reading all the Oprah articles on this extraordinary place!

Dream Dinners is simple and ingenius: prepare a month's worth of food in a couple of hours, with no hassle and no mess. The recipes are done for you, the food is at your fingertips, you just have to go to each station and assemble the meals you want to eat.

A family of two or three can easily last 4-5 weeks on 12 meals at about $200. The per dinner price can't be beat, but the best part is you're preparing all these meals in someone else's kitchen...and they do the cleaning up.

It's an unusual concept and I strongly suggest you visit to figure out what it's all about. I imagine it's been placed under such a strange category because it's not a restaurant or a catering business. It's just an easy way to get through what can be a tedious chore every night. Bon Apetit.

PROS: Get a months worth of food prepared in a couple of hours & meet nice people
CONS: Food is great, monthly menus are great, but could be less fattening
