New ownership bought the place and remodeled the entire joint. The jazz has gone away, now they have some Hawaiian band on Friday nights. Advertise that they have Murphy's Irish Red but never do. Had Labatt, but I think that they took that away too. It's now a Buffalo Bar, as the two owners are from Buffalo suburbs. One is from Tonawanda, I'm not sure about the other. All-in-all, it's a decent place as per all of the reviews on the Internet pre 2009, this place isn't the swinging jazz joint that your granpa raved about. It's a blue-collar carbon copy of most bars in this city. I guess you can play the Wii there too, but I'm not looking to play video games at a bar.

Pros: 5 buckets of domestics (7 oz beers). Free Popcorn

Cons: It's not like stepping into the past anymore. New Ownership

We went to the Friday night jazz jam after a day of hiking at Zion. We wanted to relax and experience a bit of Las Vegas off the strip. While the cab ride was long (fast but pricey), the experience was a highlight of our trip. The regulars were extremely friendly. The music was great. Plus the drink prices were a welcome site in Vegas. I would highly recommend the trip if you need a break from the usual Vegas itineraries.

Pros: Music, Crowd, Drink Prices

Cons: Long Cab Ride
