Mgm Grand Las Vegas

I always stay at MGM Hotel and most of the stays are pretty pleasant. They have promotions once in a while which include small amount extra to be upgraded to a suit and/or dining credit and shopping credit. One thing though is to request them to assign you to the newer room, I was assigned to the older hotel room once and it as bad! The carpet is dirty and the toilet has a lot of stains! So make sure that you tell them what you want!

The MGM Grand Hotel is a great place to stay or visit. It is centrally located to many of the more popular casinos. Inside you can see shows, visit bars, and gamble of course. They offer a lion habitat where you can walk through a tunnel underneath their floor and look up. The floor of the habitat is made out of glass so that you have a better view of the lions.

This place is so big it's almost indescribable. Located across from New York, New York hotel on the Las Vegas strip, a great spot to hang your hat when/if you end the evening. Rooms are very nice - spacious - on the darker side when it comes to decor, but nicely put together. Large casino. Tons of restaurants and a lion habitat in the center of the casino!

I've stayed at many properties in Vegas, but I think the MGM is just too big. After a day of walking I don't want to have to find the right elevator bank, then walk down an endless hallway to my room. The room was very nice but I just found the property to be too big.

The MGM Grand is a cool hotel to stay at. The rooms are very nice and their are plenty of things to do in the hotel. We ate at the MGM buffet for Thanksgiving and it was EXCELLENT. Pricey, but WELL WORTH IT. Their are also plenty of other places in the hotel to eat; but for Thanksgiving you gotta check out a buffet. Also, check out the lions! It was so neat being able to get such a great look at them.

The MGM Grand is situated in a really great location on the strip. It's connected to the New York New York, and also the Excaliber, so walking from one hotel to the other for shopping, gambling, sightseeing, and dining is a breeze! It's also near all of the action on the strip in Vegas and has plenty of in house accomodations for those who just want to stay close. The pool is really good- with a lazy river and tons of palm trees and pools to lounge around in.

Great hotel and casino to crash at when visiting Las Vegas...right on the strip! Lots happening there, but I'll warn you, it's huge! We never even found the pool while we were visiting. So many restaurants, a great casino, special events and guests (including the occasional boxing match), and the rooms are very nicely sized - spacious and affordable. Across the street from New York, New York on the strip.

The MGM grand is a great place to take the family. The adults can frequent the casinos while the kids can do a variety of things. The MGM grand has a clear glass enclosure in which real lions are grazing and stirring. In addition, there is an arcade, a star walk with several shops and a mini theme park in the back. There is a gym, pool as well as other amenities that are standard at any great hotel. The buffet is excellent. The MGM grand is also only a few minutes walk away from the M&M store and Game Works, more places that provide children endless hours of fun. For those with kids above 18 but below 21, there is also Studio 54, a club inside the MGM Grand.

The MGM Grand hotel with its distinct colors of emerald green and its trifecta building design is an excellent hotel to stay if you plan to visit Las Vegas.

The lobby is very beautiful and the hotel is directly connected to the monorail that goes throughout the Las Vegas strip. The rooms were very clean.

There is a large inside food court and shopping center. Many performs frequent the MGM arena. Also, there are two very cool swimming pools.

The hotel, located on the Strip, should be one of your recommendations.

The MGM is located in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. It is just like the movies here. I love walking through here because there is so much to see. YOu can see live lions through a glass cage 24 hours a day. Try to stop by when the trainers are feeding the lions. It is a free spectacle and very cool to see. This is the only hotel on the strip that I saw someone win a car at. Someone was playing the slots and won a dodge viper in front of me. This proves that the slots in this hotel DO work. I was a believer after that.
Rainforest Cafe is also located in the casino. It is like dining in the middle of the rainforest. It has delicious food and the atmosphere is just so cool!

Now I am no vegas novice. I've been there many times and I know that casinos are designed to keep the patron in. That being said, I was completely unimpressed with their layout. The hotel itself was confusing. To get to the pool area always seemed to be an issue, as did getting to any of the restaurants and hotel elevators. The room were typical vegas hotel rooms, nothing too special. There are much better places to stay in Vegas. Though, on the other hand, I suppose there are much worse as well.

We stayed at the MGM during the 4th of July Weekend and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in a hotel with everything you could ever want. The casino is great (especially the Poker room), there is a wide array of food choices and the rooms are very good. We stayed in the West wing, which features a TV built into the mirror in the bathroom. The only negatives are the bed pillows (very thin) and the food carts left in the hallways for many hours. I would stay here again, though, due to the location and amenities.

Of all the hotels that I have stayed in in Las Vegas, this is my favorite hotel. The hotel is huge. When I got kicked out of the Flamingo hotel because they wouldn't honor my reservation I got shuttled to the MGM hotel. What a great break for me. I got a beautiful suite and a great hotel to stay at. I loved it land would go back in a minute. This is my absolute favorite of all of the hotels.

The MGM grand is the most fabuloous hotel in Vegas. Not only did I win a lot of money there, but I had a great time just walking around in the casino. Whernever you are planning on going they will have great promotional deals to cash in on. They have accomedation to fit anyones taste. They have spa suites, terrace suites, glamour suites, permier suites....etc. They constantly have new entertainment going on. Wether its just a band up on the stage or The Eagles, I'm sure you'll find something you will want to see. I saw Snoop Dogg when I went because he was there for the opening of Starskey and Hutch. The absolute best part though are the real lions. They are always sleeping, but amazing to see.

This is one of my favorite casinos. They have everything there! From lions, gaming, various stores, clubs, shows, etc. Fat Tuesdays is a very delicious drink bar. Good to go on New Years. Surprisingly not that expensive.

This place definitly is a thing of luxury. I enjoyed my stay here very much. There is even lots to see in the hotel itself, which is really nice. The lions everywhere really make it a uniform environment which is really cool. When I waas there there were reall lion cubs there, they were SOOOO cute! There are lots of restaurants and little places to eat which is convinient. I also like the fact that all these famouse people come here to perform.

The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino is probably one of the biggest hotels in the world. It's not hard to miss as it's near the beginning of the Las Vegas strip when coming from the airport.

Huge doesn't even come close to the sheer magnitude displayed by this structure. This, of course, can be very intimidating as it stretches out for blocks. The casino is always ever present and noticeable as you first walk in. Originally, when I fisrt visited the place, it had a huge Wizard of Oz theme. Sadly, that was all changed when I visited the place again. The gambling strectches out into three huge rooms with no end in sight.

Actually there is an end at sight with an amusement park and huge pool at the back of the hotel. But just to walk over there takes some time and can knock the wind out of you. Luckily they keep pumping oxygen into the place.

Many fancy restaurants and lots of food bars are spread all around the hotel. The check-in counter is not hard to miss with room prices ranging from affordable to incomprehensible. A small touch is a black & white portrait of a famous celebrity that hangs in each room.

However, because of it's sheer size, the MGM feels very impersonal. One can easily feel lost in this huge structure which doesn't help to the already overwhelming feeling. You never have to leave the hotel because everything is there, but even just trying to find an exit is a daunting task. It's not a bad hotel but big doesn't necessarily translate into better.

This is one of the nicest on the strip. It is pricey but they have so much to offer. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. You have to go and see the lion habitat. So beautiful and they often can be seen at play. It is family friendly and many restuarants to chose from. Also at a good location on the strip which makes it easy to walk to others.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel when we got married, and were very happy with it. The rooms are very clean, the price is very good, and upgrades are inexpensive, too. The restaurants are outstanding.

Although the rooms are nice, it will take you 20 minutes to get to your room once you enter the outside doors. Worse for leaving, since the wait for elevators is 15 minutes (or worse in morning since folks are checking out). Nice rooms and casino, but I will not go back.

I had a great time at this Hotel and Casino on my visit enjoyed verything about it had a great time on the slots the shops where a friendly inviornment.

This is a cool hotel for the whole family. This is the most popular place to see an extraordinary live concert! My stay here was pleasant, inexpensive, and enjoyable!

You can find everything from boxing events to a lion habitat at the MGM. Everyone has something to do at this resort. There are also many good choices for dining that will surely satisfy everyones taste buds!

MGM adds new meaning to the words "Over Kill" MGM could never really decide what they wanted to be so they tried to be all things to all people and have failed miserably

The MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip has alot of entertainment here. Many gambling machines and tables for those over 21 years of age. A good buffet, lots of performers come here to perform, like for instance U2 is coming soon. A comedian plays here, Carrot Top. A Magician, David Copperfield. Even club are here, like the famous Studio 54.

MGM have like the hottest night club called Studio 54. It's really nice, they have live dancers and played great music. They have a great spa that can help you feel better and the pool are nice too. The best thing about this place is that they have real life lions. They also have their own grand arena for live boxing. It's a great place. Plus, they have a theme park of children of all ages.

from afar, the mgm grand looks spectacular. it is green with gold letters, and looks like a tribute to the oakland a's. inside is just as beautiful. they have a lion habitat where people can watch lions in an enclosed area, and many shows going on. i have not had the pleasure of a stay in the mgm grand yet but i did have the chance to watch a cirque du soleil play called ka. it was very good i really enjoyed myself and encourage you to watch it

The MGM Grand is the largest hotel in the world. Why stay anywhere else? They have spacious rooms, most of which are newly renovated. The buffet is killer, the casino is enormous and there is great entertainment at the hotel, every night. It is within walking distance of a most other major hotels and the room rate is still pretty affordable compared to most other high end vegas hotels. MGM Hotel and Casino is GRAND.

My husband and I stayed at MGM Grand May 28-June 4, and we much enjoyed our visit. We checked in at the airport without problem and found all of the staff we encountered from then on to be friendly and accomodating. We could have waited until the regular check-in time of 3 p.m. for a room with a view but opted to check in on arrival at 11 a.m. Although our room overlooked the roof of the casino (the lights of which gave our room a cool, other-worldly, neon green glow at night), we also had a decent view of Excalibur, the Statue of Liberty, and the Sphinx head, as well as the distant mountains. The room was huge, clean, and quiet. We left the "privacy please" sign on the door every day, and the housekeeping staff not only honored it, but left us both a note and voicemail message periodically making sure they did not skip us in error. I found the main areas to be very clean as well. I am asthmatic and had no problem with smoke - not at MGM or any other casino, except for when places were crowded at night. I found the pool complex to be above average, particularly the lazy river. The Grand Spa was terrific as well. I got the aromatherapy package and enjoyed every minute of it. We ate at a wide range of eating establishments from casual to fancy during our stay and found all to be good. I would particularly recommend the weekend champagne brunch at the Grand Buffet. The selection was above-par. I enjoyed the movie-star theme, although my husband liked the themes at other casinos better. He also would recommend gambling elsewhere - he found the limits at MGM to be too high. We both enjoyed the lion habitat. We happened upon playful cats each time we passed. We also splurged on the photo with a cub. If you like big cats as I do, don't miss out on that. Finally, I would disagree that the place is too big. The elevators are centrally-located, so it's easy to get everywhere from your room. I found the monorail station at MGM to be quite convenient and used it a lot to get ar

The MGM is a clean, comfortable hotel that is not as plush as the venetian or the Bellagio. But it IS very practical, VERY comfortable (I stayed in one of their suits), showers are nice, hot, strong, their beds are warm, their AC and heater units are powerful, their room service is prompt, their pools are fun and varied, so are their restaurants.Overall, I was not so impressed with things, but very well taken care of none-the-less. I recommend it.

We love this place! It's family-friendly (as casinos go), and there are a lot of good places to eat and neat things to see. It doesn't have that overly crowded feel. The lion exhibit is breathtaking -- you can actually stand right beneath them, because of the way their Plexiglas cage is set up, and you can have your picture taken with a real lion cub. You can eat, gamble, or see shows there.
