Reviews for Barnes & Noble Booksellers

Ratings_icons WARNING! This store does NOT have a video section!

Taylor C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,824

Barnes and Noble is a terrific chain of stores not only because of their superb collection of books of all kinds, but because their movie/music selection is also solid.

So why does this store NOT HAVE A VIDEO SECTION!?

I went all the way out to this store to take advantage of a Criterion Collection sale the cain was having. Boy, was I in shock to discover they didn't even have a video section at this store.

So drive the extra few miles to the Summerlin store instead.

I have shopped at this Barnes & Noble many times. Everytime I go in there, I end up coming out with more than I planned. They always have great gifts, for the avid readers and the not so avid readers. The staff is very nice and helpful, if you need help finding something, they have no problem showing you!

From the time I go in the door until I leave with my purchases. I am treated very nicely. The staff knows the location ( s ) of what I am looking for , if they do not have the item they will order it for you, prices are good. Compared to other stores they are will adversed with the new editions and inventory. Good choice ( s ).

PROS: Good choice of books

Barnes and Nobles is the best place to shop for books and even read them. And even if your in the mood for some Starbucks there a little cafe there that serves Starbuck Drinks it is a very organized and clean enviorment for the whole family.

PROS: Everything
CONS: Nothing Perfect

i entered the store it was very easy to find the book i was looking for, it had been reccommended by a friend . I was standing in line waiting to be checked out there was one person ahead of me the woman from behind the counter kept peering over the customer's shoulder looking at my boyfriend and i. He was looking at some postcards that where next to the register but she kept on looking at us. When we finally got to the register she was very abrupt and rude, how could you go from being nice to one customer and rude to another. Well i guest not to many mexicans must come to that store, i felt discrimanated against and will never go to that store again.

PROS:
CONS: What century are we in? I thought we are all equal

I've been going to this book store for 6 yrs and I love it. Although I'm further away from it I still manage to find myself there on the weekends. I like the environment, the staff are friendly, I can find what I want especially when they have a great sale. I love having Starbucks inside it and their staff are great as well. You can find me reading from magazines, History, Astrology, Cookbooks, to comics. Now that I have kids, you'll find me in the children section which is nice and neat!

PROS: comfortable and starbucks is just a table away.
CONS: The restroom is not very well maintained. No seat covers!

While I prefer Borders, if I can't find something there I go here. The staff is very helpful when you can find them, but the layout is a bit confusing. I spent forty five minutes looking for a book before being able to get help. If the layout were changed to be a little more streamlined I would rate this place higher.

If you're a reader, you've gotta love Barnes & Noble. My favorite thing about this place is its huge selection of titles and genres. My only complaint is that they don't carry a wide enough variety of journaling and scrapbooking supplies. The atmosphere is very calm, quiet, and "reader-friendly"; if you want to plop down in the middle of an aisle or sit in a chair with a book, nobody minds.

Ratings_icons Walk in the door help

Anonymous

I like that as soon as you walk in the door there is someone there to greet you and ask if you need help finding something. I did notice though the last two times I went in there for a certain book, it was sold out. Popular, yes. Should get more in stock for popular books though. Love this store though.
