750.00 later the car runs worst than ever. they say 925.00 more to fix the problem. well it was fixed independently for 200.00. dont trust these rips.
what really happend was the problem was put in front of kids to fix nothing for 750.00 then to get charged by the master tech to find out then that they want 925.00 more to finally fix the problem. who runs this place..

After a very bad experience, I finally got the managers attention and I must say he went out of his way to take care of me. I don't know yet if I would actually return to his shop, but there is a much better chance today than there was yesterday.

DON'T go here! I supposedly had some work done on my car, only to find out two months later from a mechanic friend that these issues were never repaired or fixed in the first place. I went back to settle this discrepency with the management. The employee at the back automotive desk was rude and unprofessional and acted as if I was a huge inconvienence of his time. I stayed very polite and respectful of him, but I will never trust this place again. I know it is easy to say, "Well, that is just one person's experience," but, I never would have had to have gone back a second time if the repairs were done correctly in the first place. DON'T trust these mechanics!!!! They are a complete rip-off.

I have taken my car to the Sunset location several times and have had good service. I continue to bring my car to this store because of the service I received.

I experienced four hour oil change scheduled by appointment at the dealership early Saturday mornings. That was norm there and they invariably would market other services to you under the guise that it was needed at prices grossly overstated. It insulted my intelligence and angered me but, I never acted disrespectful, loud or otherwise out of control. I just took my business elsewhere -- Pep Boys.

It never ceases to amaze me how nasty and rude people become during the holiday season. I know, I've worked retail during many.

We had tried to return parts to a trailer that we did not need. In the preceeding days we had spent over a few hundred dollars on parts for a trailer we had just purchased. We had unfortunately forgotten one of the two reciepts at home. The lady at the counter was extremely rude, unnecessarily confrontational, and loud. I will never ever shop at another pepboys for the rest of my life.

I have many exp. with pep boys in general, do not take your car there or you will be over charged, and pay for sloopy work! Your better off finding a private guy and paying double (just kidding)! By the way if your looking for the manager, he or she is not around, and if they are, they always talk there way out of the story. Pep boys traditionally has always been OVERPRICED!

PROS: Car auto parts readily available...
CONS: Poor service / overcharged work!

i have taken my car a couple times thinking it wont be like last but every time iam wrong the service is horrable, they give you a time frame that ends up being 3times longer then it should be. they even for got about my car once. the managers dont make it any more pleasent.

I came to this place a few times to get my car fixed. I like this store because they offer some kind of a credit card if you're qualified. So, you don't need to pay your bill all in one time, but you can pay it montly. It helps on my financial.

Unfortunately in toay auto repait industry, it is hard to find honest repair men that are not trying to add ales to their service. I understand that these repair men are compensated for their sales.

I think their price is a bit too high on the service and the retail products they sell. I went there too buy stuffs, but the price was a way high than wallmart. Since then, I never wanna come back if I could get something the same for a cheaper price. The wait to get your car fixed was quite long too. I'm not sure if they take appoinment...

This is a very large auto store on Sunset Rd just East of Pecos. They have a very large selection and the prices are reasonable. You can have auto work done here but I was told they are not that great in that particular department. But a lot of people use them and sometimes you must wait to get your car fixed. There are usually other people ahead of you. But I'm not complaining too loudly, no one is perfect and they are a busy store. I like to buy stuff there for oil changes and brake pads, etc.
