No attitudes at this place. They are always helpful and friendly. They do transfers for $25 (but state of Nevada also charges another $25 for NICs). Prices seem to be the best in the valley.

Great local business ! Rance was friendly and introduced himself. Joe was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a nice revolver at a fair price. I will buy there again... Thanks Guys !

Great neighborhood store. The owner worked, lived and been a business owner in the Las Vegas area for decades. Provides good honest information and great products.

Was told that there was a transfer fee only. When I got there, a "confirmation" fee showed up - a matter of a 60 second phone call or another $25.00. I should have been told beforehand.
It's a shame, really. I've always enjoyed my relationship with them and now that I'll be investing in firearms, they lost out on steady income that will go to someone else.

My father has always been into guns, and that love of guns passed onto me as well. We initially went to this store just to check it out, being shooters, but what we didn't know is that this would quickly become our favorite gun store in the entire Vegas Valley.
By far the thing I hate worst about going into a gun store is the staff. NOT A PROBLEM HERE. Not only do I not mind the staff at this store, they are THE BEST STAFF I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN A GUN STORE. EVER. These people know how to treat you right. You're always greeted when you enter, they don't fake their politeness, and they're definitely knowledgable about what they sell. The people at places like Center Mass and The Gun Store could really take a hint on how to run their businesses from people like this. The staff ranges from everyone to an elderly, retired cop right down to young guys in their early twenties working part time. Everyone is knowledgable and friendly.
In other stores, staff seem to have issues with you looking at merchandise. Once again, not a problem at Spurlock's. Not only do the staff have no problem with you looking at merchandise, they even ENCOURAGE you to do so.
It's tough to find a decent gun shop in the Vegas Valley. With all the horrible staff and weak selection that most stores have, Spurlock's came as a breath of fresh air.
My only complaint is the lack of a shooting range, but in a tightly-packed, old building like this, I guess they couldn't fit one, even if they wanted to.
If you're a shooter of any type and you live in the Vegas Valley, DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS STORE. It's my favorite, and after a few visits, it will be yours too. It gets my highest recommendation.
SIDE NOTE: THE PHONE NUMBER LISTED ABOVE IS WRONG! The correct phone number is 564-5668
