The commericials always looked good, so I decided to take my roommates out to lunch...

We got greeted, okay, cool. The server took about close to 10minutes to take our drink orders and she constantly used the word "Okie Dokie" to our table and the table next to us.
Drink orders came, another 10minutes later. My roommate order corona.lite...and she brought over corona extra...she replied "We actually dont have any Corona.Lite"

I ordered the blackend mahi sandwich...disgusting peice of crap!!! My roommate ordered the crab and something else in a bucket...it took him almost my entire meal to get all the meat out of the crab...

And they try to soften you up by asking if they can take a picture for their website...and if they brought we brought the picture in on the next visit, we'd get a free appetizer...uh, no thanks!

For the price they charge, its not worth it! Save yourself some money and go to LVAC right next door and get more bang for your buck!

Cons: EVERYTHING!

I'm amazed a place like this has survived as long as it has! I had the new "Bean Town Bake" Steampot and it was horrible! EVERYTHING was over cooked....even the corn! Forty buck's for two really small, mealy lobsters', rubbery oysters, soggy corn, and dry/tough shrimp... Terrible! Here's a Vegas tip-Go to Ellis Island, where the food is far superior and you can get three entries for less then what I paid for one!

Pros: Tables had napkins

Cons: Over cooked food, way over priced, lousy flavor!

I had Alaskan King crabs and they were the worst I have ever had. They were either very old if not decaying, or they had been cooked so many times the meat was like rubber that was breaking down into mush. I actually complained and they brought out more of the same. The shells were like rubber and soggy as well. Really bad and way too much money for something that tasted and had the texture of a old dish sponge.

I had never eaten at a Joe's Crab Shack before, so one night I decided to take the family out to eat some so-called good seafood. The only pro was that it was kid friendly, had a playground for them to play in and the servers danced to the Car Wash to entertain the children.
I will never go back to eat there and here's why: HORRIBLE service, (waited 10 minutes for a server to even ACKNOWLEDGE us), 7 minutes to get our drinks from the bar, 10 more minutes to get our appetizer, and our entree came out 5 minutes within getting our Calamari. It seemed the servers were more interested in dancing than serving us.
The broiled shrimp trio was good, but it DEFINATELY could have been better. A little bland tasting and the shrimp were kind of rubbery, like they had been overcooked. My husband had the King crab, which was good, but not enough crab for the price. My daughter had popcorn shrimp, and the portions could have been bigger in my opinion.
I would definately NOT recommend this restaurant to people who want to have a nice, quiet dinner, and the servers get on tables and dance and kids are constantly running around.

Pros: Playground for kids (but not in the winter time)

Cons: Everything else

The only things going for this place are its lively decor and kid friendly atmosphere. Quite honestly, I can't decide whether the food or service was worst--both failed miserably! Avoid the fried oysters (if that is what they really were) at all costs. Don't even consider the place if you or someone in your party is vegetarian. They won't find anything on the menu catering to their tastes. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences that I have had in Las Vegas.

after hearing the way our concierge praised this place, we had such high expectations. the place looks like a nice steak house with leather banquettes and white tablecloths. the service was very good, the waiter was attentive and friendly. the food, alas, was really disappointing. we ordered the blue crab claws, about 6 or 8 came with the plate, then we ordered the sides separately. the dishes came, and the claws were just that, and bland on top of eveything. the sides were HUGE plates, enough for the four of us to share. the best part of the meal was the lyonnaise potatoes and the wine. expensive, bland and completely uncreative. for a chain with such high praise, they definitely need to come up with something more creative.

We had such a great time here. My older son had his second birthday. The servers all came out and sang to him, and danced around the table. He was thrilled! It is a fun atmosphere, and I enjoy it everytime we go!

After all the great things I hear I finally try this terrible seafood place. The people are great and the food was ok but when I got home I was as sick as a DOG, and I wasn't the only one. Vegas we have a problem!

It is so hard to find great seafood in our lil' desert, and Joes does OK, certainly not great. Never ever order anything but the crab legs! I have tried their fish and lobster once and had to get the meal comped; terribly overcooked and cold. The white clam chowder is always reliable and delicious.

I was also very excited to see the new one open on West Flamingo, but was hugely disappointed in the quality and service. I guess I will keep on lookin' for a great place with great seafood.

PROS: Decent crab for the price
CONS: Overcooked and cold food happens all to often here

This is our fourth trip to this Joe's location and they never fail to NOT impress us. Food took almost an hour to get to us. When it did arrive, it was cool and extremely over-cooked. The Manager did comp my dinner, but not my wife's whose dinner was as bad or worse than mine. Go figure !!!!! Not recommended.

If you like to eat out and like to take your kids this is a good place to go. They have a play area for the kids, they do singing and dancing by your tables that the kids love. The food is quite good and the staff attentive.

We ate there with extended family and were dissappointed. Ther was only 5 in our party and it took 20 minutes to get our order taken. the place was not busy. We noticed our food sitting in the window for over 7 minutes before I grabbed the server and askes if they would check if ti was ours, indeed it was. They appologized and made our meals again extending our wait time even more. My father found a blue rubberband in his salad. This can happen when they hand clean lettuce or other produce, but the sink should have been checked.

When asking for a glass of water, think twice. Thwater tastes as thou it has been a metal container. Can't really describe it. The water has always tasted strang there. It is a running joke with us.

We do like Joes, just not this particular one.

PROS:
CONS: Weird water, poor service

When I first went to Vegas. My friend told me that he wanted to try a great seafood restaurant. I thought it must be good because I see them all over the place. Yet, I thought the menu would be predominately crab. I must say that they don't offer the selection that I thought of. I believe that chain seafood joints don't taste that good. So I encourage if you want seafood. Find a local favorite, that has been in its location for some time.
