We have been members for about a year. My nanny went in to have my daughter withdrawn from a Tues. and Wed. 10 year old class that only she and her friend were enrolled in. I was furious to learn that according to policy I was still going

I have been a member of my gym for years..since my children were "waddlers" and they're now 7 years old! They still love going. I don't understand all of the parents complaints about their babies being unsupervised on the floor. There are rules posted in the gym about children under 3 years old being accompanied by an adult. In my opinion.. if you have a 2 year old and you are going to let then run free anywhere without your supervision you clearly know nothing about parenthood or your own childs capabilities. My Gym is not a daycare.. they encourage you to try the different activities with your children and bond while your child develops skills..not to use their programs as your gossip hour...which unfortunately i have seen far too many parents do.

as for their pricing.. it is up there but not if you consider all of the things that you get with the tuition. with your class you also get free play and two extra classes every week!!

My daughter is 3 1/2 and has been attending this facility for about 3 months. Her motor skills have improved considerably! You do have to watch for your childs safety as there are many items that may be a bit out of your childs skill range if the classes are large, but our class is small and the staff do a great job keeping them engaged and happy.

I would recommend avoiding the place at all costs when they have open play. The wide range of ages of the kids makes it a dangerous place for toddlers. (really chaotic) I saw a barely walking baby get creamed by a large ball kicked by a kid who appeared to be about 10. The staff didn't even notice it happen.

The woman who manages this facility is not very nice however. I've yet to see her even say hi to anyone when she's there and she almost seems annoyed that we're there. Her daughter (niece?) who appears to be about 5 is nasty to the other kids and their parents as well. Definitely not a friendly bunch.

We attended a free event this past weekend at My Gym put on by Huggies. For all the children they had - they didn't have enough employees there. Also, we didn't get a warm welcome when we arrived which I am big on first impressions when it comes to customer service.

However, they did have a lot of things to do for the kids. Since this was a free event they were doing one thing after another which was a little overwhelming. I did speak to a parent who attends twice a week and told me that all of the different activities are not brought out each time as they split them up on each day.

Big suggestion is if you have little ones NOT to go when it is around their naptime which we did. It is a great place for the kids to run and play and get out of the heat. Also, it keeps the parents in shape too.

My 2 year old attended a birthday party here and had a blast. However, you have to keep careful watch on your child here. There was a closet that was opened and many of the 2 year old were running into the closet which contained gym equipment and cleaners. The girls running the party were not very attentive to the children considering the age group at the party. My son ahd a great time jumping and cliimbing things but many of the items were not age approrpriate for the age group attending the party. One child vomited in the middle of the room. They sprinkle some cleaner on the area but left it to parents to make sure the children did not step in the mess. My son had a great time but my husband and I were exhausted from chasing him around and blocking him from the dangerous areas.

I inquired on the rates for the regular classes and nearly fainted from the price. It is very expensive.

PROS: Assortment of fun for kids.
CONS: Very expensive.

My Gym should probably get a better rating, but the opinion on it is split in my household. I thought it was a nice alternative to Chuck E Cheese and good exercise for kids. My wife thought the staff was too inattentive to the children and didn't have a good "B" plan for kids that didn't want to "dangle from the zip line and crash into a mat". For a group of about 20 pre-school or pre-third grade kids, I think it's a fun place and you can bring in food to eat at their cafeteria like tables. Not too many places for parents to sit and watch, but if you've got good hosts and you feel comfortable leaving your child, you can browse around the district. Unlike Chuck E Cheese, there's no real security to speak of.

PROS: Good alternative for kids parties
CONS: Treat it like an indoor playground and keep a sharp eye on your kid
