24 Hour Fitness

No matter what time of the day you go you are guaranteed to get your favorite equipment. Even when its a peak time, you still have no trouble getting the mchines you need to work out. It is also a family gym, everyone knows everyone else. Its a great place!!

I first joined 24 Hour Fitness two years ago, and loved it. That was when I came in, did my small group of known exercises and left. Not realizing the whole other world to that gym...

I didn't find out about the lovely eucalyptus room, the tanning areas, the private training sessions for another year. Why? Because when I first went in to inquire about a membership the sales guy threw me a pitch, didn't show me around, and guaranteed results. That's what I was looking for, results...

Although I enjoyed my time, I felt there was something missing. It wasn't until I let my membership expire, moved across town, and vowed to get back into shape that I found the perfect gym for me.

The staff were great. Gave a full tour of the gym, explained how the personal training sessions worked, demonstrated some of the machines that I had never seen before, and gave me a sales pitch that was non'threatening. I didn't feel obligated to buy a certain membership plan or tons of supplements, but by the time I left there that day, I had.

24 Hour Fitness has the latest workout equipment. My personal favorite at this point in time is the Stair Climber. It's not a stepper...has actual stairs on a rotating belt that you actually CLIMB. It's great for my rehabbing knee! At the specific location I go to there are audio boxes on the treadmills, bikes, and cross trainer machines. You plug your headphones into the outlet and can listen to the several TV's mounted overhead. That's great for keeping me from watching my time slowly go by on those "already tired but have to go to the gym" days.

24 Hour fitness has trained and certified training staff and nutrition specialists. I was able to set my goals, review my eating habits and body dimensions with a trainer and have my own specialized plan for better health. I do have to admit though, the exercise plan was a lot easier and less time consuming than following the meal designs.
