One of my wife and my favorite cuisines is Thai; we love the use of fresh vegetables, the wonderfully diverse flavors that it provides as well as one our more favorite dishes, Green papaya salad. We have tried several different Thai restaurants and just so happened that we had finished shopping at the Las Vegas Outlet mall and notice Thai Room II. The restaurant was very clean, not very busy considering its location a few miles south of the Four Seasons on Las Vegas Blvd and the fact that it was lunch time (they have a buffet from 11 3 pm daily M-F for $8 per person). When we were told that they had Green papaya salad on the buffet both me and my wife smile, since typically a standard papaya salad usually runs $7 at most of the other restaurants that we had been to. So this gave us the chance to not only try one of our favorite dishes but also indulge in some of the other dishes that we enjoy all for the price of what would have cost us for just the papaya salad alone. The Pad Thai noodles were very good; my son enjoys sushi, which they had on the buffet line (sumari rolls I believe is what it was when we were there). Plus there were several other Thai curries, a few Chinese selections, a limited selection of fruit for desert (which initially disappointed my 3 yr old daughter who has come to expect ICE CREAM at every buffet in Las Vegas, but she found out that she enjoys watermelon, about as much as ice cream, well almost as much). All in all the selection wasnt bad for the price. The wait staff were on top of clearing dirty dishes, refilling our water, supplying us with napkins and ensuring that we were well taken care of. Very good customer service skills, which are one of the biggest things, I look at when it comes to restaurant service. I am very critical of every aspect of the entire dining experience when I do dine out, so I like it when I can say that I would recommend a place to others. I just hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

PROS: Nice, quiet place for a weekday lunch buffet. AWESOME PAPAYA SALAD
CONS: Limited selection, location
