Family Music Centers

I love the henserson location of family music center. I teach lessons in the area and love that when I need a book, they are close by. The staff is awesome, there is a really nice young lady who manages the store (I think) who is knowledgable and sweet. She always goes out of her way to order me what I need. The piano salesman named bob is wonderful, what a great group! I love to patronize our local businesses and this one is tops!keep up the good work family music!

I love this store. The entire staff is really talented, super friendly and very informed and willing to help you. I never leave this place without a smile. Even the sales guy isn't pushy.

They have a lot of variety to offer. They have brand new and used instruments (pianos, organs, drums, guitars, etc), tons of music, accessories, gear, lessons and shows (concerts at the west location, room is rentable too).

There are also 2 other locations on the north side of town at 915 W Craig Rd and the west side at 8125 W Sahara Ave.

Pros: everything

Cons: closed on sundays for the summer

I highly recommend the music lesson program here at Family Music Center in Green Valley. They are accommodating and professional. My daughter is learning violin. Her teacher is very knowledgeable and patient. I took my daughter to a couple of different schools here in the Las Vegas area, but we found a home here with her teacher - Nancy. I have recently signed my second daughter up for violin. She is little so we are renting a tiny violin for a very reasonable rate. With the rental we get two weeks free lessons. If you are looking for a teacher for you or your child ask for Nancy.

Pros: Talented & professional teachers, convenient location

Cons: parking can be somewhat difficult if Trader Joe's next door is busy
