The economy has really deprived this place from a once upbeat mall. There was at least 30-40 empty stores in here when I went there last weekend. I am very surprised management hasn't offered killer leases to get this mall pumping again.

The Boulevard Mall is older, but nice. It is located pretty much in the center of town, close to the strip nad UNLV. The mall has a good selection of retailers to shop from, making it appealing to everyone.

OK for a Large Mall

I don't really like this mall. It's the largest in the state, but it always is filled up with the wrong crowd, it seems. It's not in the best part of town and the people that sometimes shop here reflect it. This is the same mall in which a teenager was beaten to death in the food court while he was with his parents. Granted, there are a lot of stores and the selection is what you would expect at any other major mall at the same price, but if you're looking for a day with the family, you'd be better off going to the Meadows or the downtown outlet mall.

The locals go to this mall. This mall is not as big as Galleria Mall, but it kept clean and has many things to offer. The mall caters all kind of ages. Macys, Jc Penney, Dillards, and Sears are the department stores they have. They have food courts also. The parking is plenty. Overall , it's an okay mall.

If you are looking for something, chances are the Boulevard Mall will have it. This is a huge mall, and they have alot to offer. Everytime I visit, they are expanding. They have little kiosk stores all throughout, and you can find some pretty neat gifts. The food court is nice too. You will enjoty your trip here, even if you are just window shopping.

I was not very impressed by the boulevard mall. It is a little confusing to get around, because it is almost U shape. You have to cut through the middle to get to the other side. A little weird. Most of the stores are clothing shops, which all seem to have the same things. It is also a little shady. It isn't in the greatest part of town.

Many many years ago, this use to be a great mall, however in the years it has gone extremely downhill, literally over-run with kids, a lot gang members all out to cause problems. There have been a lot of instances of robberies, shootings etc., even in the afternoon hours in broad day light. It is more stressful than enjoyable, especially sitting in food court to get something to eat, wondering if someone is going to get shot at inside. There are much better places to shop, that are safer. If you do go, I advise you don't go alone.

Shopping going downhill

This is one of two malls in the Las Vegas area that need to be torn down and rebuilt in modern style. The Boulevard Mall exterior is very old and the proof is in the number of shoppers which continues to fall over time. The location was at one time great, but now the Fashon Show Mall appears to be taking over.

CONS: Old

This is a very popular mall located on Maryland Pkwy just south of Desert Inn. They have a very neat food court which is accessible at the rear of the building next to JC Penney. One thing I have found is that they do not have very many stores that carry sports jerseys. You really need to go to the Galleria Mall for that. I was quite surprised at their lack of quality sporting goods stores.

Now that there are more malls that are open in the Las Vegas area this mall has become less crowded; especially, during the holiday season which is perfect for the shopper who hates crowds.

There are several malls in the Las Vegas Valley. This has to be by far, the most popular with the locals. It is located on Desert Inn and Maryland Pkwy. This is right in the middle of Vegas. They have hunderds of stores all opening early for your convenience. They have all the department stores you could want to find. They have all kinds of fun stores inside. They also have santa visit every year at Christmas time. Amazingly enough, it has been the same santa for the past four years. This is great for consistency. They have a giant food court here too. You can find Pana Express, mcdonalds, Pizza and more. This is a great mall and everyone loves it.
