I agree they are horrible. My one experience with them, 2 weeks ago, will be my last. I had about a dozen shirts laundered at one of their Monroe Ave location. A few days later, I went to take unbag 4 that were hanging together in the same bag. I was shocked to find an enormous brown stain on the front and sleeve of the first shirt *and* that the stain had bled through not only to the back of the shirt, but all three of the shirts! I took them to the store on Saturday 3/20 and an older woman working there very rudely told me she couldn't talk to me about them and I had to go the Andrews location (she would not explain why). At that point, I saw where this was going but decided to go to Andrews anyway. The girl working basically said the stains were my own fault, because there was absolutely NO way it could have happened in one of their locations. She said the best she could do was try to get the stains out "at no charge," but if the stains won't come out they were not prepared to do anything else. So *they* ruin the garments, and their policy is to simply to attempt to fix the damage and nothing more. It was clear there would be no getting this out, and I simply asked for a credit for laundering of 4 shirts in the future. How much would that have cost them? $6-7?? She refused and said I could come back on a different day and talk to someone a 'plant manager' if I want, but they would still not do anything else because 'they didn't cause the stain.' I am obviously not going to chase all over town for days & weeks for something so ridiculous. I will however share my experience with everyone I can.

This is bar none the worst dry cleaner I have ever been too. On numerous occasions I had to have items sent back to their cleaning facility either because (1) new stains appeared that were not present when I dropped off the item or (2) they did not get out the original stain to begin with. Note they request to "try again", but make you pay for the dirty garment before they will do so.

Amazingly, when I dropped a blazer off to be cleaned and they either didn't try (they said they may have missed it altogether, after I pointed it out before cleaning, and it was about 3 inches in circumference) or they didn't get the mark out, they asked me to pay them if I wanted them to try again. I said no, I would like my blazer and will not be paying for something you either didn't try to, or didn't get out (it looked exactly as it did when I went in there). Later on, I was accused by the owner as being a "thief" and told I was lucky they didn't call the police on me. That's right; they were going to call the police for me refusing to pay for something they didn't clean. It should be noted I later took the blazer to another cleaner, who on the first attempt, made it look brand new.

Most recently after three attempts to remove a stain they had placed on my shirt while cleaning, I made a claim. After three weeks and countless hours of trying to get in touch with someone, I finally got the owner who said they was no such stain and I was making it up. (Do you believe he said I was making it up, as if I had some kind of conspiracy to defraud him and waste 3 weeks of my time on a shirt!?). Finally, he reiterated a was a thief (per the blazer incident) and banned me from the store. I will never do business there again, and I highly encourage everyone to stay far away from Speedy's.

This is one of the best dry cleaners I have been to. The store is very neat and clean as you enter. The only draw back here is there is not much parking, but this usually isn't too much of a problem. There service time is typically about a week, which is normal. I recommend them.
