This is a neighborhood restaurant that we have been coming to for about a year. On our first visit, we walked out because the service was so bad. But, it was new so we decided to try again. The food and the service improved greatly for a few months, and we took friends and neighbors here on occasion as well. Last Sunday we went to dinner early so the restaurant was not crowded. Our waiter acted as though he were stoned, He forgot our appetizer, brought the wrong drinks, and 40 minutes later after all the tables around us had been served, we still didn't have our food. So we spoke to the owner-Greek woman. She acted like it was all our fault. When the food came it was not what we ordered-pasta instead of lemon potatoes, cheese ravioli rather than mushroom i.e. No concession was offered on the bill. Next time, we'll go to Bella Luna, Gennaro, or Lisco where the service and food are always splendid. Steer clear of Perfecto I say.

Pros: Outdoor seating

Cons: Dreadful Service-Again!

This is a terrific, moderately priced local restaurant with a dual personality. Telio is the Greek sister, set in a pleasant dining room with full bar, featuring delicious Mediterranean specialties including creamy, meaty Moussaka, classic spreads, a terrific selection of grilled fish, chicken and lamb dishes. The appetizers are to die for--the hot, melted Saganaki cheese, spinach pie and grilled octopus or calamari--yum. But you can get Italian food here, too, thanks to Perfecto, the little pizza-place space next door. The portions of classic Italian dishes are really generous, and the quality is good for the price. There is delivery of both cuisines for those who prefer to eat at home. My husband lives on the angel-hair pasta Bolognese, I favor the Greek salad and the eggplant Parmesan with angel-hair (it lasts for two meals), and our son goes for--of course--the pizza and hearty hot heros.

It seems like a trend recently, as I've received bad service in a lot of places, maybe it's just my luck, but this was awful. After taking our drink and food order OUR WAITRESS LEFT!!!!! We caught a glimpse of her happily announcing she was going to a bar as she walked out the door. Over 30 minutes later we flagged down another server who had to ask us what we had for dinner to create our bill. Horrendous. The food itself was ok, nothing special. If you want greek go to Kefi, if you want italian go to Lisca, but don't ever come here.

Pros: You never have to do here if you don't want to

Cons: They're open.

After serving the neighborhood for over 10 years, Perfecto not only received a face-lift but opened a fabulous Greek restaurant next door. The pan-pizza is gone, thankfully, and a tasty brick-oven pizza is now offered. The pasta dishes are relatively inexpensive and tasty. I ate in the Greek restaurant and I could not believe how top-notch it was. Then I found out that the Greek chef headed up the kitchens in the some of the best Greek restaurants in Manhattan, Avra, Ammos, etc. What a pleasant suprise. It's good enough to satisfy your urge for pizza and might be one of the best Greek restaurants in the city. Can't beat the prices.

Pros: Good Italian, Excellent Greek. Inexpensive and very friendly.

Cons: Just re-opened and wait staff needs a little time to work the kinks outs

Whoever gave this place a 10 either works at/owns the place, or is comparing it to other pizza places within a 1/2 block radius of the restaurant. Look, the pizza is good, and the food is fine for a quick eat-in or take out, so if that's what you're looking for, the Perfecto's will do. But it's not in the upper echelon of pizza joints. I give the pizza a 7.
