Great selection of videos. Whoever selected these really knew what they're doing. Good selection of indies, cult, and foreign but they have big theater New Releases as well. Cute, comfortable atmosphere. The attached screening room shows good stuff too, they just do a poor job of advertising them. So glad this store is in my neighborhood, I never go anywhere else.

Pros: Video selection

Cons: late fees

.

Today I bought a plain and a pepperoni for $5.25. These are the basic staples of pizza, too much. Anywhere else I can get a slice of plain for $2, and I will for now on. I have always said Two Boots is my favorite in the neighborhood. I like the thin crust, but sometimes the slices are so small even the $2 fee is questionable. Now their downsizing the video store and raising prises on the pie. New owners? Sell outs? Whoever, I don't like them anymore. They can take their ugly florescent lights from over the pie to the bank, not my money. Maybe your money suckers? Don't give them the satisfaction.

Pros: Yummy Pizza

Cons: Take advantage of customers

Pizza and Fun under one roof! I've been there a couple times to see the comedy show Thursday nights downstairs and each time I grab a slice and a beer. The other night I brought 8 friends and we all had different slices of their hilariously named pizzas. I recommend the Larry Tate. Earth Goddess looked really good. My friend liked The Dude, but I haven't tried it. It is delicious NY Pizza at its best. It's a hip environment, in the heart of the East Village/Alphabet City and the shows downstairs in the Den of Cin make for a fun evening.

Pros: Fresh Ingredients, Variety of Slices, Live entertainment downstairs, takes CC

Cons: I wish it was a LITTLE bit cheaper, you have to speak loudly to the staff

.

Here you can get The Dude, The Bird, and other festive cajun influenced pizzas. They tend to have a little spice kick to them, but you can request the mild sauce if needed. Sometimes they overcook the pizza more than I'd like resulting in a slightly overdone pie. A nice alternative to your basic italian pizza.

We order from Two Boots on a regular basis and have eaten in the restaurant because of their unique pizza with a thin crust and Cajun sauce that can't be beat. Usually, delivery to 14th St. and Ave. B takes 45 minutes, but tonight was the worst. We waited one hour to call the restaurant at which point they said it'd arrive in a "minute." Finally, after an hour and a half we received an ice cold pizza with no apologies from the restaurant.

Cons: 1.5 hrs for delivery

The selection is not top notch but you can usually find a decent video to watch on a Friday night. To rent a video you will need a credit card info on file. Not the cheapest but better priced than Blockbuster. Plus it's near a bunch of pizzarias and chinese restaurant. So you can catch dinner and a show all on one block.

Get it fresh and it's a lot better than run-of-the-mill corner pizza stands. Cornmeal on the bottom of thin crust makes it crunchier without interfering with taste. Standard toppings or spicy New Orleans style. Really Good!

Expensive, overrated, and small slices for big cash. There are so many better pizza places in walking distance from any of the two boots locations. If anyone else tells me this is the best pizza in NYC, I'm gonna flip.
(tastes OK, but just way overrated)

This place is soooooooo over rated. Why do they have corn meal (or whatever that is) on the crust? Real pizza places do not put pineaplle on any pizza. Give me a pizza place that makes good enough pizza that they dont need to use corny names to sell it. While it is not anywhere near the best pizza in the village, it is among the more expensive.

This pizza is awful...seems like you cannot get a slice of pizza with just pepperoni or sausage, you must get a Mr.pink, or another gimmicky slice that has toppings that do not belong, like crawfish??!! Beyond that the crust is thin and soggy, and there is barely enough cheese to call it pizza. I felt totally ripped off that they pass themselves off as a pizza parlor. If you want to sell fru-fru pizza you should have to move to California or put it inside a restaurant.

The service was awful too, as the counterperson asked me 3 times what I had ordered before producing my plain slice 15 minutes later.

Two Boots, one of the few interesting pizza shops in NYC my first visit was the beginning of a long term relationship with this place. The food is always fresh and interestingly tasty. I am a pretty good simulator of sauces but this is giving me a bit of a hart time. I think I will give up trying to figure out the ingredients and enjoy the food. I gave an A+ grade for Two Boots.

The pizza here is over-priced and of poor quality. Before you make the mistake of paying good money for this aweful pizza, take a good look at it. The pizza is soggy and mushy, while the toppings themselves are sparse and extremely dried out. All of the veggies are withered and the meats are crusty. The pizza just simply tastes how it looks, terrible. Skip this sad, sad excuse for pizza and go spend the money on hot dog and knish. You'll be better off.

Best pizza in the city hands down- each location shines- I love the spicy combinations and cornmeal crust- finally NYC pizza that deserves to be called NYC pizza. I recently moved and now they are right around the corner- 3.00+ a slice is a little steep for pizza but this pizza is worthy of meal status.

Two Boots is a unique pizza place. Not the typical cardboard with rubber. O.K. yeah, it's sort of like cardboard, but then again NY style is cardboard thin. And, at least they dress it up a bit with the cornmeal. The "spicy" sauce they use is more "tangy" then "spicy", which grows on you after awhile. I'd recommend the place if your looking for something different then the typical chain pizza or greasy rubber and cardboard pizza.

Who says pizza has to be chewy, greasy and smothered in red sauce? Two Boots has reinvented pizza with pizzazz. There's more flavor (and imagination) in one slice here than in all the "Rays Originals" in the city.

It's just bad. This is pizza for "tourists" not "purists". Pizza should not have crayfish on it. Nor should it have lemon zest on it either. I cringe everytime I walk past one of these horrible establishments. If you need to add hip trendy ingredients (watercress?!?!?!) to make your pizza taste good, you need to call it something other than pizza. This doo-doo should be against the law in NYC. Their motto should be "...and it's overpriced two boot"

My brother first told me about Two Boots pizza about two years ago. I just thought, it can't be all that. So we went one day, I ordered a pepperoni slice. I was in the middle of a conversation, and I bit a peice of the slice, and I was like WHOA! This pizza is gooooooood. Ever since then, nothing compares, nothing comes close. Two Boots pizza is definitely the best pizza in the city. I also like the establishments, very cool decoration, funky. It's a great dining experience.

I know that a lot of people seem to like their pizza, but I just don't get it. They definitely go overboard on the garlic and semolina and forget that the whole point of the pie is dough, tomato sauce and cheese. I've had this stuff quite a few times hoping that I'll come to understand the fuss, but each time the cheese gets nastier and the tomato sauce skimpier. The people who rave about this are clearly out of towners.

When I'm a little low on the cash flow, I know I can always go to Two Boots and fill up on some delicious and affordable slices of pizza with soda and be satisfied without breaking the bank. There are all types of interesting topping combinations for the pizza - so it's nice to have a little something different! The pizzas have a cornmeal crust which is also something different - and tasty too! The restaurant is always kept real clean, and there are nice big windows for people watching. The staff is really polite too. A great place to pick up a good, cheap bite, and not feel self-conscious if you're alone either!
