I put a request in through the Internet on Honda.com web site and was contacted my Sophia at Plaza Honda. I was looking for a new car and one for my daughter. She contacted me right away with a straight price, including destination, on a Honda Accord and Civic. I wasn't sure about the Civic for my daughter, so she explained that they also have Toyota, Honda and Acura Dealerships and provided me pricing on the Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla and Scion TC. When I got to the dealerships I got the exact prices I was quoted and was treated great. We bought a Honda Accord and the Scion and where extemely impressed with all the people we dealt with, especially Eric at Toyota and Sophia our original contact person.
This is a great place with great people!

This may be the scuzziest, slimiest dealer I have ever dealt with. I avoided buying a car from them for the last 45 years because the 5 or 6 times I've had to deal with them have resulted in either my being insulted, or having to go back several times for simple stuff, or both. I finally bought a car from them last week. What a mistake! The car is fine but the experience left me ranting and raving. They lie routinely, they BS just for the hell of it, they negotiate and then break their word, they insult you directly and indirectly, the entire experience took about 3 weeks plus a final 3 hours before I finally got my car at the price we had agreed upon. I finally rejected the entire deal when they added all kinds of nickel-and-dime numbers to the final price which I wouldn't have noticed if I handed bothered to add up all the numbers on the computer-printed contract. I kept insisting they correct the agreement, the kept tearing up the old one and printing out a new one that had a few less bucks added on. They did this three times and finally insisted that I was trying to cheat them over $45. I got up to walk out - not because $45 makes anyone richer or poorer but because I wouldn't allow myself to be insulted like that. Finally the sales manager, who insisted that he was "a man of principle' (yeah, sure)gave in and waived that $45 thus bringing the contract down to what we had originaly agreed upon.

Afterwards I checked with several people who had purchased or leased from Plaza and discovered their experience was similar to mine; they routinely do this.

A week later I went back to the Plaza parts department to buy a few air filters so that my mechanic could do my oil and filter changes. I can buy a cheap oil/filter change for $15 or $20 but I prefer to pay my mechanic $25 for the full job. Plaza wanted to charge me $28 just for one air filter. 'Nuff said.

I called to confirm 1.5 hours before showing up at Plaza Honda that a car would be available for a test drive. James insisted on talking prices first ("if I took $500 off the sticker price would you buy it right now?") even though I told him I was there just to look and to test drive the car. Since I already drive a Honda, James assured me that I "already know how the car drives" and ultimately explained very plainly that that no cars were available to test drive. He said that they'd need to take apart the showroom to make a car available and encouraged me to walk across the street to check out a Toyota (at Plaza Toyota, of course)! No apology, no regret from James - no problem at all wasting my time knowing full well that there would be no test drive, even though he photocopied my license and wrote down lots of my personal info. I walked out, never to return. I received a phone call the following night (8:15pm!) from Damian at Plaza asking how my test drive went. I explained what happened and he said that if we couldn't come to an agreement over price, there is no test drive. I explained that I never said the price was bad -- just that I wanted to DRIVE the car before I purchased it. Damian acted like he'd never heard such a ridiculous idea before! Damian also explained that nobody would want to take a test drive on a car that had 100 (yes, he said 100) miles on it, so that's why they don't let everybody take test drives. Besides, he said, there are no cars for test drives except those in the indoor showroom. I am not making any of this up. Plaza Honda can absolutely kiss my a**. My recommendation is that everyone avoid this place like the plague. I certainly will.

This is a good car dealership and they are very helpful. The salespeople will shine your shoes to make a deal, so let them. I highly recommend this place because although I didn't buy a Honda, I enjoyed the test drives and browsing here.

We wanted to get another car, so we went to Plaza Honda. It is a very nice dealership and is huge. Plaza takes up more than an entire block! Inside was very nice looking, and very clean, and the cars were arranged so that you could really get a good look at them both inside and out. . The salespeople tend to jump on you the minute you walk in the door, but if you just tell them that you're just looking right now, they leave you alone. The salespeople are fairly helpful if you have questions about the car although mine didn't know the answer to a couple of questions. We found a car that we liked, and although the purchase process took a long time, it went smoothly and we had a new car.

My uncle was looking for a honda pilot and the car dealers were very informative. They were able to answer all questions and negotiating the price with them wasn't as bad as I thought it would've been. The only problem was that after my uncle decided on everything and was ready to sign the documents, the last color (black) was just "sold" to another person. What a concidence. Nevertheless, my uncle chose another color and was satisfied.

the staff at plaza honda was great. They are friendly and are willing to keep you comfortable while they help you. Negotiating with them doesnt feel like pulling teeth and there can be a win win situation.
