This is one of the great Asian Restaurant I've been to. I love the cuisine. I'll definitely try the other food on the menu on my next visit.

This was the best food and value that I have ever had in Manhattan. Generous portions of absolutely the freshest and most authentic tasting food. The appetizers were glorious...and the main course of grilled kebobs and fresh fish were unbelievable. After the great dinner, I learned that they have entertainment on the weekends....you can be sure I am now a regular!!

Pros: best hommus in town

Cons: I need to visit to often!

Besides the food being out of this world, the entertainment was a lot of fun. On the weekends there is a musician named Nadim and there was a fabulous belly dancer named Sira. Our group partied and danced the night away! Would definitely recommend Byblos to friends when they come to New York.

This is simply the best Lebanese restaurant in the City.
The atmosphere is authentic and the food is great .
I love to go there on the weekend with friends to enjoy the show and the amazing food.
We always take the set menu and this is the best choice for a group of 4 or more ,you get great selection of starters and main course ..
I would recommend this place for a romantic dinner on the week and for the party lovers on the weekend.

I can't believe I didn't try this place earlier! its amazing

we had the meat pies, basturma and aged cheese for appetizers and they were ALL very yummy. They all had a distinct flavor and the only thing wrong was there wasn't enough. ( this is when I wish I wasn't in a big group so I don't have to share =)).

My friend and I ordered the seafood for two dish. The whole dish was prepared perfectly.

We had almost every item on the dessert menu and they were all equally good.

on top of the good food, our server was wonderful. Its not easy being attentive to a group of 11 people but he was friendly , funny and had great knowledge of everything on the menu.

I love Byblo's! The ambiance is nice, and the staff is very warm and friendly. I absolutely love, LOVE, LOVEEE the Fatoush salad, and have been trying ever since to make it as good as Byblo's, but there's just no comparison. The kebabs are delicious, and so is the hummus. Definitely try Byblo's for some great food!

My girlfriend and I try to come her at least twice a month. She is Lebanese and always raves about the authenticity. The food is delicious and the restaurant is very generous with their portions.

There is always a warm feeling when you go to Byblos, the staff is very friendly and there isn't that elitist feeling that are associated with so many nyc restaurants.

I don't know where to begin. We had such a wonderful evening at Byblos. Starting with the amazing appetizers and awesone ambiance. The food was delicious. Hommus was fresh and very tasty. I had the chicken and my date had the lamb shish kebob. Both were very generous portions and top quality. The staff was very friendly and mad us feel like part of the family. We truly enjoyed our night at Byblos amd cannot wait to go back. Prices were also very reasonable.

Not what I expected from a name that is supposed to be spell good food. What made me sick was the bad smell and taste of their garlic paste (recycled many times from one table to another). Their chicken was dry -- the portions were very small and the prices were up the roof - - so unncessarily very expensive... for some food that did not deserve it. One waiter spilled water on our babaghanouj by mistake and another waiter was nice to replaced it. Guess what? The owner conveniently charged us for 2 babaghanouj. He does not care becasue they know there are millions of people in Manhattan and very few Leb restaurants.

Cons: Overinflated prices and bill -- tiny portions

Coming from one of the largest arab-american communities in the United States, Dearborn(Detroit) Michigan, and someone who has dated many middle-eastern girls in his life, I can honestly say I've learned my lebanese food as well as any native of the middle-east. I can tell you that Byblos is not up to par with most Lebanese restaurants I've been to.
I went last week with my girlfriend, and was shocked(yet impresed?) at the layout of the restaurant. It was much more high-class than I had imagined it would be. Not what I'm used to with Lebanese restaurants. It was a nice place, but I could already tell the food would not be authentic.
I ordered the stuffed lamb-breast, which was actually pretty good, but extremely overpriced. My girlfriend ordered a kebab with rice, which was rather dissapointing. I've definetley had better at most middle-eastern restaurants I've been to. It was rather dry and bland. It was also overpriced for what it came with, which was practically nothing except rice.
Maybe I'm not being fair to this place comparing it to the Lebanese cuisine of Dearborn Michigan, but I feel the food was sub-par, unauthentic, and not worth the price. Then again, it is Manhattan.

When you first walk into the restaurant, it doesnt really seem that you are in a Middle Eastern restaurant. The decor is not the great and there is really nothing special about the whole restaurant. BUT if you go on a Friday or Saturday, the feeling is different: you will hear Middle Eastern music being played by a live singer. And just as you are enjoying the music, a belly dancer takes over the dance floor and graces everyone with her beauty, style, and belly dancing. If you get the urge to dance feel free to get up and dance in the small stage (ie. An area in the middle of the restaurant). Over all, if you go on a Friday or a Saturday you will have a GREAT time (especially with a group of friends). And O, the food is very good too.

I went to Byblos on a wednesday night with two of my girlfriends. The service is excellent, staff very attentive, and even after we ate, they didn't rush us out!! The food options were great, allowing you to sample different meats, all of which were generous portions. All of the food was tasty! You can't go wrong!

I went with a large group and was very pleasantly surprised by generous portions, wonderful variety for all tastes and the best tabouleh this side of the East River. 6 kinds of lamb are succulent and imaginative (I don't even like lamb!) Try the babaganoush- it's made with smoked eggplant and is wonderful. I haven't had such wonderful Middle Eastern since my experience on kibbutz in Israel. I hear there is a belly dancer late nights.
