THEY LET MY 3 YEAR OLD BULLDOG DIE IN A CAGE.

"Dr" zelkin is an idiot.

my parents have been going to this place since 1995.i started going there myself when i got my first english bulldog almost 7 years ago.three years ago we bought a second english bulldog (a male) from cherkoee bulldogs (championship lines).last sunday our male woke up and could not use his back right leg and had a lot of difficulty breathing..we drove staright to the clinic and after waiting almost a half hour before the "vet" examined him and said he thought he might have a fracture and he wanted to give him anesthesia and x ray his leg.an hour later they told us he had no fractures and to go home and pick him up before 3pm.my wife asked to see our little guy they said sure go ahead.when my wife saw him she said to the vet that he was having a very hard time breathing..his response was oh its just part of the anesthesia dont worry about it.. we drove 45 minutes to the house and about 10 minutes later the vet called to say that he was workin on another pet when the technician came in and told him to come quickly cause our dog had stopped breathing.he told us that he tried giving him an adrenaline shot and a heart massage etc.i think the "vet" is an idiot.
when u saw he had no fractures why didnt you continue investigating why he couldnt use his leg?why was he having such a hard time breathing? instead you left him in a cage as if he was going to get better all on his own.we took our little guys body to cornell univ. at ithaca and they performed a necropsy.they found out he had a leg infection and a small intestine infection.no breaks,no fractures,etc.our little guy would be with us today but that "vet" felt he was to busy to keep working on my little guy..so instead he left him in acage while he went to work on another pet..even after my wife told him what a hard time our little guy was having breathing.that vet let my dog die and should go wash cars for a living cause he is not a vet and by leaving my little guy in a cage when he knew he couldnt walk or breathe was totally wrong and shows he does not care.

Very unprofessional.

when i walked in two weeks ago, i asked for some pet traveling info. the reception/nurse "can't help. you gotta find out your own." so i took the business card, later that day when i gather all info, i gave a call.

I asked how long it will take a blood test [to prove rabies free] to come out, the reception told me one day. *at that time, i don't know the test is called rabies titer.

2 days ago, i brought in my dog, the doctor told me result will be available in 10-14 days, i told him it's too late for me, he then told me he will put a rush and no worry. then he drew a blood test and gave 2 shots, which cost me $442 in total.

today 5.26.2010, the receptionist gave me a wake up call, telling me that they CANNOT run the test because my dog didn't have the microchip. so I should bring in my dog to do the microchip (which will cost $64) and draw another blood test and then send it to the lab. WHAT!! I felt so bad for my dog.

later that day, when she confirmed with everything, she told me the result will only be available in 4 weeks. (well, i think she shouldn't even call me when she didn't confirm with things, she made me waited nervously for the whole morning. There's go my day.)

HUH!!! first of all, the receptionist is extremely rude when dealing with upset customer. Second, each employees tell me different things, very inconsistent. Third, give me a hard time for refund. [i have to go in and showed the receipt. plus, the girl made mistake: instead of giving me the refund $338 for the blood test, she charged me other $338. so in the end, she returned me back with $676.]

I went for the first time on a referral. SO far, I like the vets and the girls are really nice too. I bought my cat in for a routine checkup and i felt very at ease with the way they handled everything. I think i will be going back again!!

These guys took great care of my cats when both had bladder stone issues. I was there so frequently with one of my cats that they knew me when I walked in - at both of their locations. Dr. Kwasnik was our main vet, but we saw several in our few years going here (we only stopped going because we moved to a new city).

I took my male cat here to get his special surgery. I dropped him off at night and picked him up the next afternoon. They must have done a great job on him. He came home and acted like nothing happen. He stuck his head in his food bowl and stuffed himself. A previous male cat had gone in somewhere else and was in pain for a week. Kudos to this clinic.
