The worst dealership I have ever been to. Made an appointment to see a specific car, then drove 142 miles and got there on time after 3 hours of driving. Turns out they were about to show that very car to a walk-in customer. The salesman told us, Oh, you can just all look at the car at the same time. When we told them we actually had an appointment to view this particular car, their response was Well, did you put a deposit down? (Meanwhile, the other guys drove away with the car on their test drive) Really? A deposit on a car I have not seen to have the dealer honor an appointment that they made? No apology from the manager either, although he was quick to try to sell us another - much more expensive - car. These are the people that earn used car dealers their weasely reputation. We wasted a Saturday and almost 300 miles driving on these guys. Be smart. Read and trust the other 1 star reviews. Thats what I wish I had done.

BEWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This dealership uses bait and switch tactics! I called this dealership to negotiate a price for a basic CRV. I quoted them a price I had received from another dealership, told them I needed the car in approx. 3 weeks and the person I originally spoke to on the phone (Helen) said they could beat this price. Her price was well below the other dealers so I tried securing it asap. Helen told me that she'd call me back the next day to take a deposit to lock in my price and send me a confirmation, as all of the people who take deposits had left for the night. After approx. 15 calls over the next week, I finally got somebody from finance to confirm the details Helen and I had negotiated. He said Jonathan would call me back "in a few minutes" to take the deposit. Jonathan didn't call back for days and every time I called no matter the time of day, he was "with a client". After threatening to take my business elsewhere, the mysterious Jonathan picked up the phone and confirmed all of the details of the deal, agreed to take my credit card to lock in a deposit, and said he'd send me a confirmation email immediately. He also asked me to name 3 colors, as he could guarantee that he'd get me at least one of them since they have "plenty" in stock. DAYS go by and many calls from me go by with Jonathan always being busy with his "clients". Finally, he once again picked up the phone once I threatened to take my business elsewhere. Only then, two and half weeks after my price was negotiated and confirmed and less than a week from when I need to have this car, Jonathan says that the "programs have changed" and he "can't give me the car at this rate or it would be a loss for them". He said he's fighting for them to match the price and he'll call me back in a few minutes. Once again, days go by and Jonathan is out of the dealership for the day. At this point I demanded to speak to the manager, thinking that he/she would certainly try to make things right. We spoke to the manager Alex Vargas, who was far and away one of the most unprofessional and downright liars I have ever had to deal with in any course of business. Alex said that he was aware of our situation and our conversations with Jonathan, but he was not able to sell us the baseline CRV at this price as they had "not a single car in stock to sell us", BUT since we need the car in a few days, he luckily did have a top of the line CRV in stock for "ONLY $100 more a month". Alex then pressured us that it wasn't a big deal as $100 wasn't that much money (although it was well over 1/3 of the original agreed upon monthly price). After much discussion back and forth with me expresing how disappointed I have been with him and his whole dealership, he said he couldn't do anything for us outside of calling us when the baseline CRV "came back in" (which he had "no idea" when that would happen). Not believing this story, my wife called the dealership back an hour later and asked if a baseline CRV was in stock if she wanted to come in and get it and they said "Sure, we have plenty of those CRVS ready to be driven away". We then called back and asked to speak to Alex, at which point we said we were done with this dealership forever, will tell all of our friends in Westchester about our experiences, and will be contacting the BBB and writing reviews on the internet about his lies. Bottom line is that this dealership knew all along that they couldn't meet this low price on the CRV. Rather than being honest and admitting that Helen spoke out of line and they couldn't offer the car for that low, they dragged things on and on and on until I only had a few days to go elsewhere before I needed the car, at which point they tried to bait and switch us into the high end model. I was searching for a 2011 Honda Pilot Touring and visited 4 Honda dealerships in the area before coming to White Plains Honda. At each of the other 4 dealers, I encountered the kinds of business practices and games that make people really dislike buying a car. When I saw online that White Plains Honda had a vehicle like I was looking for, I contacted them and first spoke with Juan, the used car manager, then with Bob Mancini, my salesperson. They were both honest and upfront, very easy to deal with and in general made the process as painless as possible. Discussions over pricing were easy and honest. They had no problem with the fact that I had pre-arranged my own financing and never tried to force me to use their own internal financing as another dealer had done. Very simply, there were no games. Even when my own financing source (credit union) proved to be extremely difficult to deal with, they were very patient and continued to go out of their way to keep the deal together. Weeks after my purchase, I had a question about my tag/registration and Bob was very quick to return my call and answer my questions. When the dealership received my tags (from Florida), Bob contacted me to let me know he would be overnighting them to me.
I would definitely purchase another vehicle from White Plains Honda in the future.

I ended up going to a different Honda dealer to get the work done and it was like night and day - White Plains Honda = ignored me, rude, waste of time.

I traded in my used Pilot and this was the easiest and most satisfying experience I have ever had in a car dealer.

I had gone to at least 6 other Honda dealers in Westchester shopping around for the right car and was won over by White Plains Honda.

They were truly honest, patient and went above and beyond in making the experience the best ever.

For those of you who have had bad experiences at other dealers, please come by White Plains Honda and ask for Sandy and Joe, they will beat all other dealers on price, service and followup.
Sandy was polishing up my car when I came to pick it up,, in the heat wave!!

Do not be fooled by their small dealer appearance. They have access to every Honda on the market through their extensive inventory system.

I rarely take the time to rate anything online but really believe they deserve the perfect rating they got.

Don't believe the bad ratings they got last year. totally new team there and they really rock!

Need a car? Talk to Zeeshan Majid at White Plains Certified Used Honda (??WPH?) located on 316 Central Park Avenue, White Plains, New York. Zeeshan wants your business and has certainly earned mine. On May 28, 2011, I walked into WPH, with no intention of buying a car. I was ??just looking?. I walked out that same day, the owner of a 2009 Accord. Zeeshan had said to me ??what do I need to do to have you walk out with that car today?? Now, I am the type of person who thinks about all the possible permutations of a purchase. I like to shop around, compare features, review government crash tests, calculate the cost of ownership, etc. I am not one to make a major purchase on instinct alone. However, Zeeshan made me feel comfortable about the car I was test driving. He did not play around. He took me to the best car on the lot based on what I was looking for. The first car he showed me was the one I eventually bought. The entire process was great. There was no ??high pressure sales? (which I hate) just simple information and encouragement. I am very happy with my purchase and having worked with Zeeshan.

There is also Mr. Hamid Anwar. Mr. Anwar is a dignified gentleman. He is very ??stately? and I can easily imagine him as the head of state or president of a country. He took care of the financing and had a very reassuring presence. The Sales Manager, Mr. Jerzy Czaczkowski is also great to work with. He has a engaging personality, makes you feel ??at home? and is great with customer service. In fact, I found a slight defect in the body work after purchasing the car. It was easy to miss as the car was generally in pristine condition. I brought the car in the next day and Mr. Czaczkowski said he would take care of it....no problem. And guess what? They took care of it...no problem.

Good sales people are hard to find, so don??t waste your time, simply make a ??B-line? to White Plains Certified Used Honda. I purchased a 2009 Honda CRV on June 22, and was assisted by Zeeshan Majid. I bought 2008 Honda CRV last year and wanted to refinance and he was able to lower my interest rate with a newer car. I found Zeeshan to be polite, kind and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My new 2009 CRV is great looking and I am thrilled. Yesterday was a good day for me with Zeeshan assisting me. I would definitely recommend White Plains Honda to friends.

You have lying and double talking sales persons that tried to pull a fast easy scam on me Zasheen was one of the worst people i have ever dealt with to even put his desk in front of the dealer is dissapointing. I tried to sell my honda to a honda dealer thinking i could trust them. take my words i will NEVER by a honda for the rest of my life nor will i recomend you or your company!

After visiting local dealerships on L.I., close to home, we expanded our search & found exactly the deal we were in search of, on line at White Plains Honda! The car package & price had us drive 90 miles. Needless to say, we were lost & thanks to Jersy we made it there! Awaiting our arrival was Zeehan Majid, who took time to explain the details & options. The experience I had there was so bad I filed complaints with NYS Attorney General's office, NYS Dept. of Consumer Affairs, and the Better Business Bureau. The Financial Manager attempted to deceive me by stating the extended warranty plan effected the finance rate. Then when he got caught in his lie he became belligerent. I can only hope the AG's office prosecutes them for deceptive selling practices.

I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to buy a new or certified pre-owned Honda. Zeeshan was especially nice and helpful. We came to the dealership needing an All-Wheel-Drive SUV ASAP because we were heading into the snowy TN mountains within the next week! We needed to not only buy a new car but to also turn in our Mini Cooper for a decent price. Because of the time constraints, we ended up having to stay at the dealership until way past closing, but the people at the dealership were patient and stayed at the office late with us. We were very grateful to them for taking the time necessary to sell us our new car and buy our Mini Cooper despite having to work into the late evening. They were determined to work with us. They negotiated with us, and we left very pleased with a certified pre-owned CR-V! Great experience!

White Plains Honda is the best place to get the Honda you want at a great price! I went to a few Honda dealerships with my parents before we came here. None of them were as good as this place. We bought a 2008 Honda Odyssey and it is the best vehicle we ever bought. Zeeshan Majid was the salesperson who sold us this Odyssey. If it weren't for him he wouldn't have made our experience as great as it was.

Also there was no bsing the price they said was the price we paid no hidden costs the van was in emmaculate condition an 08 beautiful van. My experience at White Plains Honda yesterday was a positive one. As soon as we arrived, we were helped right away. The 2008 Odessey EXL was very impressive and the vehicle sells itself but Zeeshan's courtesy and respect for the customer attributed to the sale, as well. He answered every question accurately and explained everything in detail. I would recommend this dealership because they will work with you on the price.

After scouring the internet looking for a bargain and driving hundreds of miles across NY and NJ and test driving 8 Accords and Civics which fit my limited budget I wound up at White Plains Honda. My salesman Bob Mancini was very courteous and professional and showed me a 2003 Accord which was in excellent condition but was priced above my budget. It was the night before Thanksgiving and I'm sure we both had better things to do than bargaining over a car. I explained to Bob that I loved the car which drove like a dream but couldn't afford it. Bob's boss Zeeshan Majid entered the picture. He was also very courteous and professional and made me feel right at home, very different from how I felt at 3 other dealerships which will remain unnamed.Well this year I really have something to be thankful for because because Bob and Zeeshan made me an offer I couldn't refuse. The car was delivered in a timely manner in perfect condition at a price that beat everything else I found on the internet.

This past July I was desperately looking for a new car to replace my dilapidated '99 Mercury Mystique whose timing belt had just broken (for the second time in a row, since having the original engine replaced for the exact same reason, withing less than a two year time span). I chanced upon the White Plains Honda on Central Avenue where I met a wonderful young gentleman by the name of Zeeshan Majid. Right from the start, Zeeshan treated me like a lifelong family member who completely understood and empathized with my situation.

Zeeshan presented me with a Honda Civic in which I felt instantaneously at home while Robert Mancini took me for a generously memorable test drive. Bill Anderson, in the meantime, watched over the proceedings with the benevolent watchful eye of a true vigilant father. I purhcased the car shortly afterward, for a very reasonable price, and have never regretted my decision.

Zeeshan and I have become very close friends since our first meeting and we keep in touch to this very day. The Honda Civic which I now drive has become my best loved and treasued car that I have ever owned in my long years of driving experience. Zeeshan does it again!!! Some people might think that after you buy a car and drive away with it then you are done and you never see the sales person who sold you the car again. Zeeshan has told me if i ever needed anything for my car to just call and asked. This is what I did. Anytime I need someting for my car or have any questions about my car Zeeshan has made it clear that he is truly here to help me no matter what it is. Big or small. Zeeshan really truely goes out of his way to make sure his customers are taken care of and are leaving with a smile when they walk out the door. Everytime, Zeeshan never fails to impress me. After leasing cars for several years, i decided to go to White Plains Honda. All of the staff i encountered were extremely pleasant, but i was fortunate to meet a wonderful sales person. From the moment we were introduced, Robin Newberger knew exactly what i was looking for, and from the first moment, Robin guided me through the process of leasing exactly the car i was looking for. She went to great efforts, but always pleasant, and most efficient. Her process of following through is very admirable and she is most professional.

I have to say that today I had an appointment at 9 am for and oilchange and some recall ,which isn't a big deal of a recall they need to reset the computer inside. Anyway they told me it would be done for 2or 3 pm ,I call them around 2:30 to see what the deal was and its like they didn't even know my car was there the service manager told me at that point it would be ready for 3 to 4 pm now. so I show up at 4 thinking maybe its done or there working on it, only to find that my car hasn't moved all day long now there telling another hour and a half. The service manager left but I'm still here

White Plains Honda has the worst customer service and least amount of professionalism. They do not stick to their words and waste customers time. I was supposed to get a response from them in one day time , however realized that the car i liked has been sold to someone else after a week. I strongly discourage people from visiting this dealer.

I visited White Plains Honda around 10AM and I have to wait for 15-20 minutes for a salesman to talk to me. The salesman was pleasant but gave me ridiculous price computation. I planned to trade-in my car but the salesman gave a way low low price for my car and started convincing me to lease instead when I was telling him that I want to buy a car. Then he gave me this very complicated computation about my monthly rate and I don't know how he came up with the numbers. I was disappointed by my visit and do not want to visit them again.

Horrible experience. Treat you like dirt if you are purchasing a lower model car!! Make you wait for hours, don't return phone calls, no follow up & didn't even both to go over the details of the car when I picked it up. All they wanted was my signature and down payment. I love my new car, however I would NEVER go back to WHITE PLAINS HONDA.

All they are doing is taking advantage all customers they are the ones who make up there own prices they care nothing about the customer what so ever. There is one person there a Mexican who will over some else deal and take the commission all for him self he is greedy. I have met the manger he is slick the way he talks and sits behind the desk with his car pricing sheet. And the staff there are greedy for money they at some one and say ??there goes another sucker? as I heard when I was there. Plus your trade in value they totally rip you off. For example if your car is wroth 6,000 they will give you only half. I would never again go to White Plains Honda.

After finding a car that I liked I have offered my price (about 20% below their sticker) to start bargaining process.
Reaction of the manager was something I did not expect.
Instead of simply rejecting my offer and/or giving a counteroffer he challenged me of my credibility and said that I was not willing to pay their price probably because I "only had $2 on my bank account".
I saw no point for further conversation and turned away.
Bottom line: stay away and find some decent place with real customer service.

Regarding my prior review of this dealership, the owner of the dealership has proposed a resolution of my complaint which he has agreed to consummate within the next several days. He sounded like he sincerely did not know the way my situation had been handled. If his proposed resolution is completed as offered, I will be very satisfied with the outcome. I just wish that the sales department had let me speak to this man for 5 minutes two months ago.

On or about 4/4/07 I contracted with White Plains Honda to buy an Odyssey EXL for delivery on 4/7/07. After getting bank check, I received a phone call on the morning of delivery advising me that my car was not there. I asked him what they did have available. They sold me the more expensive Touring Edition, which already had about 125 miles on it at the time of delivery. When I took delivery, I noticed that the glovebox was empty, and I inquired as to where the Owners manual, warranties and other pertinent information were located. The salesman assured me that I could have them on Monday. I did not receive a complete package of the same until roughly one month later, and only after numerous unreturned phone calls to the dealer and many complaints to consumer agencies. Shortly after taking delivery of the car, I noticed the interior lights did not light when the doors were opened. Also noticed, wheel made a grinding noise when being turned. On May 8, but they were unable to fix it. I brought it again 5/14 for a second try and when I picked it up, I noticed that it was still making the noise. Noise was temporarily abated later that afternoon, but, the steering wheel wasn't mounted straight. On the evening of 5/14, I had a heated discussion with the manager of the dealership; he refused to either repurchase the defective vehicle, or substitute a new vehicle in trade On 5/15 they re-mounted the steering wheel to straighten it. But now the grinding noise is coming back intermittently. I just discovered two more electrical problems with this car. It's supposed to have an auto-headlight feature. In pitch black darkness tonight, I noticed that it only turns on the yellow hazard lights, and not the headlights. Additionally, the fog lights do not light at all. This is supposed to be Honda's flagship car, and it is nothing but problems.
