The graduation on Wednesday was absolutely amazing. What a fabulous job by the staff and the kids! I loved looking at everyone's pictures, the program was adorable, the songs the kids sang were great, the teacher's words and words from the staff were amazing, it was so well organized, etc. I could go on and on. Thank you so much for making the graduation such an amazing experience. I can't believe today was the last day of school and my older son will no longer be attending Kiddie Junction for school (thankfully we get a few extra weeks with camp). We look forward to 2 more years of school and with my younger son.

Dear Kiddie Junction Staff & Teachers,
I must say - job well done! The pre-k graduation was outstanding. It was so organized and well run and it is something that will never be forgotten. It blows away a highschool graduation!! :) What a fantastic day watching the teachers and kids up on stage. The kids looked so darn cute in their caps & gowns. I loved everything about yesterday and I am very sad this day has come, but looking forward to doing it all over again with my little guy! Kiddie Junction is the best and I am so happy we became part of the KJ family in 2010!!!!!

I can't begin to say how my we love Kiddie Junction (as I like to say KJ when typing). I now have 2 kids at KJ. My oldest is in Pre-K and my youngest is in Pre-Nursery. My oldest didn't go here for Pre-Nursery and we switched for camp before Nursery. He cried every single day for his first year of school (as I said, somewhere else) and from day one in the camp he was perfectly fine. He has loved every teacher he's had and so have I. When it was time to sign my 2nd child up for school I decided to do Mommy and Me and then Slow Separation before school so that maybe we wouldn't have the same separation problems as I did with my older one. He's also loved all his teachers and in his summer mommy and me class the teacher we had turned out to be my son's nursery teacher and I was so ecstatic because we loved her over the summer and fell in love with her even more during the school year with my older son. My younger son was great over the summer and has now been having some separation issues and the teachers for his class have been nothing but amazing with him. They've been doing special things with him to try and get him over the separation and crying so he'll walk in on his own. They make it so easy for me to leave even though I know he's been upset.

We've had some teachers a few times, others for a school year, some for one session with mommy and me or slow separation and then others just for the summer camp. We have not had a single teacher that we didn't love.

The office staff is also amazing. They make you feel comfortable when you walk in the door, look after your kids and love them just as much as the teachers do.

This school makes sure that all of the employees are qualified and caring. There was a girl over this past summer who took my oldest for his picture and I swear he ended up with a crush on her (she was a counselor in a different class). She left for college in September and he is still talking about her, asks if I know how she is and if she likes school. Please realize this is all from talking to a little kid while you walked him down the hall for a picture so it was minutes. This is because they care.

In response to the comments to my former reviews, I would like to stress that I would not have taken my child out of Kiddie Junction if it wasn't necessary. "Outlandish" no, true..Yes! My child's teacher used to get red faced and yell at these three yr old children for doing things such as, singing a halloween song when halloween was over, or swinging there legs lightley under the table during snack time. One time my child was not listening too well, which I thought was normal when your 3, and she told my child to sit in a chair alone while she "sat with her friends"..I guess my child wasn't her friend. This teacher doesn't belong in a nursery school, mayble middle school would be better. I have nothing to gain from writing this, but that was my childs first school experience, and it still hurts to this day. She hurt my childs feelings many times, and used to tell me she thought my child had a "sensory problem" because when she would go to touch my child, my child would move back..maybe my child felt her nastiness! My child is now in elementary school, in chorus, band, a goodwill embassador and does fantastic academically. My child is outgoing, polite and has many friends and is a happy healthy child. Not all reviews of this school are good, which should tell you something. Good luck to the parents whos children go here, I hope your teachers don't have too many mood swings.. Also, maybe these teachers should try to stop diagnosing children at 3 yrs old, and telling there parents they might have dreadfull problems after only 2 week of classes. Maybe just some teachers are "burnt out" and should retire. I am not making this up because I am bored, I consulted with my peds and two child psychologists, who told me to take my child out of kiddie Junction Bootcamp!

I am very happy with Kiddie Junction. My daughter has been attending KJ for two years and I am very pleased with her teachers, teacher assistants, the curriculum, and safety. The program is fun, clean, safe, and friendly. Most importantly my daughter LOVES it!

I am shocked by some of these reviews of Kiddie Junction. I do not have a child who attends there nor do I have any vested interest in this school, however I was a SEIT there for several years. A SEIT is a special education itinerant teacher who is not paid by the school and does not receive any type of compensation from the school.

I have worked in many preschools and I consider Kiddie junction one of the best. The teachers care about their students, provide a fun and stimulating appropriate learning environment. I have worked with Ms. Debbie, Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Linda. I am there when the parents leave and the doors close and I have never witnessed anything even remotely questionable.

Presently I am not working in the school building.

Honestly the style of writing and language among the three bad reviews makes them sound like they are written by the same parent. Many parents become irate when they hear there child may need services, but it takes a good teacher to speak up. Way worse when a teacher is unsure about a student and does NOTHING to help.

My three children have all attended Kiddie Junction from Pre-Nursery through Pre-K, as well as summer camp. I was appalled to read some of the negative reviews. A few of them sound like they were written by the same person, and the things that they are saying are so outlandish! I was very sorry to hear that Miss Debbie will not be returning to Kiddie Junction this year. It makes me wonder if it has something to do with all the terrible (and untrue) things that have been maliciously written about her on this forum. My son had Miss Debbie a few years ago when he was three year old class, and he had a wonderful year. He loved her! He NEVER brought home worksheets. He brought home lots of art projects, and he learned a lot about colors and shapes and concepts. I don??t think the person that wrote this review ever sent a child to Kiddie Junction! The people in the office are very caring and concerned. I have a lot of friends that also send their children to Kiddie Junction, and everyone always remarks about how caring and responsive the office staff is whenever there is a concern. To say that the office ignored complaints from parents does not seem possible. We are so glad that our children have had the opportunity to attend such a wonderful, safe, caring pre-school! I hope that other families don??t miss this opportunity because of some obviously false claims by malicious people.

My daughter just went to camp here for 2010. I did not like the way they pack as many children as possible in one classroom. It was not a great experience having children who clearly did not want to be there crying to leave being forced by parents to stay, this happened daily and seemed unfair to fellow campers who are too young to understand. Teachers had to focus energy on crying three/four year olds who were again forced by parents, taking attention from other campers. A nice school with caring staff but 16/17 kids in one room seemed too packed when there is limited outdoor play which I did not like. The Fall School year seems to be better with 12-14 per class.

I have been part of the kiddie junction family since 2007. My oldest attended a mommy and me, slow separation, nursery and camp. Recently, I started a slow separation class with my 2 year old who is also enrolled in the fall for nursery school. My kids have had a lot of different teachers in the school and while I may have liked some more than others, my kids have loved, been supported and nurtured by all their teachers.

My oldest ended up at a different school for pre-k due to a district program and we didn't have a choice of schools. It really made me appreciate the extra things that they do at Kiddie Junction. Starting school is a special time for children and can produce anxiety for parents wondering if the transition into school is going to be easy. Kiddie junction includes parents in this process. We aren't just dropping off our children like bakery goods, we are involved in the social development and education of our children. After each class, the teacher comes out and tells parents what they did, what they ate, the activity and the books they read. This was especially nice since my daughter does not freely provide me with any information!

The teachers and staff welcome you with a smile, are always available for questions and get to know you and your family. When I came back after leaving for a year, they remembered me as if they had just seen me. I have to agree with another reviewer here, I am so grateful that Kiddie Junction exists!

My daughter attends the summer camp program an she loves it!!! The staff is so wonderful and kind to the children and they really keep the parents informed on what the children are learning each day. Each day seems to be filled with learning, play time and great social interactions. I noticed that there were a few bad reviews on this website. Aftr reading all three of them, it seemed as if they were all written by the same parent!! It sounded like she preferred more of a day care center rather than a school setting. If you want your child to learn in a hands on and creative environment, check out Kiddie Junction. We are so happy that we sent our daughter here. We feel that she will be fully prepared for Kindergarten.

The Kiddie Junction family has been a wonderful part of our family for 10 years now. Each of my 3 children started at Kiddie Junction with Mommy & Me and went straight through Pre-K with camp every Summer there. WE LOVE KIDDIE JUNCTION!!!! Everyone there is caring and helpful. From the second you walk in with the warm hello...knowing your name and each of your children's names,...you feel that your children are their priority!! I believe that Kiddie Junction was instrumental in preparing my children for Kindergarten (both socially and academically). I HIGHLY recommend Kiddie Junction to all parents!!!

I NEVER write reviews of anything, but I feel like I must write a review of this horrible place to save you some money and heartache! My son was a student in Miss Debbie's class. It seemed like from the first day she already had her favorites. I think these kids and their moms were in her toddler class the previous year. Right away she began complaining to me about my son. He doesn't do this or he does that. She had no tact and she upset me every time I came to pick-up my son. This was supposed to be a happy time for me and my son and this woman ruined it! I felt judge and humiliated by her. She never offered any help! She just picked, picked, picked my son apart, My son had never been in any type of school before and he wasn't even three yet! Finally, she pulls me in after class one day with the obnoxious director and tells me I needed to have my son evaluated. I asked why, and they were both very illusive. Again, I left in tears. I was worried sick about my son for weeks and weeks. The way these two women were talking to me I thought my son had some serious disability. Anyway, I had him evaluated and he did not have anything seriously wrong with him. He had a minor delay which has since resolved itself. Honestly, I felt like they couldn't deal with my son there because he wasn't a "perfect" child. I pulled him out and I haven't had any issues since.
On another note, this school, and expecially Miss Debbie are just too task oriented. She would come out after class and show us a stack of dittos and projects these three year-olds completed. They were only there for 3 hours! When did they play? I think she thought this was impressive, but I found it horrifying! These are little kids! I think they should be running around and playing. They have their whole lives to work!

Kiddie Junction Pre-School & Camp is a wonderful place for children. Every parent that I know loves the school! Sometimes children are not ready for school, and their parents blame the school. Everyone that I recommend Kiddie Junction to thanks me - the children are well taken care of. The parents are treated with respect. Miss Susan knows everyone's name and greets everyone with a smile. I have looked at the other pre-schools in the area, and there is no comparison. I am so thankful that Kiddie Junction exists!

I am not speaking on behalf of the school itself, but there are some teachers in this school that should be reconsidered. My child was in a class for only a few months before I removed him/her. This particular teacher was very rude and played favorites. It was a pre nursery class with young children (most still babies if you ask me) and if a teacher does not have the patience she should not be teaching a class like this. I had seen the teacher after I removed my child a few times, and not once did she inquire why the child was removed or even showed that she cared. If you ask me, teachers like this make a bad name and reputation for the school. Due to this, I DO NOT RECOMMEND KIDDIE JUNCTION TO ANYONE!!

I along with Debbie I came across this website by searching and have to agree with her. This is my 4th year with Kiddie Junction and we love it. Miss Debbie is one of our favorite teachers. Not only does she get to know your child, she knows your family. My son has gone into Kindergarten and is above his academic level because of Miss Debbie. We are again now in a pre k program and my youngest son can not wait to get to school. Not only is he learning, he is ENJOYING it! Along with friendly, nurturing teachers, the staff at Kiddie Junction makes it easy for our kids to learn.

I was searching the web and came across this review page for Kiddie Junction and I was totally taken back by the negative review left of the school and especially about Miss Debbie. I have been in this school since 2005 with my children and I have to disagree completely with Asha V's review. My children have had most of all the teachers in KJ, and I have found them all very good, but by far I believe that Miss Debbie (who I have had for nursery, summer & Pre-k) goes above & beyond. Miss Debbie is the most nurturing, caring, understanding and personable person, let alone teacher, I have ever met. Miss Debbie not only teaches your child academics but also teaches your child about being a good person and in my opinion carries over the family values & morals I teach my child at home. SHE IS THE BEST !I also can go on & on about other great teachers/assistant teachers as well, to name a few, Miss Margaret, Miss Evelyn, Miss Joanne, Miss Cynthia. As well as the GREAT office staff who greets you , Miss Sue, Miss Dorothy, Miss Lee. Over the many years I have been at KJ, I cannot ever remember any of them being unpleasant, they always have a smile to greet you, and greet you by name as well. My children have had a wonderful experience with KJ, and I am very sad to say this is my last year here. I know my children & myself will be making visits back to the many wonderful people, especially to their most favorite - Miss Debbie.

Every other review of this school is positive and so is mine. The teachers and staff are loving and patient with all the children. I would highly recommend this school, its reputation should speak for itself.

This school is absolutely amazing! My son goes to Kiddie Junction during the afternoon for Universal Pre-K. His teacher Miss. Jennifer is caring, fun and always has a smile on her face. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to learn in a fun, safe, and caring environment.

I would not recommend this school. The teachers are very rude. They dont smile and dont seem to care about the kids. Miss Debbie is the worst! No smiles! She ignores your child if they want to talk to her- she is so focused on the specific task of the day-and not getting to know your child! I am disappointed with the Pre-K program- all the students seem to do is skill and drill- no room for creativity or nurturing the individual talents and skills of the child- their efforts to nurture the social- emotional level of development is very weak- I have two other friends who have also removed their children due to their lack of patience and understanding of diverse learners.

My mind has changed about this school drastically. I had a positive experience with my 1st child but the experience with my second child has forever scarred my opinion of this school. My child at 2 1/2 yrs old told me his teacher hit him. Of course she denied it and I ignored it until 2 years later when a parent of a student in the same class told me his daughter claimed this teacher hit her too. That is beyond scary when two small kids come to their parents and claim a teacher is hitting them and nothing is done about it. I did approach the teacher about this when it happened and of course she denied it. I took her word for it and I never reported the hitting to hire-ups. But soon after I approached her she was making untrue claims of my son's behavior and also claimed he needed to be evaluated. Well of course I knew there was nothing wrong but I got the evaluations anyway to prove a point. As suspected by me, he was PERFECTLY normal. This was the teacher's revenge on a 2/12 yr old. He is now entering Pre-K and he excels at the top of his classes both academically and behaviorally, what a "shock." But I am writing this now because it was only recently that I found out another student had been hit. The parents did report it to hire-ups and nothing was done. I believe that this teacher is still there. That is very scary!!

this is a cute pre school and camp that will take
toddlers still wearing diapers, which many schools will not do.
they have a flexible schedule available and nice
separation classes
