Leekan Designs is one of the coolest stores in New York. When you first stepped into the store, you will be stunned by the countless unique items from all over the world, particularly items from Asia. It is also the ultimate source of inspirations of artists and jewelry makers as Leekan carries all kinds of beads, gems, crystal pendents...you name it! I can definitely spend hours and hours at Leekan Designs without getting bored, there are always new discoveries. A must-go for tourists as well as locals. Highly recommended. And the staffs are helpful and friendly too.

This store was amazing! I've never seen such a wide selection of unusual beads! My husband and I both designed a bracelet on stretchy cord, which we wear everyday! The staff were really helpful and had all the stories behind some of the most amazing things from around the world!They even have a bat-tooth necklace from Papua New guinea! On the Lower East Side of NY. Very cool location. We'll definitely be going again!

These kinds of places are hard to find. I wanted an old alter table and found one here in perfect condition, from China, 19th century. They have some buddha heads and old African fetish statues in the window. Inside there is everything from magnifying glasses to snuff bottles to beads for making jewelry. My girlfriend had a ball making her own necklace out of old trade glass and carved bone beads. very cool spot.

The beads at this store I have never seen anywhere else. Old African trade beads and silver. They also sell the cord so you can put together your own stuff. Plus, there are really cool and unusual items for gifting. This is a great place to go when you want to walk out with something no one else has. I love the hand-woven handbags from Thailand and the silk scarves. I definitely recommend thisbead/gift/import bazaar!!

This is the type of store you can only find in New York City. It sells Asian style antique and hand made household goods with everything being of top quality. Here you can make your apartment truly unique and do it without breaking the bank. The items that Leekan Designs sells are not low quality Pier-1 types of imports but really unique and fun stuff. Its worth a look!
