I bought a nice white buttercream cake for my birthday. Service was fast and efficient. Cake was beautiful and sooooo light. The buttercream isnt overbearing, greasy or salty like i've tasted before. Also they offer coffee, tea and other hot beverages which I thought was very nice because it provides a cafe feel to it. I would recommend them definetly!

Great birthday cakes, for kids and adults. If you order from Ladybird, you won't be disappointed. My kids always enjoy going to visit friends who live on 15th St, as we often walk right by and they like to peer into the glass case at the cupcakes. (The tiny ones, while expensive, no doubt, are well-sized for a child!) Happy eating.

Great cakes and great service. Counting the time of 2 Little Red Hens, they have made more birthday cakes for us than I'd care to calculate. They haven't ever disappointed in terms of timely preparation or quality. This fact tends to justify the somewhat expensive price.

Formerly Two Little Red Hens, Lady Bird is a great place for last-minute Birthday cake purchases, especially if you get there before 1 PM - the staff told me most cakes are gone by then so there's still some left but not as much variety. They have neat little 4-slice cakes great for little kids if the birthday is on a weekday and they still have to wait for their big party.

We go there everyday for breakfast or afternoon sweets. The service is as sweet as its cakes. Don't miss warm biscuits in the morning!

After reading the reviews on various blogs about this bakery, i visited it this weekend. If you do not live in the neighhborhood, then it is not worth the trip. There is practically no space to sit, let alone stand. The cupcakes, (while they are a generous portion) are all kept chilled!!! The weather was nice this weekend, but a cold cupcake???? I think that the coldness threw me off from really tasting/enjoying the cupcake. There are average priced cupcakes and then there were $4 cupcakes????

in my opinion they are so many other places to visit with offer better atmosphere (there is no atmosphere here as there is nowhere to sit) and there are much better cupcakes to be eaten elsewhere

This is a little gem in Park Slope. Their Brooklyn blackout cake is definitely a must try for chocolate lovers. Very rich, but hits the spot! Their red velvet cup cakes with cream cheese frosting are yummy too. Excellent service, tasty coffee, delicious desserts....perfect!

These is one of those nice local business. Conviniently located on 8th Avenue, this place is also packed with people. Specially the friendly organic fellows. Very nice place to get a few baked goods, in particular, cakes and deserts. A bit expensive, but worth the price.

With its gourmet baked goods and cosy neighborhood charm Two Little Red Hens makes for one of the best places for dessert in Brooklyn.
Any of their desserts are the perfect finish to a picnic lunch in the park or a Romantic Dinner at home.
Their Brooklyn Blackout Cake is a chocolate lovers dream and the Key Lime Tart is crisp and refreshing.
And though these rich, high quality confections dont come cheap, they are worth it. Treat yourself!
