So after reading all these (now apparently fake) reviews on other sites that i got sucked in to making an appointment 3 weeks in advance to see Aric. I show up a little early cause usually theres paperwork to fill out, plus i wanted to warm up so im not all frozen getting on the massage table. I get there and the place is barren, no lights, no life, noone there, closed door. So i think maybe he is with another client and the receptionist stepped out or whatever. I wait 10 min...15 min nothing! I call the number, someone picks up and tells me im his first client he'll be there shortly, meanwhile when i called to schedule the appt i was told i couldnt get an earlier time slot cause he's "booked" = first lie and shady maketing scheme to make people think he's "that good" anyway, i wait another 20min! i call the number again, they tell me they let him know im waiting that that he'll be there soon, so im livid at this point and frozen cold from waiting outside. i ask her to cancel my appointment and not bill me casue this is extremely uncomforting and unprofessional for something like this to happen , she tells me "well theres othing i can help you with, you will be billed, cause he will be there" i hang up cause obviously i was getting messed with. its now past my appointment time, i get a message from Aric saying hes there and that the table is waiting for me, how RUDE!!! i have never experience this form of carelessness in a business before where a client is forced to sit outside while the therapist is late and their "offsite phone service operators" can offer no help so ur stranded and get billed for absolute aggravation! needless to say i could not possibly enjoy a massage after all that, i walked away and will make sure noone i know EVER goes there, shady and real dissapointing!

Over the last few years, I have been prescribing massage therapy more and more to my patients. Before going to get a massage with Aric, thanks to all of your reviews, I have only had a few of massages, at hotels, my wife had two therapists come over for our anniversary to do a "couples massage". But I didn't get "a massage"......

This was true craftsmanship. Aric Friedman is a true manual clinician, a diagnostician and a true "bodyworker". His knowledge of anatomy is quite impressive, and his use of that knowledge is really pure genius. I don't give praise easy. But as a Doctor, myself, I am on my feet all day, and I have had an ankle problem for the last 7-8 years. The problem and pain was gone in one session. So I went back for a full body session, for an hour and a half, and I feel great. No more aches and pains. I am drinking less coffee because I am not as tired as I was. And I shoot some hoops on the weekend, and even that improved, from my flexibility to the increased amount of time that I can now play without pain and exhaustion.

Now that I see him, I stopped seeing my acupuncturist and my chiro. I don't need it. A true "healer/therapist" for the 21st century!

I have been going to Forest Hills Massage Therapy for a couple of months now. While the reviews I find are accurate, there is one thing that nobody has mentioned. I just hit 50 and the major thing that I noticed after the second session is that my sex drive went through the roof! It improved more after the third and has stayed great. My wife is so happy she is going to buy me ten more sessions!

I think it is because I have so much more energy, and so much less stress. Also, I don't know if this was mentioned but the first massage is nothing short of brutal! You can tell while it is happening that it is going to be good for you. You can feel the muscles release. But holy smokes, it is painful. The second time, not so much, and now I find most of the massage fairly pleasurable, but if you decide to do this, be prepared!

I have been using Aric, but he assures me that the other therapists do the same type of work. I don't use my viagra anymore, but I am thinking of taking a yoga class to become more flexible. Who knew that massage could do this, or am I the only one?

I have suffered with TMJ and associated headaches and migraines for at least a decade now. Before living in NYC, I had a massage therapist that helped me greatly. After moving, I was hesitant about finding someone new. No one was going to replace my old massage therapist! Then I fell into a year long acute phase of TMJ.

I found Evelyn Perez. Over the past months, she helped to bring me through and past my TMJ crisis. If you had asked me 6 months ago if I though someone could fix me, I would have said no; but Evelyn healed me.

She is kind and caring. Prompt and professional. I truly recommend Forest Hill Massage Therapy.

I think this is a perfect description of Aric Friedman and Evelyn Perez LMTs because they are like superheroes. I also think they work complementary to each other. Aric is very deep, but he warms the muscles up and goes in gradually so I don??t see why people are complaining. I have read up a lot on the various healing arts and I can only assume that certain people have had traumatic childhoods or events that get stored in their muscles (muscle memory). And as Aric goes deeper it just gets uncomfortable and maybe it is subconscious, but people just don??t like it. Maybe, subconsciously, or consciously it brings back bad memories. Or maybe they just feel it as pain, but it is so much more, and they are not aware. But I loved it! I did feel discomfort, but like the expression goes, it ??Hurt so good!?

Evelyn??s massage is completely different. You can??t really compare their massages either. It??s like apples and oranges! Each one brings something different to the table {pun intended}. Her massages remind me when I was in Japan and getting massage from these blind female healers. I forget the Japanese term for them. She is so intuitive, and gives off an incredible healing vibe. You can feel it in her hands. Some might only perceive the heat coming from her hands, but she is incredible because once the massage is over you feel great, sleep great, and I have had very intense dreams the night after her massages.

I firmly believe that each one of their massages complements each other, and having one without the other would be incomplete. What I am doing and what I suggest is that you use both of them. For me, because of my tight muscles and out of aligned spine, I will go see Aric for the first few sessions. Then I will regularly see Evelyn and go back to Aric every so often for a tune up, or maintenance as he puts it. He explained it very well and told me that I didn??t need to come in every week, or even two, if my muscles were healthy (not being tight and having good circulation). He also explained that I should come back before the pain comes back. This is simply the definition of ??preventative medicine?. You want to prevent the pain from coming back.

Once I feel better. I will see Evelyn on a regular basis, because massage once a week, or every other week has been proven to do amazing things. I have done a lot of reading on the subject mainly because I love getting massage and getting out of pain! I was reading the reviews below and formulated this plan of using both of them. I really believe, I know, this will be a winning combination, I already feel so much better after only receiving a couple of treatments. I plan on buying their largest package, so I can save the most money, because I will be making this a life long endeavor. And I urge anyone reading this to call up Forest Hills Massage Therapy right away and make an appointment, or at least call them to get more information. If you feel the need read the other reviews, go right ahead but I just finished reading all of them, and they all say pretty much the same thing. How great the therapists are (Aric, Evelyn and I believe they have a few others). Just make the call, go for a session. You won??t be sorry, you will be rejuvenated, and feel younger than you??ve felt in years! And it will make your pain be a thing of the past. If this doesn??t convince you then read the other reviews or just get a massage from them!

I have to say, that I am skeptical in reading these online reviews, b/c you never know who writes them. But after all of these great reviews, I not only had to check out Forest Hills Massage Therapy, but as an Orthopedic surgeon, I have been referring people to Aric Friedman, LMT for the last 6 years. I have personally seen people come into my office needing surgery, according to AMA guidelines (American Medical Association), then going to see Aric, and coming back to me and then not meeting the criterion for surgery. Is he a miracle worker? You all need to see him to be the judge, but on a medical level, he works with muscles, tendons and bone placement. He reminds me of the ancient healers that we studied briefly in medical school (I went to Tufts).

I don't want to say this, as a "medical professional" but unfortunately, we really have no clue, or a vague notion of what to do with musculo-skeletal disorders. Aric Friedman, LMT, is a master and should be considered for a Doctorate in this field, because he understands anatomy much better than my best professor in medical school, and he knows how to apply this knowledge to help people, to really help them. I am not a religious man, but dare I say the words, "heals them!".

First, for me it was a referral situation. I have referred him over a dozen patients, all whom needed surgery. Not one of them went under the knife, and all of them have returned back to normal lifestyles, without the surgery, and most of them boast that they feel better than before their injuries, and they are all active in sports and in their home lifesss (picking up their children, doing construction etc.....).

Now on to myself. I am a very successful surgeon, I know the best of the best here in NYC, and all agreed that I needed surgery. So....being that I really don't believe in surgery unless their is no other option (and I do tell my patients this,as well, I am not a hypocrite - I consider myself a very fair and considerate doctor!) I was assessed by as many doctors as I could get my hands on. I had cervical (neck) compression. Herniations and bulges throughout the 7 cervical vertebrae. Within the first session, Mr. Friedman was able to relax the muscles in the neck (splenius capitus, cervicus etc.) which was beyond extremely painful. But he did do it as delicately as possible. After that, he put a towel under my neck (I was face up) he applied compression, using medium pressure, and then it happened, my neck released and I heard all of these popping/adjustng sounds. Now I have been to Chiropractors, and they pulled and yanked, but Aric just had to apply decompression and because of the way he was able to loosen the muscles the vertebrae actually decompressed all by themselves. It was a genius move. I am forever in his debt!

He did similar things to my low back and hips, and I am now a regular, I see him every two weeks. I have been lifting weights. Heavy weights. I jog, no let me correct that, I run, fast, for about 10 to 20 miles a day. I also practice yoga, and I have no pain. Wherever you look online for a good "healer" or "massage therapist" or "rolfer", Aric Friedman's name will be there with good reason. As people have mentioned, it is painful during the massage, but it is definitely worth it for the results. If you are in pain, Aric Friedman can get you out of it. I can guarantee it!

So, I found the most wonderful massage therapist at Forest Hills Massage Therapy (718-793-6072). Her name is Evelyn Perez and she has hands that can work miracles. She helped me stay healthy for the 2008 NYC marathon and without her I would not have had such a successful race (3:42 for my first marathon!). And I am one that can judge a great massage from a bad one- I ran track for four years at a Division I university and had access to high quality massages. But I must say that she provided better treatment with more variety of techniques (i.e., sports massage, relaxation, flushing, stretching) than I have ever had. I think a lot of this comes from her background in nursing and her intense training at the Swedish Institute in Manhattan. It was amazing how, without me telling her, she could find areas on my body that were bothering me- very intuitive therapist that provides individualized treatment. What is even better is that she is a great person- extremely sweet, caring, supportive, and dedicated to her clients. I would recommend her to anyone that wants quality treatment with personalized care. Go Evelyn!

I work out al lot so a friend of mine told me about Forest HIlls Massage Therapy. My Therapist was Evelyn and WOW! This girl really knows what she's doing! I had a great deep tissue massage and she was very knowledgeable about the body. She also incorporated some helpful stretches in her massage. I can't tell you how great I felt the next day. I also couldn't believe how strong she was. This place is the best kept secret in Queens and it's not hard to get to at all. I highly recommend Forest Hills Massage Therapy to anyone looking for a great massage and outstanding therapists.

After reading all these reviews, I just had to see what the commotion was about. Aric was really great - he must have cracked every joint in my body! Evelyn was sooooo wonderful - after her massage, I felt like a new woman - nothing could faze me in that state of relaxation. Their draping techniques are also wonderful, and made me feel very safe. If you're looking for joint-cracking or deep, deep tissue work, Aric is the guy. If you're looking for a combination of deep-tissue and really relaxing Swedish/shiatsu work, Evelyn is the best - I actually fell into a deep sleep! Ahhh.......

I have a 12 year old daughter with Chron's Disease. In addition to Chron's, my daughter has had many congenital problems thru the years that I, and my husband, who is an MD himself, believe contributed to the Chron's. My daughter is a great spirit, but the scarring on her body left her very self conscious, plus she has follow an incredibly strict diet or the Chron's acts up. I had heard great things about Aric Friedman LMT from some dancer n yoga friends but being that he is in Queens and we live in Manhattan, I didn't bother. But then my daughter got worse, she was getting the symptoms of Tetanus and had extreme muscle rigidity. I immediately contacted Forest Hills Massage Therapy. It took a few days for Aric to get back to me, but now that we are in his schedule, I understand why, he is extremely busy and much sought out. Once he finally called he was so patient, and understanding and wanted to know many things. Some seemed a bit strange but he explained that it had to do with Chinese Medicine (like her favorite color of clothes that she buys, if she eats sweet foods, or salty etc.). He also was, by far, the most professional and made my daughter feel the most comfortable out of any doctor that she has seen. He first explained that if she is under 18, she must have a parent accompany her in the room. He explained how she would be covered at all times. This is very important for me esp. being that I have had doctors not only look at my daughter inappropriately, but even touch her inappropriately! He is amazing with her, she lights up when she has to go for her treatment. He started with massage, but he sits down before each session and talks to her. He explained the nature of healing and how the body heals itself. He taught her how to meditate, as well, and her Chron's has been in remission for close to a year. I sit in the room with them, so I participate. So far, I also learned Chi Gung, Kabala Bati (spelling?), head stand pose/yoga postures and chanting.

Pros: The most un-believable treatment you can receive

Cons: sometimes it's hard to get an appointment but def worth the wait

Aric Friedman is the BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST IN NEW YORK ! I am 47 years old, I have been around, you know. I have had massages in Thailand, Mainland China, Japan. I was formerly in the military and my body has suffered some major traumas. Within the first three sessions with Aric all of my chronic pain was gone. This is nothing short of a miracle, being that I had broken bones now being held together with steel plates. I have shrapnel that has never been able to be removed causing me debilitating pain. I feel great for the first time in years. I have tried every type of therapy and this therapy that he does, some advanced deep tissue therapy (I can never remember exactly what he says, but he will be happy to explain it to you!) using eastern techniques, works wonders. If you are in chronic pain, stop going to doctors, stop taking pills, stop reading books. Go see Aric Friedman. If you don't, then just get used to living your life in pain.

Pros: Great Massage! Quiet relaxing atmosphere/ambience, near mass transit, open late hours

I couldn't believe everyone's reviews about Forest Hills Massage Therapy, so I had to try it myself. Amazing. Incredible. Unbelievable. Life changing. Shall I go on? Anyone who reads this might be skeptical, as I was, but it is true, Aric Friedman, is just simply amazing. First off, how the heck does he know so much about the human body, nutrition, soul and spirit and massage therapy? The guy looks pretty young. Now I never believed too much in a God before, but if he/she exists, he definitely talks thru Aric's hands. I have been healed of some pretty serious injuries. Some of them emotional. Now being that you won't ever find out who I am I will share this experience. During the second session (I also bought a package - I got the 15 sessions, and it is so worth it!), he mentioned to me that he felt some deep seated emotional tension, and asked me about my relationship with my father. My father had passed away almost 20 years ago. He started to massage my abdomen, which was incredibly uncomfortable. Once he was thru with that area, I was shivering, no, more like shaking and I didn't know why. He finished the session, and I didn't feel so great. I went right home to my apartment, when I got in I put my keys on the table right at the front door next to a picture of my dad and me, and I looked at it, really looked at it for the first time in years. I got very dizzy, and fell to my knees, I put my head between my legs and I was crying, more like wailing for over an hour. Now I am a former body builder, with a current career in law enforcement. A man's man if you will. The only time that I ever remember crying was at my father's funeral. As I was crying so many feelings and emotions went thru me, especially that of my 6 year old daughter (whom I see on weekends). It was amazingly cathartic. When I stopped I hopped into bed and slept for about 16 hours. I woke up like a new man. And my sessions with Aric have been better, my muscles are looser, and i feel great!

I recently received my first massage at Forest Hills Massage Therapy, from Aric Friedman, and it was such an incredible experience that I wanted to share it. He really was able to loosen up muscles and realign joints that I wasn't even aware I had. And I studied anatomy! I have traveled to many places, and received many massages, and I have to say that this is the most unique combination of techniques that I have seen yet. He was able to find tension in obscure muscles that was the root of my neck and back problems. Most massages relieve the tension for a day or two, but I am going on two weeks with no pain. He found tension in my feet, my lats and areas underneath my shoulder pain (including all of the standard areas) and my pain is gone, and I feel incredible.

One of the best things to come out of it is sleep. I can sleep a full 8 hours. Before I would sleep a few hours then toss and turn. Now I sleep 8 hours every night (if I can get it). And it is a restful deep sleep. The one set back for some people is that it is very deep (not as deep as rolfing) and I assume that anyone would be sore for a day or two afterwards. Aric said that after a few massages there would be very little soreness (I bought a group of sessions - it is worth it). If you like massage or have neck or back pain (or ankle or knee or elbow pain etc.) you need to try Forest Hills Massage Therapy, I can guarantee that it is different and more effective from anything that you have ever tried.

I found Aric in Brooklyn! It was a complete coincidence. I heard about this great acupuncturist named Layla who worked out of a doctor's office in Brooklyn Heights. I happened to go on a Wednesday. I got the acupuncture and felt much better. Then I inquired about their other services and they said they had massage (for $1 per minute). So I figured I would try it out. The massage therapist was Aric Friedman. And he was fantastic. I never experienced anything like what he does. It is a conglomeration of many techniques and he mends them together seamlessly in his work. I had no idea who he was when getting the massage. I asked for his card, and he gave it to me letting me know he only works there (Brooklyn) on Wednesdays and the rest of the week he is in Forest Hills.

After the session I went home, checked out his website, then googled him and found out that he is relatively famous in the healing biz. So I figured I should chime in and let everyone (esp. in Brooklyn) know that they can experience him right here in Brooklyn! And it is definitely worth it. A few things though. Unless you do 30 minutes with him he works thru the clothes (which is good but not as great as him working with cream- I had him switch to cream after 5 minutes). He also usually won't do more than 30 minutes being that it is a busy doctors office. Also, he is only there on Wednesdays, I think. Here is their number 718-237-4400. It is at 175 Remsen Street, room 1103.

Don't know if you ever heard of a writer named Charles Bukowski, well....I am his great granddaughter. Unfortunately, I never met him, but I am his biggest fan. This really makes my mom mad, and a host of other family members. But what I love most about my great grandpa is that he was real. He lived his life the way he wanted, he was homeless, even, but he was true to himself. I love when I see this in people, which is so very rare. Aric Friedman, LMT is one of those people. While he isn't like my great grandpa in all ways, he is a healer, he doesn't pretend to be, or try to be, which I find often in most "massage therapists". I have moved around the country my whole life. I have lived in Florida, Wyoming, Seattle, Northern & Southern California, Arizona to name a few. I have received massage in all of these states (and a few other states-don't wanna bore everyone with a list) and Mr. Friedman, or is it Dr. Friedman? is by far, better than the best of anyone i have ever been to. Mainly because he just is! I know this sounds vague, and I bring up my great grandpa because for those of you who know his work (or listen to the Red Hot CHili Peppers- they love him and mention him in there songs!) will have a greater understanding of what I am talking about. He isn't pretending, he isn't being a great massage therapist, or I should really say "healer", to prove something to anyone. If he ever graces you with the story of his life, you will be amazed at all of the other things he accomplished, in addition to studying with all of the masters of healing. He also has read my great grandfather's work which impressed me, being that my gg was very vulgar and quite disgusting, not someone that you would picture being read by a master healer! He (Aric) followed his true calling, which is a very hard thing to do.

Cons: has a booking service that is sometimes cumbersome, but very friendly & helpful

One thing that may not be important for some, esp. if you are a man, is feeling comfortable, especially when you are undressed being covered only by a towel. I am a fairly attractive woman, and I love massage, and I can't tell you how many times I have gotten asked out, touched inappropriately etc... I went to Forest Hills Massage Therapy after reading all of your rave reviews. I was a bit surprised being that it is smaller than I imagined (but really cute and homey!). I took a very late appointment so there was no secretary sitting at the front desk. I walked in and I saw Aric, he had a beard. He was well groomed but I felt a little uncomfortable. He sensed this right away and asked if there was something wrong. I let him know my feelings and he was such a gentleman about it, giving me options ranging from having his girlfriend sit in on the session to rescheduling during the daytime. I immediately felt safe, went on with the massage and this is what I want to tell everyone. He was so professional. His draping techniques (covering me with the sheet and towel) were so comforting. I was given a big blanket that covered my body completely, then he wrapped the sheet from under me around my body (I looked like a quesadilla). I felt so secure, like a baby must feel when it is wrapped. He uncovered only the body part that he was working on and the rest of me was completely draped. Out of all of the therapists I have ever been to, he has made me feel the safest, and the way he spoke to me was very respectful, I couldn't believe that a male being, here on planet earth, could be so understanding of the female psyche. And the massage, well... it is like everyone says, the man is genius with his hands. An incredible experience overall. When the session was thru I went out of the room and bought his 15 session package. And I plan on buying gift certificates for all of my friends! Hope this is helpful.

Dr. Aric Friedman (a title that he rightfully deserves), is one of a kind. I am telling you all this so that you can get a session with him before he is inaccessible to all of us. Have you heard of Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, John Upledger, Gary Null etc.... Dr. Friedman will soon join the ranks of these healers. I am a publicist, I know. He is just as genuine, and the real deal. Soon he will write a book, or be asked to, become famous and then the best we will be able to do is get his signature and not his healing work. His energy level is something rarely seen, esp. living in NYC. After a 5 minute conversation with him about my problems and I felt better, no let me rephrase that, he made me feel better. He has both book knowledge and practical knowledge, and what appears to be a 6th sense in finding the pain and problems in your body. Anyone who reads this should be picking up the phone and making an appointment. Remember do it while you can, don't put it off. Don't wallow in your own pain, you don't have to live like that. Most of all, get ready for an experience of a life time.

Pros: Best bodywork/healing session around, yes you can park with permit, very inexpensive for what u get

Cons: I fear he won't be around much longer, or someone will convince him to charge triple

I don't use the internet much,so I pulled out my yellow pages about a month ago,and I looked up physical therapy.I recently had a hip replacement, and this humid weather is wreaking havoc on my body. I have ultracet and vicodin, but it wasn't making a dent in my pain relief. I also suffer from osteoarthritis and I have herniated discs from a automobile accident in the early 80's. I'm a real mess, right? So I call up Forest Hills Massage Therapy, and the therapist, Aric, had an opening that day (which I hear is rare to impossible, but I had no idea). I went in expecting a little pain relief, and what I got was an answer to my prayers! The first session was amazing, but almost excruciating during the session.Aric explained to me that the pain was called "therapeutic pain",and not only did it make sense but the pain felt good because it was releasing my muscles, and after my muscles were loosened up, it didn't hurt again to the touch. I think that is the problem with most massage therapists, they don't massage all of the muscle tissue/muscle mass. It only makes sense that if you have tense muscle, let's say in your leg, that you need to massage all of the muscle, even the deeper areas (the areas close to the bone). I never thought of it, but I had many questions and Aric answered all of them and gave extensive explanations of the type of therapy that he was performing, and I do concur that he is beyond extremely knowledgeable. He is a "Master" of massage therapy, if there is such a thing. And his knowledge goes beyond massage therapy to western physiology and into the Eastern arts.
Bottom line: I have no pain in my hip, or my knees and I had other joint pain which is almost gone, completely. Keep in mind, if you have problems like mine it will take more than one session. I bought 15 sessions and I went thru 6 of them and I feel amazing.

The fact that I have recieved massage certificates as gifts from just about everyone who has ever met me and given me any sort of gift speaks volumes about the amount of bodily pain I am usually in. I am 58 years old and have unfortunatly been in a number of vehicle accidentes including being struck by a vehicle while on my bicycle. Friends say I have 9 lives, and after the last car wreck where my toyota camry was wrapped around a Light post on Metropolitan Ave, I believe them. What I dont believe is that there can be so many So-called Massage Therapists and people (like me) not being able to find a decent one. Well the search has ended for me and anyone lucky enough to be reading this review. Aric Friedman is not a massage therapist (well he is, thats his title) He is a true HEALER. After a massage with him you will find that your muscles STAY relaxed and do not tense up. That is not to say that I dont still have pain, but i literally went from walking like a man in his 90's to walking upright and fast, like I did in my 30's. I am so very grateful to my secretary Gina for purchasing my first session and allowing me to experience what a REAL massage is. Go see Aric, You will NOT regret it.

Pros: Situated in the lovely Forest Hills Gardens.

Cons: None I can think of.

I get massage regularly. Have spent up to $300 on a session (which, of course wasn't worth it). I am a professional athlete and my body demands the best and very deep treatment. Because of so many injuries, I haven't found a therapist who was knowledgeable at treating all of them until now. Usually a therapist is good with the back, but I have specific knee problems, ankle problems, shoulder and elbow problems that are bad to severe. I use the therapist Aric Friedman, at Forest Hills Massage Therapy. I found out about him from a forest hills site after googling forest hills plus massage He did live up to expectation. He was able to give me an incredibly deep massage without it being too painful. I have gone to therapists and it was like they were sadistic, like they wanted to inflict pain. With Aric it is the opposite, he just wants to solve the problem: tense muscles. But he is more than just an excellent deep tissue body worker. He was able to realign my joints which allowed me to compete again. I have had about 5 sessions so far and it is like I am a teenage athlete all over again (I am 28 now). He has this heat that comes out of his hands. Sometimes he just holds my joints for 10-15 seconds (it sounds weird but it works!) and then the pain dissipates. Within two days after the session I am better than I was before and I am improving with each session. I am telling everyone reading this, I don't think you can find anyone better and especially more knowledgeable. His understanding of anatomy is amazing. Much better than the Orthopaedists that I have gone to over the years, and being an athlete, I have sought out the best. Do yourself a favor get a massage from him, better yet buy a 10 session series (his work is very similar to Rolfing, and I can personally guarantee that the sessions will be more effective). You will all thank me.

Pros: Incredible bodywork, very quiet atmosphere, etc.

Cons: didn't find out about it sooner

I had hurt my back lifting boxes at my job about a year ago, the pain "was" excruciating mostly because it didnt let me sleep at night. I do not have health insurance so i needed a place where the prices were reasonable and the work worthwhile. Friends had pushed me to get over my "phobia" about male therapists because they are the ones strong enough to get in deep to the muscles that were tight. They were beyond right and I am so glad to see others have reviewed this place. I had a massage with Aric as well and believe me it was not pretty but I left there with no pain. I would definitely recommend anyone in pain to Pay him a visit. If you drive get there early, you need a parking permit from the office to park in the area

I was in terrible neck pain due to two herniated disks not to mention lower back pain, leg pain and a tremendous amount of stress, I made a last last last minute appt. with Aric Friedman. Not only did he take me, but gave me by far the absolute best massage of my life. I was always afraid of deep Tissue and of male massage therapists but Here I am 2 weeks later feeling brand new. I never thought I would feel this good again but he really did an amazing job. He also made me feel very comfortable. I have been massaged in many places in the Forest Hills area as well as Bliss Spa in Manhattan and This was THE B E S T ! !
