Ratings_icons He is some sort of rude!

I really do not like the way he deals with the kids.He pulled my daughter closer to check her teeth and my daughter began to cry.He just said:"OK!I have to take her downstairs."Then just held her up and took her away without my permission. That was the first time we went there and no one told that my daughter was going to be separated from me. I was really surprised! I followed him downstairs and met him going up! I told him that I wanted to have a look at my daughter. He just took her upstairs and told me he was not going to see her again.

The previous person wrote they didnt know what went on down stairs well here it is.

Dont go to this dentist unless you want a dentist that restrains your child in any imaginable way including closing his nose to force him to breath keeping the child tied down and providing your child with his worst experience after my son goes there he refuses to go to any dentist cause he is afraid the same thng would happen. Just read there office policy when you go there if you choose to go there. Its federal law they must notfy you if they will restrain kids in such a inhumane way. Just go to youtube and search for papoose boards and you will get a visual of this dentists policy, so I am sure he works great with disabled kids just tie them down and force them to be in fear. Just watch the news reports on other pediatric dentists which show the same steps his office states they will do. There are other pediatric dentists who dont perform such ways that are more qualifed to handle kids instead of taking the easy way out.

Dr. Kotlow is an excellent dentist. He runs his office a certain way which works well with my family. The children have to be seen in the AM (I believe up to 7)and they go downstairs to their appointment without their parents. Up to age 3 is seen in a different room with a parent. I know a lot of parents object to this but I think it works great. My children behave much better for them if I am not there. The waiting room is filled with video games, fish and a train that travels around the room. Downstairs they have TVs and I really don't know what else since i'm not allowed down there :-). He is always up on technology and is very firm with his recommendations. Dr. Kotlow has worked well with my family. He also practices preventative care when it comes to braces.

PROS: preventative care, new technology
CONS: for some- willonly see children apart from parents
