Monro Muffler Brake & Svc

I took my car in last year to get my wipers fixed. During the repair the mechanic called me and said my engine is going and I would have to pay $1000 if I wanted it fixed. I refused so when I went to pick it up, he told me he'd mark it down to $600 if I did it right away. I refused. One year later, my car is fine but the wipers he put on came off. The right one after 3 months and the left just a few days ago. When I took it in, they said it was my fault because I didn't clean my car off correctly. He then looked at my wiper and said it would cost upwards of $600. I called my boyfriend who came over and popped the wiper on. It works fine. Monroe Muffler are a bunch of scammers trying to gauge their customers. All he had to do was pop it back on. Instead he says $600.

The Monro Muffler/Mr Tire stores in Ohio are no different than in New York. Their prices are too high, their employees are rude, and the service is poor. What bothers me most, is that they allow access to customers personal information to all employees, including numerous convicted felons that they employ (one at least, who was convicted for sex crimes against children). These employees may gain access to your home address and phone numbers, as well as access to your house keys and any other personal information left in your vehicle. I would NEVER take my vehicle there for service again.

Monro Muffler and Brake on Main Street and Hertel Ave has horrible staff. The sales/service staff is rude and unfriendly. They are not eager to do your business. The prices was outrageous. I went in to inquire about a air conditioning fix for my car and was quoted a preposterous amount. I said thank you and left right away. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I needed my muffler replaced and had previously purchased this muffler from this company. They replaced the muffler with no charge since the previous muffler had a lifetime guarantee on it. The service was very quick but the staff was not the most friendly. Either way my muffler was fixed quickly and correctly since I never had another problem.

the maintainance of a car is very expensive.you can easily spend hundreds of buck on an old car without noticing any main changes. monro is very competitive in this aspect. the best of all is that they do sacrufice the quality. they really tell you where the problem is and ask for your decisions. and i think their suggestion is very humane and just for the bussiness but also for you the customer.

PROS: price, speed
CONS: not well-known
