Dave's New York is awesome. So convenient, great service and mot importantly great selection!

I must say, I was very happy with the service here. One, I got a Levis trucker jacket that was a limited (seasonal only) item at the Levis website, and sold out; however, Dave's NY held one for me there. Two, I ordered it online from upstate NY and got it in two days. Very good service, and great communication (via Facebook even) when I asked a question.

The OCD in me loves how neat and tidy this store is. I love how all the shirts and pants are crisply folded, placed into cubes or shelves and stacked one on top of the other. The shopper in me loves the prices, and the trendy chick loves their selection of Levis.

Last week I stopped in because I wanted to pick up a new pair of skinny jeans. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection they had for women. I always thought this was a mens store until one of my friends was sporting a new pair of skinny jeans at happy hour and I asked her where she got them. She told me Daves New York and I was like REALLY? I always thought that was a mens work wear store. She informed me that I was WRONG and so I decided to check the place out. I am so happy I made the trip. The jeans here are significantly cheaper than the department store and this girl(me) loves a bargain. The staff was laid back but helpful at the same time. I managed to pick up two pairs of cute jeans in no time- I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The downside to this store is that they don't have a great selection of womens clothing. So you can get your jeans but that is about it!

Overall good place to pick up a pair or two if Levis at inexpensive prices.

Dave's new york has a great selection of clothing for men with the best jeans in the world in Levi's. The prices are what makes Dave's new york a great shop.

Dave's is an excellent store. You can find really good clothing at affordable prices.

Dave's is a very good store - its totally accessible, very well pressed, and has pretty much all the ""Essentials"" that a man needs. Jeans, coats, gloves, its all here. Definitely a place for any men to happily shop.

I had heard about Daves from several friends. When I went to check it out, I found the selection, prices, and employees all to be exceptional. It has the perfect blend of style and practicality. I even had the pleasure of being helped by who I figured to be the namesake ""dave"" to find out that it was actually his grandson. It is so nice to find a place in New York City that is still family run, owned, and held with pride.

How do people not know about this place. It honestly is the best big little store in new york, or it's a little big store, but htey have so much stuff crammed in this place. Everything I'm wearing today, i got from Dave, and I swear, head to toe covered for under $200. If you hate to shop at department stores, and can't afford 300 dollar jeans (cause your rent is too high!) then you need to shop at dave's. They have the classics, the basics, and the stuff that stays with you for a long time. Keep up the good work guys, i'm sure i will be back soon.

I am very short and suffer from many deformities. I am able to get all the work clothes I need at Daves despite my handicaps. The staff is very friendly and help me around the store. It's a great family run business and the prices are so affordable as I am on a fixed income. Thanks Daves New York!

This is the only place in Manhattan that you can find Redwing boots. They are the best work boots you can find, and it's cheaper here then at the Redwing store in jersey. I tell my buddies to go there all the time and whenever i'm in the city i stop in and pick up carhartt stuff

Don't waste your time with other places, this is the spot you need to swing by for your denim - I come in from Brooklyn to stop by dave's, they got Levi's hard denim for 30bucks. Say what's up to dave when you get there, he's the big dude with glasses

why go anywhere else? i just picked up 2 levi's for less money and time than i would have had to spend at any of the more ""fashionable"" stores. at the gap jeans go for $50+, no extra charge for HOLES and WRINKLES. i also used to waste my time at banana republic (which, btw, was perfectly fine when it was ""safari"" in the '80s, and now it's junk) and old navy, never finding anything or never the same thing twice.\r

stick with dave's, [or anyone else] offering clothes from manufacturers that make the classic styles that look, feel and fit the same way year in and year out. and if you have the salesperson from nigeria help you out, he's great...

I hate shopping, but this place was built to get you what you need, when you need it. They have EVERYTHING, literally, thousands of Levi's jeans ($30), Columbia fleeces + boots, thermals, socks, underwear, everything Carhartt makes, dockers, dickies, woolrich parkas. And here is the thing, they have a ton of stuff for women too (check out the Alpha jackets for women). Anybody can find something they need, and it's never expensive, and the people who work there WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU find anything. This is my new favorite store.

Dave's is perfect for back to school! Backpacks, jeans, cargos, shirts....and for both men & women. You really can't beat the prices either! Check it out, the staff is super nice, gives the store a real pleasant atmosphere!

Daves NY, good service, good selection. This is one of my favorite stores around. I highly recommend because they always have really good prices. They'll always help you find stuff, and there is NO sales pressure.
