4 Stars: British outpost (by Esther Y.)

This gastropub is for wonderful reminder for all ex-pats who miss traditional British cooking - haven't seen anywhere else in Manhattan offering roasted bone marrow! The small, dark and crowded interior just strengthens the feeling of being at your neighborhood pub back in Blighty -but their cooking was never this good!

2 Stars: Spotted Pig- what's the deal ? (by april c.)

I have been to the Spotted Pig many times and do not understand it's appeal. It is always so crowded, even upstairs, that I really can't enjoy my drinks or friends. You're constantly having to move out of the way of something. I think people go there because it's the place to go. I have had fun times, but quickly leave for a more intimate, less crowded place in the neighborhood (very plentiful). Food is good , but way overpriced and your table is the size of one plate. Very overrated.

4 Stars: Cool little spot (by Grandmaster C.)

The spotted pig seems to have a strong following. Their dinners are not cheap (although not crazy expensive or anything), and not large (although not rediculously small), but it has a great atmosphere and decor. Certainly worth checking out if you aren't watching your pennies.
