Once you walk into Joseph Taylor Salon you feel like family. That's the way every business place should feel like. Jackie, knows what I want and he cuts my hair to perfection. The beautiful ladies is a plus, the place is so relaxing and everybody has a great time.

At Joseph Taylor you have all the best including "Jackie the Haircutter" and Sheila! My husband and I have been going to them for years and it has always been a positive experience. Kudos to the entire staff at Joseph Taylor who are professional at all times, friendly, and in a word, delightful!

Lovely salon!
It is wonderful to find out Jackie the Haircutter and his lovely wife, Sheila, after all the years having their own shop, are both at Joseph Taylor.
I would not let anyone else touch my hair.

This place is comparable to other prices in area. If you want a really great cut go to Claudia,Glen or Erica!! I have had cuts, color and highlights by all three and I have never been unhappy!! I highly recommend this place if you want excellent service!They are professional, make you feel at home, and salon is always very clean.

Joseph Taylor is one of the best hair salons in New City. It was also given a wonderful write up in the Rockland County Magazine as well ( 2007). Pricing is very reasonable, customer service is dynamite and the owner is a doll! They don't charge extra for a blow out compared to other hair salons in New City. They listen to the kind of hairstyle you wish to have done and if they feel its suitable for your look they will do it, if not, they give suggestions (which I love). I would recommend this hair salon quicker than any other in town! Besdies, what other salon has a fantastic SPA right next door:)

I have been going to the same salon for over 10 years. This salon has undergone different names and owners but where it is at now is currently the best I have seen it. You walk in and have a feeling of a family. Bring your kids and they are welcomed too. The prices are comparable to other hair salons. They seem high but when I compared them to others it was not really more expensive.
