I have been to this place many, many times by now.
The food is constantly amazing, the chicken with okra and polenta is to die for!
Caipirinhas are very good too, strong enough and they can even make them with diet sweetener.

My friend and I always try out new restaurants whenever we go out to lunch and we saw this place had good reviews and decided to take a chance. We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly and we got our food pretty quickly. The taste and presentation of the food was excellent and the server was very attentive. Kudos to the management!

We went here lastnight before watching a show and were very pleased. I had the Moqueca de Peixe and my husband had the Filé de Peixe com Camarão. Both were very good and the portions were perfect. We spent a week in Brazil so of course we ordered caipirinhas to bring back the feeling on relaxing on Rio's beautiful beaches. Overall, this is a great place to eat. Enjoy!

Pros: Close to Broadway, Great food

Cons: Not much ambience

If you want a taste of what Brazilian food is all about...this would be the place to visit. While small, the atmosphere is classic of Rio de Janeiro and the Feijoada and Passion fruit Mousse is to die for! A must do if you happen to be on Little Brazil Street shopping for a bikini!

PROS: Delicious Food!
CONS: Not enough tummy to eat more!

I wandered in on a whim and discovered a new cuisine with strange but delicious mixes--had shrimp and artichoke hearts in a sauce inside an acorn squash. The waiters are chilled out and can explain the unfamiliar cuisine to you without making you seem ignorant. Went back later with my husband for our anniversary since they also do steaks to the hilt (with a salsa and some Brazilian fries) and we are a veggie/carnivore couple. Try this place and you won't be disappointed! The waiters want you to have a positive experience and will help you find a dish that suits your tastes; they make a point of providing a sampling of Brazilian favorites. a real cultural experience.
