I just wanted to respond to the previous post. I do feel bad that you were unhappy about the cuts, but Robert was probably the kindest hairdresser I have ever met. He so loved his customers and they loved him. He has fairly recently passed and so many of his customers miss him and his lovely Italian accent.

This was an awful, terrible experience; employees were unprofessional and rude. Manager and employee were fighting in front of me, who was going to get the costumer, fight ended when employee desided to quit her job. When i got my hair cut by the manager, it was ok, for the $ i paid, but styling and blow drying experience was torture. He did not know how to style or blow dry straight, thin, fine type of hair, he was pulling my hair and beating me with a brush on the scalp and said that was the best blow drying techniques.

I've been to this Supercuts several times and have never been happy with my haircut, but always figured that if you're going to pay next to nothing, you are not going to get a great cut, so I kept going. The advantages are the price (obviously) and the fact that you can walk in pretty much anytime without an appointment. But my husband and I stopped in a few days ago for a quick trim before the holidays, and the service was beyond unacceptable.

There is a very large sign above the cash register that says if your stylist does not ask if you want to purchase a product (shampoo, etc) that your haircut is free. The same stylist--Robert--cut my hair and my husband's (badly, I might add) and did not ask either of us if we wanted a product (I did want one!). He talked throughout both haircuts, mostly about how he is miserable and alone and his father died on Christmas day and his girlfriend left him. When he was ringing up the transaction, I glanced up and noticed the sign. I asked him if the haircuts would be free, since he had not asked us if we wanted products. He said no, since he had told me my hair was dry (which may or may not be true, but had nothing to do with him asking if I would like a product) and did not address the fact that he did not ask my husband. At this point I became annoyed, since the sign was pretty clear that the haircuts were free, but he refused to honor the store policy and charged the transaction anyway. To make matters worse, he did not return my credit card after the transaction, and I had to drive back to the store, which is several towns away, to retrieve the card later that day.

I guess my advice is this: if you are willing to accept a pretty bad haircut in exchange for the price and convenience, feel free to drop in...but I would recommend going to a Supercuts in another town, because this one is terrible.
