Ted's Fish Fry Inc

These fish fries are perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside... and they're huge. The tartar sauce and chili sauce are probably standard Price Chopper issue, but a Ted's with chili sauce is the best summer food ever. The fries are awesome, too - they're like fair fries!

Ted's Fish Fry in Troy is the absolute worst place I have ever been with regard to customer service. I have gone there twice because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as my first experience was so bad I figured that maybe it was just an off day. The entire staff was inept , rude, discourteous and ill trained. Two of the woman stood behind the counter and discussed their boyfriends and how "jammed" up they had gotten the previous evening, while two of the others stood idly by doing nothing while at least two other customers besides myself waited patiently to be acknowledged. When we were finally noticed we were greeted with a terse what do you need as if we were bothering them all. I could go on....but the point is is that I have owned and run three successful restuarants and if I ever walked in on my staff and observed them acting like that they would have been fired on the spot even if it meant I had to close down for a few days until I hired new staff. I will never go to this place ever again and you can be sure I will warn everyone I know. Note to owner: Send in an undercover friend and see for yourself. Stop resting on your past laurels and train some new people and get those ingrates out of there. They are ruining your business.

If you haven't tried Teds, this is the best fish fry you can eat!! I love this place because they offer fast service. Your in and out!! The food is always made to order. They offer fish, hamburgers and more. Highly Rated!
