...just remember to make a left when you come down the escalator...

by nina g. | insider Insider | Rank: 27,160

...they have someone standing there to make sure you do just that. whole foods isn't the cheapest place to get groceries (however, their store brand, 365, is comparably priced) but they have a good salad bar and prepared-foods section. everyone who works here is pretty nice and helpful, and they have a good selection of things. they discourage sampling, which is slightly irritating, but you can usually get away with it anyway. the check-out line can look frighteningly long, but it moves at a decent pace.

Great natural foods

by Jiya S. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,291

Whole Foods has a fantastic selection of natural and organic products, with a great prepared foods section and cafe. Their produce is just beautiful. Prices are a little high but the quality makes it worthwhile.

WOW! A food extravaganza!

by HP Q. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,635

I have visited the new Columbus Circle Time Warner Center a few times now, and the only reason I ever go there is to visit the Whole Foods Market on the bottom floor. This place is incredible. They have only the freshest and most beautiful produce. The grocery items include many healthy choices with organic stuff and oat-containing products. Probably the most fun part of this experience is the prepared foods section. Rows and rows of incredible choices, by the pound salad bars, hot ethnic foods, pizza by the foot, sushi (that looks delicious), and anything else you could imagine. They have a wall of different kinds of olives and lots and lots of cheeses. Mmmmm! It's all so good!

Great market with great big lines

by Eliza J. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,232

IF you ever want to go to this whole foods get ready to wait in line. I love Whole Foods just about anywhere but this one is always jampacked full of people and it always takes a long time to check out. My advice: buy a Jamba Juice and drink it while you wait in line.

Whole foods is amazing! They not only have a variety of produce and other natural goods to choose from for your kitchen, but they also offer an array of bath and beauty products. Some of their popular brands that I like include J.A.S.O.N. and Burt's Bees.

Unbelievable

by Susan C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,788

The Whole Foods Store in the time warner center was the best addition to the west side. The food here is fantastic. I love eating the prepared foods. It makes my life much easier not having to cook. It almost makes me want to not get fresh direct

All-Natural Foods

by Faetra P. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,846

Whole Foods is probably the cleanest, best organized market in New York. All of the food is organic and fresh, and their sushi and salad bar rocks. The only downside is the price (a bit steep for some things) and the crowds during peak hours can get out of control.

High quality

by Devin R. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,630

This is a great place to go to get good quality food. It's not the cheapest of stores, but I've found that if you want good quality then you generally have to pay a little extra. This place is definitely worth it.

Definitely deserves its popularity

by Simone D. | insider Insider | Rank: 12,977

Whole Foods has grrown increasingly popular over the last couple years, and in spite of its steep prices, I can see why. The food s great quality and they have a huge selection. It is a great place to shop if you cn afford it, but it is also one of my favorite places to eat lunch. They have the world's most incredible salad bar selection, as well as a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and freshly prepared sushi.

Excellent produce

by Beth C. | insider Insider | Rank: 22,715

A little pricey but worth it for the produce- all SO fresh and with such flavor. This organic/healthy grocery store boasts the best deli meat and trail mix anywhere around. Be sure not to go right after work- the lines tend to be as long as the store to check out.

Huge selection of healthy food

by Christine B. | insider Insider | Rank: 16,923

Health food mecca! A little pricey at times, but their selection is great and the food from their deli and numerous salad bars is fresh.
Watch out during the weekday lunch rush; it's a madhouse of ravenous business people.

The Best Natural Foods Store

by Patrice E. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 927

Everything here from Yummy homemade sandwiches and take-home foods and soups to vegetables, fruits, nuts and any grocery item you might need. All things are natural. Butcher dept. is great. I found a really nice Vanilla Musk roll-on scent. Breads are Delicious. Go in for one thing - come out with 20!
