Don't let the name fool you, this store has been around in Pearl River forever and sells more than just Amry products. Sure this is a great place to get your army, navy, boy scout, girl scout, etc items but they also have jeans, sweatshirts, sneakers, hikers, and more. As a child most of my jackets and sneakers came from this store. Their prices are great and the have special all the time.
PROS: Great selection.
CONS: Parking can be tough.

The Pearl River business district just wouldn't be the same without Mel's Army Navy store. They're the only store that tries to continue the long held tradition of Summer Sidewalk Sales that used to involve the whole downtown area. Now it's pretty much just Mels but it's still fun none the less! The staff couldn't be more helpful and the prices are great. It's so much simpler to shop right in town rather than treking to one of the crowded malls. Mels is an institution in Pearl River.
