I agree with Stacy S. I shop at Costco often and would probably go there more if there was a line for people who just have a few things. Sometimes I only need 1 or 2 things and won't go in because of the lines with people who have full carts. Costco, think of an Express Line.

The Staten Island Costco Wholesale (formerly Price Club) is a warehouse store located on a main road near the mall. On weekdays, the store opens at 10:00 a.m. and by 9:30 a line starts forming at the gate. Many people at this time are just running in for a few items and the checkout lines begin to back up by 10:15 - it would be very helpful to have an express checkout line, at least for some of the day. Often, people come in to pick up a deli platter or cake, and they need to wait on the same lines as people with overflowing carts.
At Costco, you are buying in bulk, so that everything you purchase is either an extra large size of that item, or a multipack of regular sized items. I find the prices to be especially good for their meats and clothing items, and for household appliances as well. This location does not offer alcoholic beverages for sale, so if we are hosting a party, we will travel to other Costco locations for such items.
PROS: Good deals.
CONS: No alcohol for sale; no express checkout.
