One must really love the taste of Italy, not what passes for Italian food around here. Fabio is from Italy, trained in New York City in Little Italy for years before coming to Cortland, lucky us. One must love garlic, and authentic high

My family and I selected this restaurant for a special Friday night out before going to a play. We arrived at 5:30 and they weren??t busy.

We ordered a ??Heart Healthy? Chicken Dish and it arrived in a pool of oil. The Chicken Parmesan dish had a funny taste to it. The marinara was brownish in color and flat, tasting like it came from a #10 can with very little if any doctoring and it may have been old. French Fries were very soggy and inedible. The Fresh Fish arrived soaking in a pool of cream sauce. The manager/owner wouldn??t come out and talk to us because he was cooking and would have to
wait 30 minutes to see him. Now is this the way to run a restaurant?
If the owner would take a look at some of the food mags out there he would see that the masses like fresh food without a lot of sauce/oil. Fresh food, I think not!

Pros: none

Cons: not worth the money

The food is excellent and plentiful. I like to try the special and my boyfriend gets a classic so we can share. The food has excellent flavor and texture. Everything is made to order so don't be in a hurry. It takes awhile to get your food. They do have some good vegetarian choices on the menu. The wait staff turns over quite a bit and most don't seem to enjoy thier job. A pleasant wait staff would be a good addition. They have live piano music on the weekends. It is a nice addtion not too loud just relaxing.

PROS: Excellent food
CONS: slow
