Pros: cheap-ish, clean bathroom, near manhattan/subway

Cons: uncomfortable dirty sheets, street noise, general sleeziness

.

The hotel was reasonable and had a good breakfast. The rooms were small, and mine in particular had a wonderful view of the junkyard in back. The neighborhood isn't the greatest but seemed safe. It is literally a block or so from the subway stop so very convenient. Reasonable prices for NYC and a good alternative to staying in Manhattan, as it is only a few stops away. I think we paid about $150/night.

PROS: Close to subway, a few stops from Manhattan
CONS: View of junkyard
