5 Stars: Renata's Wings at the Clam Bar! (by Chuck C.)

This is a House Special Recipe, once you try them you are hooked for life! They are not spicy, as near as I can tell they are coated with I think a chicken base product (I'm betting on Knorrs) and some paprika. But they are absolutely AMAZING!!!! And only Renata knows the recipe!!!

5 Stars: Best Clams EVER! (by Wilanator)

I love the Clam Bar! The food is amazing, it seems like its not even a day old! The last time went there a kind waitress sat me down immediatly even though the place was packed. I recommend the haddock. The best part was that my kids enjoyed the food too! They hate seafood, but there was more than just seafood and they loved it. No wonder why everyone talks about the food there! My kids even tried new things like my haddock and now my kid Willy can't stop eatting it! The Clam Bar is my favorite restaurant and the food and service is so great that it shows tremendously!!

5 Stars: Keep your elbows down, others need room to eat (by fat_and_old)

What a kick - zebras on the ceiling, Chirstmas lights on the walls, people crammed in everywhere. The food is fantastic. The place is great and the beer is cold, If you like clams come on in - if you want a burger don't go here... it's a clam (and pasta) place. It looks like it was a 1960's Florida beach restaurant, that was moved to syracuse. It's cozy, the atmoshere is corny but nice. We had 4 orders of clams as an appatizer - the garlic clams were great. Get extra bead and use the oil as a dippin sauce - 3 loaves later ... : ) We have been back 3 more times in the past 2 months. In short - the food is superb, the price is great, the atmosphere is fun and waitresses and beautiful and nice

2 Stars: Avoid (by jefree_jade)

Could be a great place, but service is horrible and food is lacking. Boring, bland and small I do not recommend the haddock, nor the steamed clams. Three different waitstaff came to my table and were in a hurry and had and "I don't care about you" attitude. Nice Ambiance. Could be nice if the food and service were much better.

4 Stars: Seafood delight (by Tracey D.)

The Clam bar has great prices and very good food. It is a small place with a kind of outdated, but pleasant atmosphere. I think if it was updated, it would lose its charm! The servers are friendly. It does get crowded, especially evenings, but the wait wasn't long whenever we have had to wait. The steamed clams and broiled haddock are excellent choices.

4 Stars: Check it out (by jncapobi)

One of N. Syracuse's favorite haunts and now I see why!
It's a little small inside, but the decor is super cool, tropical, palm tree, sea artifacts, nets on walls theme goes w. a nice wood finish.
Our server was awesome and friendly!
We were dying/craving some raw clams and they didn't disappoint. A little pricey though. One of the best and tastiest values on the menu is the Ahi tuni sandwich.

4 Stars: Delicious! (by Miranda M.)

What a special treat to eat at this restaurant! This is a small secret tucked into a rather old looking building. It looks remarkably like a little fishing shack. The Clam Bar excells at seafood, and all entrees are freshly prepared (the salad, alas, appears to be from a bag). Generous portions abound, ensuring that you are full. The service is friendly and prompt. Over all, a pleasurable dining experience. Just avoid the Clam Bar on Fridays, as the fish on Fridays tradition still lives at the north end of Syracuse.
