4 Stars: Seafood delight (by Tracey D.)

The Clam bar has great prices and very good food. It is a small place with a kind of outdated, but pleasant atmosphere. I think if it was updated, it would lose its charm! The servers are friendly. It does get crowded, especially evenings, but the wait wasn't long whenever we have had to wait. The steamed clams and broiled haddock are excellent choices.

4 Stars: Delicious! (by Miranda M.)

What a special treat to eat at this restaurant! This is a small secret tucked into a rather old looking building. It looks remarkably like a little fishing shack. The Clam Bar excells at seafood, and all entrees are freshly prepared (the salad, alas, appears to be from a bag). Generous portions abound, ensuring that you are full. The service is friendly and prompt. Over all, a pleasurable dining experience. Just avoid the Clam Bar on Fridays, as the fish on Fridays tradition still lives at the north end of Syracuse.
