Tower Records Video Books

This is the Tower Records next to Lincoln Center, a very large store with a lot of everything. It excels especially in the classical area, which has separate rooms (and sound systems) for main classical and for opera. The staff are very helpful and have books on hand to find anything that you need. There are frequent sales and discounts, and they always have the latest issues in CD and classical DVDs. Listening stations are set up with hot new releases, and there is a selection of books on classical music as well. Highly recommended for the classical music fan, and convenient to all the concert halls at Lincoln Center.

This one is huge. It has everything. Most likely, if you're looking for it, they'll have it. It's like an older version of Virgin Records - with a lot better service. The workers are actually friendly and ask if you need any help. Things are easier to find here than at Virgin too. And, of course, the prices are a lot better. Granted, it's still a little on the pricey end, but only by about $5 more than the norm at circuit city. Then again, it's still cheaper than buying cd's and dvd's at bookstores like Border's.

Not only does Tower Records have a great renting selection, their CD and DVD prices are actually reasonable. They also have a cool selection of various collectors toys and posters, sheet music books, guitar accessories, and entertainment magazines.

This store rules! They have books, videos, and magazines! It's like the convenience of wal-mart but with more variety and selections to choose from instead of just the newest pop cd or new york times best seller. The prices are generally pretty good as well which just makes the place that much better!
