The Village Shoppe's prices are higher than comparable stores or online retailers. So why do people shop there? Because they offer the area's choicest selection of hard-core pornography, sold openly in their magazine rack. And this right in the center of a middle-class, family oriented neighborhood. The family that runs this place are a bunch of amoral smut-peddlars.

The Village Shoppe is a small store located on forest ave. It has just about everything you could need. From convenience market mainstays such as cigarettes and lotto plus an assortment of school supplies. Parking is ample and convenient. My only complaint is regarding one of the clerks. A woman in her late 50's- early 60's with gray hair and zero personality. I have tried many times to at least get a "hello" or a "thank you" from this woman with no result. Sometimes a simple smile is all it takes to make a person feel comfortable to shop in your store. Unfortunately many establishments don't realize this.
