You know when things start spiraling out of control and one thing breaks down and it's like a conspiracy among appliances? This is what happended to us when not one but two of our toilets broke down. The handles that flushed were inoperable and something attached to it in the tank was broken.

We headed to Neighborhood Lumber & explained the situation, came ready with attached non-working parts mind you (since we are NOT plumbers) and the helpful guys there at the store fixed us up. Really wracks the mind to think the source of all evil for your toilet is a piece of plastic and metal that will set you back $8 but there you have it. We were also starting to remodel our kitchen, so while there, we purchased a brand new kitchen faucet which set us back $30.

The plastic & metal piece while sealed, did NOT come with instructions but the guy at the counter was kind enough to make a copy of a generalized part replacement (guess it came out of a manual?) that had step by step instructions with pictures to help us install the part. Other places might have wished us well (force be with you and all) or told us to call a plumber, get jacked up for $50 to install an $8 product.
I love these guys! If you're purchasing heavy items, they offer free delivery in the neighborhood and are open on Sundays & holidays to boot!

PROS: Great Selection, Attentive Professional Staff, A+Prices, Free Delivery
CONS: none
