5 Stars: Great place for excellent food and service (by mn)

the ambiance of Dylan Prime is very chic. The food is amazing and the service is first rate. They also have an excellent selection of wines.

4 Stars: Good Times!!! (by xxxtruthxxx)

I've been here many times and after reading all the reviews I was skeptical, but they did not disappoint. The bar was packed and the cocktails were great. My Rib Eye was phenomenal and I look forward to going back.

The wine list seems to have shrunk and my favorite is no longer there, but I hear that's everywhere now.

2 Stars: Not so much (by Yoelmo)

I work very close to this restaurant and have wanted to go for some time. Finally made it there and now wish I went elsewhere.

Pros
- Baby Beef Wellingtons

Cons
-All four of our steaks were not cooked correctly. Each had a different cut and they all looked undersized.
-Accessories were nothing special and small in size
-Desert, we went for the porterhouse-don't make the same mistake
-Coffee - capuccino was cold and watery. Coffee was burnt tasting
-Music, I like the music selection HOWEVER not for what should be considered an upscale restaurant.

The table next to us had almost the same complaints. Unfortunately for me it's easy to get to but I will not be returning.

3 Stars: my first average meal (by bairrbob)

I have been here several occasions and NEVER been dissapointed. This was my first average meal there? My friend and I shared the mixed baby greens , which was good, but not spectacular. Then we both had the ribs. Both of our meals came out luke warm and a bit over cooked. The rib was not really all that tender. I suppose we were dissapointed as this was Dylan Prime, always touted as a top restauarant in NY, either way, definitely not worth a $140 bill (we had a couple drinks).

I am sure I'll give it another go, but another round of mediocre food (for these prices) and I'll look for another favorite spot.

5 Stars: Great Steak Place!! (by steaklover138)

I've been eating at NYC restaurants for the past ten years, and I've seen some good ones and some really bad ones, but this one is great. I started in the bar with my wife for a couple cocktails. I had probably the best manhattan in my life. My wife asked for an apple martini, and the bartender suggested their own version which she liked alot. We loved our server in the diningroom, Karen?, she made our anniversary really special. The food was really impressive--cheese fondue, then we shared a monster porterhouse for two that was the best steak I ever ate. The sommeliere was really helpful and new everything about the winelist. He helped us find a great malbec that was a hidden gem and inexpensive. A truly refreshing experience where we felt appreciated for coming to a restaurant, Finally!

2 Stars: Has Gone Completely Downhill (by tadevosy)

It made me sad to look through the reviews and realize that the last few that Dylan received unanimously agree that it is bad. I used to love that place--and so did many other people. I remember when it was practically impossible to reserve a table there, when the steaks were delicious, when their appetizers almost made you cry (warm lobster salad, where art thou), when it was noisy, and boisterous and fun! Went there last week and found the entire experience BAD. First, their current appetizer menu gives you so few choices, and really one worse than the other. Second, the place was practically empty at around 8 pm -- never a good sign. Now, here comes the kicker. We ordered porterhouse steak for two, medium rare, and it arrive on a COLD PLACE. I mean not even room temperature. Do you remember that nice buttery sizzle of porterhouse? Well, not this one. So, by the time we ate the first two pieces, the rest of the steak was cold, covered in solidified fat, and completely inedible. Then came the deserts, which looked like somebody had dropped them and then reassembled them in a hurry. Messy, undistinguished, nothing to write home about. Our top three choices of wines were not available. The waiter had NO IDEA about any of the wines on the menu, unless you count understanding the difference between red and white. A sommelier was not available. I could go on and on, but I will stop here. I refuse to give it one star only because my husband and i had one of our most memorable dates there five years ago. Shame....

1 Stars: Horrible...just horrible!!! (by SteakNut)

I used to eat here alot, but maybe never again. Last week, I ordered a filet mignon medium rare and I had to send it back because it was so rare, it was almost breathing! When it came back to me (after a huge wait), the mouthfeel was rubbery. They say they use prime grade beef, but I'm thinking they're pulling the wool over our eyes by using choice...or worse yet, select. The sides were good, but it makes no difference when the anchor of the meal drags along the bottom. My family and I were sitting in a booth and they were changing a tablecloth on a large round table next to us. It was the kind of cheap folding table used for outdoor catered parties! You'd think a nice place like this would have a nice permanent table for large parties. It's the kind of smoke and mirrors thing that makes me wonder what's going on in the kitchen (Prime? Choice?). There also seems to be a Jersey biker element that hangs out here, which, quite frankly, doesn't aid in my digestion and makes me a little nervous for my family's safety. I work hard at Goldman and I really don't need to deal with poor service, rubbery steaks and sketchy characters using profanity near my family. I'm going to Wolfgang's. I've never had a bad experience there.

1 Stars: Total Rip-off (by apple2478)

After paying our $250 bill for 2 people for a mediocre meal, we decided to order 2 shots of Patron. We handed the waiter a $50 bill to pay for the shots upon which we received $15 back. When questioning the manager/owner as to how this could be, he replied that they were in fact $17 each, plus tax. He actually had the nerve to tell us he had to pay a delivery charge. $35.00 for two little shots is completely unacceptable, and his response was even more infuriating. Add that to the slow service and it is a recipe for disaster. I will not be returning there ever again.

1 Stars: Disappointing (by mmcc116)

Wife and I went to Dylan's on or about Valentives Day. Place was not crowded but the hostess sat us at the middle table between two other couples when the restaurant was barely 10% full. (You know how close that can be in Manhattan). We were laughing with the other couples about how cramped we were. I guess we didn't rate on the cool meter and were seated in the uncool section or at least that was the vibe we got. Steaks were disappointing, my wife's filet was served in 2 pieces! Looked very strange. Took very long time to get drinks and dare we say a refill on them. We will not be returning anytime soon. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

5 Stars: Great food... not so fab service, fancy martinis are on the dessert menu (by issyandaustin)

The food here was really amazing. My husband and I spent a lot of time deciding on where we were going to spend our first anniversary dinner in the city and finally decides on Dylan Prime. I had the filet and he had the NY strip, and we were both more than satisfied with the food. The cream of spinach was the best I've ever had. If you like the fancy martinis, ask to see the dessert menu because that is where they are hidden. I wish I would have known this before dinner. Our waiter wasn't the best and he started off the evening by saying "ummmmm, there are no specials and we dont have this... this and this..., followed by a long pause. I think he was waiting to see if we still wanted to eat there, and I'm glad that we did. The ambiance was great.. dark, and lit with candles, and perfect for our anniversary. I would defintely go there again!

5 Stars: great food great service (by Cashm)

Dylan's is one of those restaurants that is always consistant. It's always good. Even if it's crowded, the service is still good. Sure it might be slower, but then againt he food is cooked to order so normal.
We no longer live in NYC but make it a point to always dine at Dylan's during our trips to NYC and the husband recommends it to all his clients visiting NYC.
This is truely a great steak restaurant. Been to BLT and this is better. I don't even want to try others, this one is the crown jewel of steak houses

4 Stars: Great food, Great service (by itsgood123)

So, I had been thinking about visiting this place for months. I read reviews. I've heard mixed reviews. I must say that I loved it! We started out with cocktails in their beautiful lounge and then had dinner in the dining room. We were seated and promptly approached. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We found out that she had worked there for a few years, so assumed that she would be able to give some good suggestions. And our instincts were correct! Most of our group had steaks (the "Cowboy" ribeye was AMAZING) and one in our group was convinced to try the bacon chop (something we never would have thought about, but we all tried...and loved it!) The lobster mac and cheese was to die for! Our experience was incredible and will be back again!

1 Stars: Horrible service, Over priced (by thenycicon)

Do not go here if you have a large group. We had 10 people in our party. For our 1st drink we waited an hour and got to order after hour and thirty mins. The food left something to be desired. Overpriced and all of the steaks were overcooked. we finally were able to get the check after 3 hours and 30 mins. We refused to get desert because of the wait time. The final bill was over $1600. Everyone left with feeling ripped off.

Oh and the crowd is SO Not Hip!!!

If you want steak DO NOT GO HERE. Stay to Brooklyn or 14th street.

1 Stars: Bad Steaks (by kbear123)

Went here for New Year's Eve 2007. The decor was ok, the restaurant is difficult to get to, the service was decent..nothing exceptional, nothing bad.

The steak itself, was horrible. I had to actually ASK the waiter if the meat was a choice cut or prime cut, that's how bad the steak was. Much better steakhouses elsewhere that's not difficult to get to.

4 Stars: Great service, great menu (by kdmac)

Tried Dylan Prime for the first time last week. Had to wait 10 mins for our reservation but enjoyed drinks (great selection of cocktails and wine) in the lounge, which was casual and welcoming. LOVED the filet I ordered for dinner. The steak was comparable to Luger's or Sparks, believe it or not. Server was attentive throughout the meal. I'll definitely be back.

2 Stars: Splurge elsewhere (by adeola)

In New York, 300 dollars can buy you a wonderful meal, so it would be a waste to spend it here. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and it was a huge disappointment. Though I noted in the reservation that it was his birthday and reminded both the host and our waitress (who, to be fair, was very nice), we were seated at a table with a broken flap that kept hitting his knees and they couldn't remember the candle in our cake. The famed fondue was lumpy, the steak was overcooked, and the beet salad was overdressed. It was edible, but hardly impressive.

3 Stars: Don't like the change (by schiffb)

I've gone to dylan prime more than once a month for a few years. Tonight I had the worst porterhouse I've ever had there. (still pretty good). When the bill came It was significantly more than it had been in the past (over $100 for a porterhourse for two instead of about $65). The waiter said they've changed the steak they bought and thus it cost more. I like this place, but they've switched to worse tasting steak that costs close to twice as much as it cost before. They better change this, because wolfgangs down the street has a better porterhouse for 25% less. (That being said, I still hope they change it, because there are times when I feel like going to dylan prime instead of wolgangs.)

1 Stars: Warning, Do Not Go Here (by 364w51st)

I recently held a private birthday party at Dylan Prime Lounge. First they sat 24 ppl in a cramped space split by entry to the restroom. i kindly asked hostess to move us, he says fine so good times so far. Next the owner along w/ 2 co-owners were sitting in section we moved to. It was completely fine considering our party had not yet arrived but after thirty minutes with a 1/2 empty lounge the three men refused to move! We gave them more than an hour to finish their drinks and once all my guests arrived we stood up for the first hour since one of our tables were occupied by strangers! I decided to introduce myself in order to make the situation civil but the intro was less than warm-try subzero. Long story short - he sat there for a half hour more giving my guests the stare down all night. DO NOT HAVE A PARTY HERE. The owners were rude and not professional. I could say worse but I'll leave it at that. Sadly no one ever called to rectify the situation after my boss had a heart to heart with the Manager on Duty . No apology- NOTHING - I was told by the event Mgr next day 'You consumed the drinks and food so deal with it. There's nothing we can do." THIS WAS WORST EXPERIENCE IN A RESTAURANT IN THE TEN YEARS I'VE LIVED IN NYC.

4 Stars: Modern Take On Dead Cow (by timbo77)

I've got to say it was pretty good. the reviews didn't really sell me, but the atmosphere is great, the food good, not spectacular. Service is spot-on and the cocktails are killer. Get the Manhattan if you like bourbon. the pork belly tatertots are good but taste like the fried stuff you get at rodizio. Scallops as an appetizer was fantastic, they must have been 3 inches across. Filet mignon was good, but a little sinewy. The creamed spinach was dry and not creamy at all, but the baby baked potatoes were excellent, in a cheesy, creamy sauce-a must have! dessert was a let down, but by that time you need angioplasty anyway. The bar area is good to hang out, A great alternative to steak houses, but I would take Sparks or Old Homestead anyday..

5 Stars: Great Date Spot! Pricey... but what steakhouse in Manhattan isn't? (by brodowsp)

Was looking for a nice steakhouse to take my girlfriend to, but was looking for someplace that was less stuffy, not ridicuously expensive, and with a cool atmosphere. A friend recommended Dylan Prime to me and I made reservations for a Thursday night w/ no problem. When we arrived for our 8:00 reservation we were seated promptly and the dimly-lit restaurant was about 1/2 full. We started by sharing the so-so lobster gnocci appetizer and munched on the bread until our main course, a 32 oz. porterhouse, arrived w/ sides of lobster mac & cheese (good, but maybe a little too dry), potato/corn cakes (amazing! highly recommend w/ steak!), and the obligatory creamed spinach (mmmmm). The steak was cooked just right and the porterhouse was just the right portion size for the two of us to share when you factor in all of the sides we got. She drank sangria and I red wine, and unfortuantely there was no room for dessert since we were stuffed... but reading them on the menu still made my mouth water. Our waiter was attentive and accomodating, and the quiet background music ranged from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Michael Jackson to Justin Timberlake... random, but it set the mood for a great evening. There were also some larger groups in the restaurant that seemed to be having a great time and I may looking into a group outing in the future. I've been to many steakhouses in the city, from Blair Perrone's and Mark Joseph's to Smith & Wollensky's and Gallagher's, and although the steaks at Dylan Prime aren't quite to the level of some of these, the altogether experience was wonderful and I can't knock the food. Total bill came to $200 including tip, which was just about what I anticipated. Thanks for a fantastic evening!

4 Stars: Great dinner spot (by rachiepie6)

I went here for my birthday on a friday night. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. The service was great, the cheese fondue appetizer is a must, the steak was good (not the best, but solid.) The atmosphere was the best thing of all. It was a very chill, sophisticated, nice place to dine. The lounge/bar area next door was also really fun to have a drink in. Two thumbs up!

3 Stars: Great Apple Martini...and some sides (by hottfussnyc)

went here for a bday dinner a few nights ago, this place is kinda hard to get to and once you're in you're amazed at how anyone else found it--we went on a Wed. night and it was pretty packed in the dining room, and the bar had a good crowd. Anyways, the ambience is definitely very nice. Like the editorial review said, the place seats a lot but feels intimate.

Food-wise, wasn't that impressed. we had the scallops and the fried artichoke. My friend said the scallops were good, the fried artichoke was good but not something I'd crave for again. For entree we got the 11 oz. filet mignon and the halibut. filet mignon wasn't that tasty, seemed bland, and the halibut was def overcooked as it was very dry and i don't even eat fish that much and i know it wasn't good. the sides were def better--we had the baked potato, some corn/potato truffle thing, cream spinach and the lobster mac n cheese. so lesson learn--order 1 entree and lots of sides.

as for drinks, they had a large cocktail menu. the best drink though was the Big Apple--basically an Apple Martini but its got cinnamon frosting on the glass. it was AMAZING. seriously, this drink was the highlight of my meal.

overall a nice dining experience with attentive service but ok food. not bad food, but not great either.

5 Stars: fantastic steak and great service! (by ludis97)

The appetizer, crab cake is good and also salads are very tasty but the french onion soup was okay. However, the main dish, rib eye melts on your mouth and filet mignon with blue oysters are fantastic! I've dined many major chain steak houses but the quality of the steak here beats the major chain steak houses. The side dishes are big so people can share. Also, we originally ordered $75 wine from Napa Valley but the restaurant was out of that particular wine therefore, the manager gave us another wine that costs $90 for the price of $75. Now, that's a great service! Not only that, the server was very friendly and courteous and had no problem spilitting the bills as well. Once again, good food and good service. I cant' wait to go back to this place again when I visit NY.

4 Stars: just the apps man just the apps (by darleenthecat)

It does seem a little crazy to go to a steak house just for the appetizers and not have the steak but that is what we did the other night. Honestly, a good steak is a good steak. A great steak is a great steak and there are about a gazillion great steakhouses in Manhattan now. But a load of appetizers, that's a treat. Dylan is a nice room and you don't have to leave there stuffed like a Macy's Balloon.

3 Stars: would go back to this steak house again! (by n0name)

Great experience. Descent Service. Ordered 2 steaks between the two of us; Filet was perfect. But the Strip steak was well done, not medium as requested. Sides were delicious, wine selection pretty good too. Did not wait to be seated with reservation made on opentable. Would definitely go back.

5 Stars: Good food, good wine, lovely ambiance (by happiness1234)

Went here for a nice romantic dinner. Had a good time, my 7 oz. filet mignon was a bit small, def go for the 11 oz which is only $6 more. It was yummy, and the sides are very good, i would order rare next time, my medium rare was a bit too done for me. The wine was also very good, and the service was also what is to be expected. Overall, a lovely dinner.

2 Stars: If you can live on apps and side dishes... go for it (by negasong)

I went to Dylan Prime for a friend's birthday and was not pleased overall. The main problem that I had with this restaurant is that the steaks were just not good. The sides were great (I'm not a potato guy - but I have to admit, the potatoes with bacon were fantastic, as was the broccoli rabe and creamed spinach). The appetizers were great (especially the crab cakes and scallops). The steaks however, were horrible - and when you're going to a place where steak is supposedly the raison d'etre... well... there you go.

Everyone at the table had a different cut of meat and all of us were disappointed. I personally had the T bone, and while I will say that it got better as I got further into the steak towards the bone, the outer portion (roughly half) was dry and flavorless with way too much char for a rare steak (thank goodness for the sauce I ordered on the side, since ordering a new drink or a glass of water to wash down those dry bites of steak would have taken ages).

The final clincher for me to never visit this place again was when we paid the check. Since we were a large party (10 people), the gratuity was added to the bill. Since a couple of the people in our party were bartenders and waitstaff, we tipped an extra 100 or so dollars on top of the gratuity. I excused myself to use the restroom, and upon returning to the table, saw the bartender, our waiter, and another waitress (who had nothing to do with our table except for handing us dessert menus) at the bar, fighting like cats and dogs about who was going to get the extra 100-ish dollars we left. If I were an investment banker instead of a bartender and could have coughed up an extra hundred each just to get them to shut up about it, I would have. If you can expense it, then who cares? (Unless the client is really important). But if you are paying out of pocket, there are way better steaks and way better service to be had in New York for the same or slightly lower/higher prices.

5 Stars: Attractive steakhouse w/ Great Starters, Sauces, and Sides (by coleyas)

I love this place and I love the unassuming location in Tribeca. This is a different kind of steakhouse, not your traditional and overly masculine steakhouse, and that's part of what makes it special and worth a visit even though I won't argue it to have the best steak in town. We were seated promptly but I wish that we'd had a second longer to linger at the bar because it looked pretty inviting. We started with the cheese fondue accompanied by apples, bacon, and cubed bread. It was bubbly, luscious and a perfect starter to complement Dylan's atmosphere. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes were very crabby and too much for one person alone, so splitting this would be the best option. I had the Filet with the Black Pepper Buerre Rouge Sauce. The filet was cooked a perfect medium rare but I found it to be a little boring without the sauce. WITH the sauce, which was full of spice and edible by itself, it was fantastic. Our sides were also great. We ordered the Baby Baked Potatoes and the Lobster and White Truffle Mac n' Cheese. I strongly recommend both. The Mac n' Cheese was so creamy, truffle-y, and wonderful that it inspired me to spend an entire day in the kitchen trying to design my own rendition. The wine list was great as well, I will definitely be back!

4 Stars: Romantic Bar Setting (by melaniesand)

Last week I met my date in the bar/lounge and we ordered a bottle of wine & apps... I was told it was a pretty chill scene. The food was good (except for the lobster gnocchi!) and the setting was even-toned and comfortable. It's nothing like your Midtown steakhouse. I was totally expecting the place to be swarming with bankers, but I was pleasantly srprised. Very civilized - very romantic. Next time we'll eat i the dining room, but I have to say, the bar is quite cool!

3 Stars: Steakhouse, Not! (by jfeldman71)

I recently, went here for a big occaision and was really looking forward to it. I had heard lots of positive things and went in with high expectations. If you are looking for a true steakhouse there are tons of better options in the city. My favorite is the Palm, hands down. Dylan Prime disappointed from the get go. We were seated by the entrance and there was a contant cold draft each time the door was opened. I repeat do not order the 7oz. steak! This steak was the size of mini hamburger! It was a joke of a piece of meat. I sent this piece back and ordered the 11oz for 6 dollars more and it wasn't much bigger. While we waited our sides sat on the table cold. The sides were tiny portions! Mac and cheese tasted good but tiny portion. The creamed spinach was awful, nut pureed and not creamy. The Manager came over and told me that the steak had shrunk because it was ordered medium well! That is hogwash! I have eaten at many steakhouses and had never heard that one. Just admit that the steak size was subpar and that you are sorry! I paid my bill and gave almost 20% as I felt for the waiter! He was not helpful either! I will never go back to this restaurant ever!

I personally believe the decor and atmosphere at Dylan's sister restaurant, Devin Tavern is much better than Dylan. The decor and atmosphere at Dylan is very Plain Jane.
5 Stars: S*xy place for steaks! (by bettyo70)

The lighting here is fantastic. Great date place... everyone looks good under the lighting. The night we went, it seemed like all the Smith Barney employees were eating here. Excellent sound system. Strange selection of music. Did they just play Michael Jackson?

The person working coat check looked really depressed. We ignored her.

Fondue was fun. Steaks great quality and taste. My husband liked his martini.

Our waiter was kind of nervous. He did not seem confident about his recommendations when we asked him. Maybe the staff is tired from having to serve too many jaded bankers? Okay, I'll stop being judgemental.

Despite the few staff glitches, had a great time. Hubby and I walked through Tribeca all the way home to the West Village after this very filling meal.

4 Stars: Best Steak, Cocktails, Great Service (by jennicon33)

what a fantastic Restaurant. Been many times. I find it hard to steer away from the rib eye (try it with the black truffle beurre blanc), but I have tried the surf and turf WOW, also the beef wellington,(also available in mini form on the fantastic bar menu). The service is great, well informed and very enthusiastic, great wine reccomendations. The bartenders are amazing!! try the signature Manhattan, also the dessert cocktails are out of this world. Too many thing to try, bring lots of friends and try a little of each. Calling for a reservation is a dream, and then after a few visits, the very attentive door staff recognised us and were very accomodating, ( our party increased at the last moment) Go there for a great fun date or somewhere to bring your parents, this restaurant has something for everyone including vegetarians. Cant wait to go again and to try their new restaurant Devin Tavern

5 Stars: Boys Club Steakhouse, REALLY GOOD STEAK (by qtgurljny)

The steak here is excellent. I personally like fattier cuts so i chose a fattier steak. It was done to perfection as requested: medium rare. We had some mid-range priced Amarone wine which was DELICIOUS. Even though the steak is out of sight, I think it was surpassed by my love for the wine. Our waiter was attentive, patient and went painstakingly out of his way to make our meal special. The ony thing I was disappointed with was the decor. It thought it would be modern but, it's not. IT's pretty much done like an old boy's club restaurant. The highlight of hte decor is the beautiful clear, ground floor wine cellar they have. Dylan Prime will break the bank but, you actually might not mind.

5 Stars: What a place for Girls Night Out! (by heidigoseek)

I've been hearing good things about Dylans for a while so when we were looking to take my friend out for her birthday we decided to give it a shot. We got there a bit early so we met in the lounge for a drink. The cocktails were fabulous. I love their apple-tinis they aren't sour! And the cosmo is great too.
Total there were five of us so we decideed to have fun with the menu. We started off with their giant Cosmo for the table and a fondue to share. All of us except one got the filet mignon she got the halibit. We were all really happy with our meals. Probably one of if not the best steaks I've had. We also did a bunch of side dishes to share. Green beans, fries, mac and cheese, and a few other all really good, but the horseradish mashed potatoes stood out. By dessert we were all pretty full, but it being a birthday we got the Chocolate t-bone cake and shared a few dessert cocktails.
The service was nice, the atmosphere fun, and decor lovely. I now know where to go come september when it's my birthday.

4 Stars: I agree (by Dawnrenee1313)

With the previous reviewer. Good not great, and I have had better. Visited NYC for the second time from Ohio. Four of us had dinner here. My filet was perfect I will say and priced accordingly. My salad, however, was not much of a salad, a tomatoe, and cheese, and I paid 16 bucks for it. Way over priced. The building was so hot, we had trouble enjoying the meal. Over all, I would recommend this for a visit, but maybe they were having an off night, as everything seemed to fall slightly below our expectations. We have had better in NYC and much better here in Ohio. Our reservation was honored, and we were sat immediately.

4 Stars: Good, not great! (by rocconj77)

I enjoyed my expreience at DP. The staff was friendly and helpful. The setup and overall feel is great. Wonderful hip music played in the background. The appitizers were excellent. But when it came down to the steak, it wasn't the best I ever had. I split the porterhouse with my wife and it was tasty, but for the money we paid it should have been much larger and a better piece of meat. DP was nice and the food was good, but the place is very ecpensive and if your gonna pay that kind of money there are better steakhouses in the city.

5 Stars: Best steakhouse in NY (by mynameismita)

Forget about Peter Luger's & Morton's, Dylan Prime is the best steakhouse in NY. I've been there 5 times now in the past month and a half and can't stop going. For appetizers I recommend the Fondue with beef tips. They come with fried bacon and onion as a "rub," as well. I also suggest the charred foie gras with grapes (if they have it that day). For a meal, I always get the 11oz. filet mignon with foie gras butter and the black pepper sauce (although the house steak sauce is also great) as well as a side of fries. The Lemoncello & maple syrup martinis are the best in NY. Most meals for two seem to come to around $200 after tip which isn't bad considering the quality.

5 Stars: The perfect steakhouse (by olive75)

You know when you want a really good steak, but you also want to go somewhere the ambience is a little less testoserone driven, well the options were few and far between, before I found this gem! We go there often, and have never been disappointed! The fondue is amazing, as are all of the cuts of meat! We had some friends meet us there and they brought their two small children, I was worried that the staff would be snooty about the kids, but they were extremely accomidating and just as professional and plesant as always! The connected bar/lounge, is a great option for a more casual night. Oh.. their wine selection is top-notch, as are their cocktails!! Highly recommended!!

4 Stars: Always a wait-even with a reservation! (by irocnyc)

I really love Dylan Prime, and I wish that they would honor my reservations. I have been there 5 times now and each time, I had a reservation. They immediately direct you to the bar where you spend 40 bucks on drinks waiting for your table. Next time I will make my reservation for 8 if I want to eat at 9 and have a snack first. And forget Valentines day, what a debaucle, an hour long wait past our reservation time. When you do get to order, make sure you order a filet mignon with a parmesan chapeaux, my favorite. And their side dishes are great.

3 Stars: Odd dinner experience (by mr_meursault)

We came here for dinner in a group of six. They sat us at a table which could accommodate ten. This would normally be a good thing, but the restaurant is so incredibly loud that we could not carry on a conversation over the table. At the end, I left exhausted from the noise level. The food was very good if you don't count the steaks. The steaks are fairly tasteless. However, the fish and crab are good, as are the appetizers such as crab cakes, scallops, and shrimp. Thus, this is is only steakhouse where I recommend that you order the seafood. The service was fairly effective. The drinks were interesting and very expensive. I would recommend coming here for a bar night, but not for dinner.

1 Stars: Past it's prime (by lhvaughn)

I recently took a group of out-of-town friends to DP based solely on Citysearchs review. Big mistake. I was completely embarrassed by the loud Webster Hall-like music, and I was shocked to look around me and see that I was surrounded by a decidedly B&T crowd. So much for New York sophistication.

The steak was decent, although our appetizers and side orders were completely average. The service was without a doubt absolutely disastrous. Our marathon three-hour dinner included having to ask several times to have our finished plates removed and waiting incredibly long stretches of time between courses. The wine list is horrible- everything we chose under $100 seemed to be magically unavailable. Our waiter wouldnt have known the difference between a Syrah and Shiraz if it bit him on the hiney. The sommelier failed to appear at our table despite numerous requests. Skip this place and go somewhere else.

I have been to Dylan many times and was so pleased with the experience we had on Saturday night. The staff was attentive and accommodating, we were seated right when we arrived. The waitress was very helpful in selecting wine for the evening as well as recommending specials and pairing our entree's with a variety of sauces and chapaeux(s). This was quite a feat considering we had such a large group! We consistently taken care of throughout the evening. Our steaks were done absolutely as ordered, and delicious.
1 Stars: Will Never Eat Here Again (by jendfrank)

Dylan Prime is one of an increasingly small number of restaurants in NYC that take reservations for large groups. Don't let that fool you into thinking this restaurant is "good for groups" unless you want to scream over the table at your fellow diners and wait at least 15 minutes for a wine glass to appear on your table.

Dylan Prime is loud (both the acoustics and the cheesy music) and the service is horrible. The wine list is disappointing and some of the wines on the relatively small list are not even available. The wine prices are ridiculous -- one bottle that retails for $25 in New York was on the list for over $90! Wine service was horrible as well.

The food was decent but by the time you get to that, who cares?

What a great restaurant...the portions are plenty. Not sure what everyone has been talking about. We each got the 11oz filet and we shared two sides plus we both got soup and we were plenty full. The food was fantastic and so was the service. I proposed a few hours earlier and they made sure we got a great booth. I would definitely go back...with drinks for both of us the bill was around $150.

3 Stars: Only the meat is "Prime" at Dylan Prime (by bdorfman)

The meat served at this trendy, yet out of the way eatery was close to a "normal" portion size, rather than the standard bigger than the plate offerings of other established steakhouses, and was prepared close to "as ordered." The tiny sides were tasty, but you need more than one for more than one. The "Dylan" steak sauce is excellent. The wait staff seemed inexperienced, e.g. no specials were offered until asked for; we went through two waiters before a third was presented who knew something about the wine list. There is not much wine on the list under $100, of which they were out of some, but could not say which. Our experience was very average with a high price tag - you do the math.

The ambience, food, and service were divine. We dined there with our out-of-town guests and were impressed with tatsy selections of chapeau and the bearnaise, peppercorn, and buerre blanc sauces. The filet mignon was perfectly crusted with maytag blue cheese and chive. Loved the potatoes and the almond green beans. The dessert is crucial and make sure to save room for the tasty cake-tails and Pie-tinis. Beautifully lit and romantic. Looking forward to many more visits.

4 Stars: Dylan Prime (by Geraldo P.)

Dylan Prime could easily be the future of steakhouses in New York. Catering to a young, hip crowd they serve high quality steaks here and the sides are more imaginative than the standard fare you might find at places like the Palm or Gallaghers. If you have a reservation it has been my experience you are actually seated promptly. This is a good place to go with a couple of friends in need of protein before an evening of clubbing.

Our friends brought us here for the first time the other night. We had a blast. It was a great interactive dining experience. The family style serving of the big martini, fondue, side dishes and dessert was so much fun. With the energy of the dining room it was like having 200 friends over for diner. The steaks were great. I loved the green beans and asparagus. The cocktails in the bar unmatched. Then dessert, the pie martinis (tasty) and the chocolate porterhouse cake were too cool.

I just went to Dylan Prime for my birthday and had one of the most FABULOUS dining experiences ever - amazing food and spectacular service. The cheese fondue was delicious; the steak was sublime - with a lovely bordelaise sauce, as recommended by my very knowledgeable server; the horseradish mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were delightful; the drinks were awesome; and the dessert, an extraordinarily delectable molten chocolate cake with ice cream, was superb - replete with birthday candle and all...did I mention how phenomenal the service was??
5 Stars: Best bartenders and drinks in the city!! (by cshift1)

I was at Dylan Prime a few of weeks ago with some friends and had a wonderful time at the lounge bar. We were served some of the best mixed martinis in the city by a very attractive and tall asian bartender. She made our night! The food was wonderful, and the vibe of the bar was very comfortable. Chic but not snobby. Cheers Dylan! Keep the cold drinks comming.

5 Stars: downtown upscale (by mphnyc)

Dylan prime is 'off the beated track' but certainly worth a visit. With much more than just steak, the menu has grown since I was first there a lot. Service was GREAT - our waiter went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Steak cooked to perfection, sides were execellent (if not a bit on the small side for what you'd be used to at a steakhouse). I wouldn't go here for a true steakhouse experience, it's more of an upscale downtown restaurant with a great martini menu, fabu service, and a pension for a good piece of red meat. Be sure to sit in the main dining room for a more romantic visit, bar upfront is loud but enjoyable

5 Stars: Love this place!! (by north_fargo)

The steak was great, my dates halibit was delicious, loved the sides (green beans and muushrooms). I drank beer, but I tried her apple martini, It was great not sour at all. Waitress was friendly, busboy was attentive. Table next to us got a bit loud, but that's part of dining out. Thank you citysearch for helping me find this place!

3 Stars: Very average (by nicolanyc)

I was quite disappointed with this place, food was over priced and my steak was so burnt it was barely recognizable. But the worst part was the waitress; for a restaurant of this standard I expect better, she would have been more suited at TGI Fridays! She was simply unprofessional, bordering on rude and even got our check wrong without apology. There are better places to spend your money.

i love their steak and all the sauces. wish service was better. went of a friday, wasn't that busy there but the wait staff is very, very, very slow. the water guy was extremely attentive, thank god he was because we had to ask him for our waitress many times: for ordering our food, more drinks, dessert and check. like i said it wasn't busy that night - many tables empty.

5 Stars: Perfect Evening (by gauchoholic)

We started with some fabulous bellinis at the bar. We were seated in a cozy corner booth and started with a delicious salad and great lobster bisque. The main corses on Prime Rib and the carpetbagger were perfect. But the best part of the meal were the truffle oil pototoes, by far the best potatoes I've ever had. The whole experience couldn't have been better.

5 Stars: the best (by whiskeypissed)

I have been coming here on my birthday w/ my steak snob father for 3 years. My father has never not sent a piece of meat back and looked disgusted...until Dylan Prime. He ordered his PR "black & blue." It actually came out black & blue. He loved it. I wasn't even eating red meat at the time of our 1st visit. I had the salmon; possibly the best I've ever had. I've never had one complaint here. The service is A+, as is the food. We met up in the bar, where the drinks were pricey but generous. It's incredibly expensive, but I still rated it as a value because this is the price you pay for perfection in all facets of a dining experience. In fact, I'd pay more.

5 Stars: Wow (by writerboy)

Personally, I loved this place. I am a martini guy - vodka, not gin - and their classic martini with blue cheese olives is pretty damn near definitive. And they know to shake it until it's cold - and keep going. I followed this up with a "Carpet-bagger" steak - a beautiful marbled prime steak, stuffed with oysters, and then a guinesss, brown sugar glaze?

And then I had my arm twisted to try one of their dessert martinis - a pietini. We had a round for the table, so I got to try several. This is the best way to do this, because once you've tried one, curiousity will make you want to sample them all. Everything I tried tasted EXACTLY like the dessert it was named after.

A little upscale, but if you're looking for an impressive place to take a client or a date, I wouldn't hesitate.

So, good. We had a couple drinks at the bar. before dinner. It was a wonderful Saturday evening and all the windows in the front were open. Food was great. THe cheese fondue was excellent, as were the steaks, wine, and sides. If your going on a date call ahead for a more private seating area like the booths, those were great.

1 Stars: Ruined My Evening (by mistylou)

Dylan Prime was a huge disappointment. The worst part, by far, was the service. Our waitress was merely inattentive at first but became just plain hostile after we had the nerve to ask about the wine we had ordered to go with dinner (we were halfway through our entrees and still no wine). In terms of the food, the mixed green salad had no flavor and my "medium rare" tuna was an unappetizing shade of gray. The famed martinis are more gimmicky than tasty. Good mashed potatoes, but they are definitely not worth the pain of enduring another meal at this place. New York is filled with wonderful restaurants. Why on earth is this place so popular???

...My friend told me I'd say that when I tried one of their pietini dessert cocktails and I did. I had the peach cobbler she had the keylime pie. We went to the bar where we drank mojitos. We ordered beef wellingtons, calamarie and fried oysters all really good. Then we drank our desserts. I'm really looking forward to going back and having diner in the restaurant part (and dessert in the bar)

I've been to peter's, wolfgang's, and nick&stef's Bt this ROCKED!!!! I went with 3 other people two ordered the prime rib (WOW!!!! a MUST!!!! TRULY GREAT!!!!) one ordered the carpetbager (Ok, does it get any better?--no i think not! another WoW!) I had the wellington. The Bar was great...strong drinks too... the staff was wonderful... the lighting was great, romantic/trendy if you would

when you think about hitting a steakhouse THIS should be your pick (its a cant miss if your in your 20's and dont want to be sitting next to your father's friends in those other steakhouses!)

when was the last time you went to a trendy place and was able to hear the person across from you??? hasnt happened to me in sometime... this place was great!!!

Taking Citysearch's advice my wife and I chose the highest rated 'romantic' restaurant. Aside from our table not being ready upon arrival and the extremely loud dining area...made conversation hard, we had a great time. The food is outstanding...I had the Carpetbagger Steak which I could cut with a fork!! They also have a great drink menu. I would highly recommend Dylan Prime!

I LOVE CITYSEARCH! Without it i would have never found such a great place. Brought my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. Ambiance was great; we were sat in a romantic corner booth which enabled us to sit closer together. The service was excellent; our server Sebastian made very helpfull recommendations and left us wanting for nothing more. My wine glass and water glass were never empty. I asked where the ladies room was and the hostice actually walked me there. What about the food? SUPERB STEAKS!! He got the carpetbagger and i went a-la-carte which i would recommend b/c you can then build your own meal. I asked for the steak to be cooked a certain way and it couldn't have been better! Mouth Watering! Be sure to try the Green Beans with almonds and garlic. Truely an amazing side dish with incredible flavor. A+++ to Dylan Prime!

5 Stars: Best Steak in New York (by chape)

We arrived there at 9:00pm on a Thursday night with our party of 6. The decor is absolutely sensational yet cozy and energetic. People were sipping on their cocktails having enjoyable conversations. Young crowd, pretty faces. The food was excellent!!! Try the ribs they are out of this world. I had a NY strip steak it was so juicy and full of flavor with a choice of sauce (herb béarnaise). The service was excellent. Our waiter was so polite and accommodating with his humble suggestions to help us with our choices. It's great for a romantic dinner; make sure to reserve a table/both next to the cellar. We loved, it loved it, loved.

The bar scene is really good. Nice dark room, good mellow acid jazz and world music (I actually heard Ozomatli) playing really sets the mood. Lots of good looking people. Friendly staff... sit at the bar and watch your drink keep getting refilled!

The restaurant was top notch too. There may be better Steaks in the city, but no place can bring both the food, and people together like this one. If you are under 40 and want a nice steak and fun, come downtown first.

You know when people ask you for some place new to eat for a good meal? If they're meat-eaters, I recommend this place. The ambience is sleek (almost too sleek), the service is great, and the food is amazing. We started with the fondue and all had the filet mignon, two of us with the mushroom chapeau. Absolutely delicious, good cut, nicely cooked... Side dishes were great and when we shared dessert, I ordered a pie-tini (key lime w/ a graham cracker rim) which was a dessert in itself, I found! I can't wait for the next special occasion that brings us back here.

4 Stars: good food, average service (by jbesq)

Nice place to go with a group, even though it's in an out of the way location. The ambience is pretty cool, and there's a nice bar scene in the lounge area. Although the food was good, it wasn't quite worth the price tag. The steak was well prepared and the apps were tasty, but we weren't blown away. The service was only average - even with reservations we waited 40 minutes, and had to ask for our table, which had been ready, the hostess just never bothered to tell us. Overall - I'd recommend the restaurant for a group night out, but be prepared to spend some cash.

3 Stars: Nothing Special (by whitmor)

I was expecting more. My 'larger' filet mignon was small and not very tender or tasty. I had to drench it in sauce, which is usually a sign that the steak does not have much flavor. We ordered a side of cream of spinach and fries. The spinach was barely cream style, more like sauteed spinach. Even worse, it was a very, very small serving. Fries were good though. My friend order the T-Bone...nothing special. Overall it is a pretty cool environment but the food is nothing great. Its fine, but not a top steakhouse in NYC by any stretch.

1 Stars: The Worst Dining Experience Ever (by michellesalt28)

We made the mistake of ordering the 2 lb lobster. It was more like a 1 lb lobster. We complained and ordered another one in the shell to gauge the size. The manager came out very defensively and insisted that it was a 2 lb lobster. When we asked to see one in the shell, she disappeard for 15 minutes and to no great surprise, came out to tell us that they did not have one in the shell. According to her, the lobster is boiled in the am, then broiled upon request in the evening and it seems small b/c the lobster shrinks down when broiled. what? She then suggested that if we did not like it, we should dine elsewhere. Well, finally we both agree on something--won't ever dine there again. The owner was equally defensive and downright monkey-like. 0's across the board.

This place was recommended to me by my girlfriend. I cannot remember the last time I had such a great dining experience!!!! The staff was helpful and very attentive. Have the Fondue and the Carpetbagger Steak and you wont be disappointed. After dinner head to their sexy candle-lit lounge for an equally terrific experience. And don't forget to try their dessert cocktails (Pietins)YUM!!!!!!!

5 Stars: Steak and the City (by greenalien)

This is a delicious place both for the eye and the palate. With a romantic setting with dim lighting and funky decor, topped off with good service and probably the best steak Ive had, how can you go wrong?

The horseradish mash potatoes and a New York strip with foie gras truffle butter as chapeaux were just divine. The only bad thing was when the waiter put regular tap in glass with mineral water! Oh la la we said service was good, not exceptional.

5 Stars: GREAT STEAK & WINE (by nabelita)

I keep going back to this place b/c I love the steak and wine selection. Try a chapeau on your steak and don't pass on the horseradish mashed potatoes or collard greens with bacon and brown sugar. Everything here is delicious and the portions are standard for a steak place. The service was also attentive and professional.

4 Stars: Swank and Steak (by delbomber)

Chic and cozy, the atmosphere certainly lives up the hype.

The fondue is a fun start and the salmon tartare was a bigger portion than I had anticipated. The dining experience was above average overall (aided by a great zinfandel), but my biggest complaint was with my cut of meat. It's difficult to find the grizzle in such dim lighting, so I found myself ingesting a lot more fat than I like, epsecially for the price.

If dining for two, split the "accessories". Unless you love bleu cheese, pass on the maytag bleu & chive chapeau, as it overpowered the flavor of my NY strip. I traded my bleu cheese topping with my girlfriend for her "wild mushroom & truffle" chapeaux, and we both agreed it was a finer pairing.

Finally, there might be more exciting desserts, but the banana split is simply delectable.

5 Stars: THE BEST PLACE EVER (by seximonkee1980)

Took a lil trip to find but we hopped in a taxi and found it... i can't even begin to say what an amazing place. Me and my date had resevation at 10 and right on time were seated in the most comfortable booth overlooking all the wine bottles. romantic candlelight. The chocolate martinis got me quiet buzzed. I had the crabcakes for appetizer and they were amazing. The filet mignon was superior both cooked the way we asked. chocolate cake was out of this world...potatoes asparagus and mushroom sides were great

I went here with my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary, and it was the most delicious meal I've had in a while. The waiter was exptremely friendly and attentive, the wine list was reasonably priced, and the steak makes my mouth water just thinking about it. You can have your steak prepared with a crispy parmesan and garlic topping that is like nothign you've ever tried. Highly recommended, especially for a romantic evening.

A sexy place that doesn't pay attention to what's cooking. Every one of our 6 steaks was way overdone. And the side dishes are a joke--$7 for 3 tablespoons of spinach!!!
4 Stars: Great atmosphere, decent food (by kennynyc)

I've been waiting to try Dylan Prime forever, so perhaps my expectations for the food were unreasonably high. It's a really well-designed restaurant. The extremely high ceilings are really cool. The seating is spaced nicely (so that you're not on top of the party sitting next to you). It's a little loud...but I think in a good way. As for the food, I've had better. Tried the T-bone...the filet portion was miniscule (four bites at most). The strip portion was a little dry...a little too fatty on the edges. Perhaps I chose the wrong cut though. For sides: creamed spinach was good; potato cakes had this strange bisquick-y taste about them. Skipped dessert because the portions were big enough to fill me up. Definitely willing to go back to try other selections.

We had a great time at Dylan Prime. The fondue was delicious; the filet mignon and sea bass were also good. The martinis are nice too. However, I advise that you be VERY specific when ordering the meat because my husband said "medium well" and got a steak that was well done (with no pink in the middle). Finally, the booths are cozy and it's romantic to sit close together on soft leather.

Romantic from the outside, this place has great mood lighting. we got great food and service, but with a lot of noise. I didn't appreciate the seating, couples we're given the least privacy. our table was 6 inches from the next couple, in a row of 5. with regard to the food, it is quite good, but the plate presentation and garnish could use a lot of improvement. love that they use white crockery. overall, i would go again, not for romance, but for a night on the town.

Wonderful food. A nice suprise. Quality of the food was very good. Steaks prepared perfectly prepared, the fondue amazing - all good. Cant go wrong. Worth the price. Service was weak. They tend to "leave you alone", which is typical of NYC...however it would be nice to find someone when you would like to pay the check. Location?

i am a bourbon drinker, and i find myself often disappointed with the way many bars mix manhattans -- but dylan prime DAZZLED -- a truly great manhattan -- perfect balance of bitters and bourbon -- their secret is a twist of lemon and orange oil..... appetizers were not great, but the main course was well prepared -- and the sides were OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD!!!! -- order the spagetti squash! service was terrible (empty water glasses, etc), but apologetic, so that wasn't so bad.... definitely worth a visit!

5 Stars: Prime time (by Katjh80)

This is definitely not your typical steak house. The atmopshere is great and the food is fantastic! The steaks are tender and juicy and the sides are all delicious. I came here with a party of 6 and everyone loved what they ordered from steak to fish. The drinks are great and they have a few huge martinis to choose from that can serve the whole table. The service is prompt and courteous. Although this restaurant is off the beaten path, it is well worth the hike.

4 Stars: Great experience (by lmckerley)

We had a great dinner at Dylan Prime. The drinks were big and fabulous and so was the fondue and the steak. Our waiter was top notch.

One minor complaint -- no privacy in the bathroom! Your fellow diners can catch you en flagrante whenever the door opens.

Went to Dylan Prime for a b-day party. It was superb. I have never had a Filet Mignon taste that good, ever. I was also really amused by the "chapeaux" (hat) you could pick for your steak. Don't miss out on that.

1 Stars: Pass on Prime! (by ekp)

What a disappointment. I have been to this restuarant several times since it opened and always thought it offered great food, service and ambience - NOT ANYMORE! From the moment we arrived things went downhill. We waited 45 minutes for our reservation. Our appetizers were served cold, one of which was fondue. The steaks were dry and laking in taste. Fish that was supposed to be well done was served medimum rare. It was so disappointing to look forward to a nice meal out and then have it turn out the way it did. I will not return!

5 Stars: a new classic (by tabber)

I first went here about a year ago, on a second date with my current gf and we had the greatest time. It was dark, romantic and stylish, but not pretentious. The drinks were great, we were both treated with great respect and the waiters had absolutely no attitude problem (common to many places like Dylan prime in price and aesthetics).
Anyway, I also found the place functions well for larger groups as I had dinner there in celebration of graduating from law school in May and with a group of 8 people thought at least one would not like it. Wrong, they all loved the variety on the menu and appreciated the non-attiutude (some of my guests were from out of town and also found the service to be quite friendly). Way to go dylan prime...a new classic. Oh and, the steaks are great.

3 Stars: Best Restaurant--PLEASE! (by emma3)

Listen, I hate to knock at TriBeCa restaurant because we should support lower Manhattan but this isn't evene in the top 50 Best Restaurants in Manhattan! (Just ask the far more reliable Zagat's, at least they were reliable until they changed THEIR voting method to the web.) At best, it's a mediocre Wall Streeter steak house. The steaks are good but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. And I don't need a huge martini, I need a GGOD one! City Hall Restaurant, right down the street, is a much better bet ALL the way around!

5 Stars: My Favorite Restaurant in NYC (by Dorsia)

This place has a little something for everyone. Good atmosphere, good service, dynamite wine selection, a great pre- and after dinner cocktail lounge, and, of course, great food. In the past 18 months I have been no less than 10 times, for all kinds of reasons: business, family, friends, and dates. It just seems to work for all occasions. How can you miss with a table mojito and fondue before dinner, and enough choices to keep even the most ardent red-meat hater happy? Personally, I almost always get he porterhouse when I'm there.

I cannot recommend Dylan Prime enough. There is something for everyone.

Always perfect. Dylan is the perfect balance of casual elegance. Never stuffy or pretentious, but altogether the picture of class and refinement. In my dozen or so times here, the service has been infallible and the food, outstanding. One of the top 10 restaurants in the city, barnone.

4 Stars: 7 (by jjrrww)

nice place, wonderful atmosphere, perfect lighting. good drinks. would have liked the food to have been prepared as requested. the waiter made one or two condescending comments but they got a laugh out of our party. some people would maybe not appreciate it however. all in all, a good experience. side dishes were great.

4 Stars: Among the Best of New York (by Brocework)

I had just returned from Vegas, where I had one of the best steaks of my life at Emeril's place at The Venetian (Delmonico's). Dylan's KC strip (bone in) was better. Probably eaten there four times, every time it's been excellent. When the room is hopping, it is one of the more wholly-enjoyable dining experiences in Manhattan. Good bar too!

5 Stars: Best filet EVER! (by maria17)

I dined at Dylan on Saturday evening, 5/18 with 4 friends. The experience was almost perfection. The cheese fondue was fabulous and fun, the bibb lettuce salad with maytag blue cheese was delish and the filet mignon was by far, the best I've ever had. Try it with the black truffle sauce - a culinary delight. The only drawback was when the waiter kept addressing us as "guys."
