DOI had the worst quality, customer service and professionalism I have ever experienced at a print shop. I will NEVER go there again and I wish I had some way to get my 30 minutes (spent arguing) and $9 (thrown away) back from them.

I went to DOI to print out an 8X10 picture of my fiance and I that I wanted to frame and put on display at our wedding the following weekend. I went to DOI during lunch and was told to use the machine to order my print. When I put my disk into the kiosk, and chose the picture I wanted, I wasn't quite sure that I was doing it correctly, so I called over the man working behind the counter and he proceeded to help me crop the picture I had chosen and he then sent it to print. I paid for the picture up-front (wish I hadn't) and he told me to come back before 6 PM to pick up the print.

I went back to DOI around 5:15 PM after work (another 15 minute walk) and when I saw the print, it was all blurry -- I mean, the picture came out really awful and there was no way I could frame it at my wedding. I made the mistake of assuming that since a DOI employee helped me, I would have been advised that cropping the picture could distort it. I argued that I wanted my money back, which the woman behind the counter refused to give me. She argued that it was not DOI's fault, it was my/ the picture's fault, but if I wanted, I could go home, check to see if the picture image itself was blurry (which it wasn't), then come back the next day and get another print if I wanted. Unfortunately, I couldn't go back the next day because it was the day before my wedding and I had taken off work the next day -- which I told her. If the woman's suggestion was truly a solution, however, she still had time -- it was still 30 minutes before closing -- to take my disk, check on HER computer to see whether the image was blurry and make me another, un-cropped print. I suggested that she do this but she refused because she wanted to go home and did not care at all about my wasted $9. The woman was also very sarcastic and when I told her that $9 was expensive for the garbage they produced, she corrected me and said it wasn't $9, it was $8.50! Aren't I ridiculous?!

The staff at Doi is by far the most experienced and helpful. Chockfull of the newest camera technology and they are able to answer any question posed by customers.
