Hair Above

I love Debbie. She knows about the current recession and does a PHENOMENAL job for a reasonable price. My hair has never looked so good, and I am used to going to the salon masters in NYC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I go to Rosie, and she does a great job with my hair. I have tried many other places and this is the best place. The owners are very friendly and the people that work there are nice. The prices are comparable to other places around town.

They are the hair color specialists! Debbie is amazing and knows color like no other hair dresser. I've been coming here for years and would NEVER deviate to another salon. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere and they always take me on time, never a wait! I would recommend HAIR ABOVE to anyone in the Glen Cove area.

Thanks to Debbie the owner, I've been going to Hair Above Salon for many years. She does exactly what i want , and yet she has so much experience that she will be honest with me if she thinks what i want will look less than becoming. I have developed a lot of trust in her over the years.She is a classy lady, always friendly and courteous and always wants her customers to be 100% satisfied. Everyone there is very good, including the hair washers and the stylists. My hair color looks so perfect and stunning that i highly recommend this place....and no, it's not more expensive than any other place with some class!

I have just recently been introduced to Hair Above and have to say this establishment is absoloutely wonderful. They have an enormous amount of styles you can choose from and the prices are reasonable for this type of establishment. The environment can only be described as small, cozy, and delightful. The stylists really do try to help you find the best style for you. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new hair stylist.

Hair Above in Glen Cove is a great place for a haircut, even for men. I've been going there for years, and although I've had about 40 different stylists, each of them is very professional and gives a great hair cut. They are a tad expensive, but nothing not to be expected from a full service hair salon. they offer all services you could want - waxing, coloring, hair treatment, piercings, etc. Again, I've never had a bad experience there, and highly recommend the salon to anyone.

PROS: Full service salon, great service, very professional
CONS: Cost can be a tad high
