I'm 70 years old. I dealt with one of the new salesmen. I told them not to give me any bs and I would buy a car from them. They sharpened their pencil and I bought a new truck. They did everything they said they were going to do. That means alot to an old fart like me. I will recommend Mr. Dave Smiths Ford to my friends any day.

Nice dealership. I recently had an oil change done at this dealership. Price was good, about $35, plus I get a carwash ticket. Which is a nice touch. Nina (I'm guessing the receptionist) called about two days later. She just wanted to know if everything was done to my liking. Customer Service is a biggy with me. My simple oil change did not go unnoticed, and that tells me that the folks at Dave Smith Ford care about their customer satisfaction.

I was in process of moving from Massachusetts to my new job in North Dakota when my old truck broke down on I 90. I had to get it towed somewhere so they took it to this service dealership Dave Smith. this happened on a Tuesday, and I had to be ready for work on the following Monday. The folks at this dealership went out of their way to get me a rental that would fit all of my stuff. They fixed my truck for a decent price so I was able to fly back and get it the following week. They are honest folks because they could have really stuck it to me since they already had my truck, but they didn't. They fixed it for arouond $500. I would HIGHLY recommend these folks if you ever need emergency repairs if you are on the road.

I went to Dave Smiths Ford because they are close to where I work.

I bought a new F150 and everything went smooth. The truck I bought had a small blemish in the paint that they fixed right away.

I recommend this dealership because they are more relaxed than the other places I have bought vehicles.

About six months ago I purchased a 2009 Ford Escape from Dave Smith Ford. I bought it used because my credit was pretty bad. I liked the way Cliff worked with me to get a nice vehicle. I got the lifetime powertrain plan at no charge. I have been doing my required oil changes with the guys in their Service Department. I thought they might try to gouge me on the prices for maintenance, but they have been very much in line with what I used to pay at Walmart. Go to them if you need help with your credit. My interest rate wasn't too high so I feel pretty good that I didn't get screwed because of my bad credit. I give these people a good rating because they are all friendly, and seem to genuinely enjoy their work.

Recently I had to take my 2006 Fusion in to the dealership for a recall. Since the dealership that I bought the car from is now gone, I googled to see where to take my car. I took it to Dave Smith Ford in Williamsville because they had some positive reviews.

While my car was in for the recall, they asked me if I would like to take advantage of some of the other discounted services that they had at the time. I should say that I usually take my car to the quick lube down the street, so I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were at the dealership. Usually the dealer's prices are alot higher.

I was able to get the recall done quickly, and I also had the "works " package done. My car was done right, and they also gave me a voucher for a car wash. I was out the door for under $50 and I know that my car was done right. Check out this dealership because they are nice people and will treat you right!

I have been getting my old truck serviced here for a couple years now. The Service Department always seems to do a good job, and the price is pretty much the same as AAA so I would rather get it done at the dealership.

Last time I was in, I saw Dave Smith talking to a few people in the service lane. I don't think they were close friends, but it was good to see the owner talking (joking around) with the customers.

It seems like they run a good shop here, and I give them a good rating for that.

I just picked up my second Dave Smith Ford, this time an F150. I love it! My first car from Dave Smith was a Taurus SHO. I purchased both from Kevin Burlingame.

I was very specific as to what I wanted on the F150, including the V6 EcoBoost engine. Kevin Burlingame at Dave Smith found me exactly what I wanted. Exactly.
On delivery the detail shop had the paint and chrome shining, the prep was exceptional, no surprises or leftover paper and plastic. Kevin walked me through using all of the truck features.

Everyone in the dealership has always treated my entire family with respect and with exceptional customer service. The service department is always helpful and accommodating.

My wife will be working with Kevin to find my daughter a new car later this summer.

I just picked up my new car at Dave Smith Ford! I bought a used car, but it is my first car, and my dad came with me and it was a really good experience!

I picked up a 2007 Ford Focus with only 45,000 miles on it! It is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I am going away to college next year so my parents told me to find a nice car with lower miles on it that also gets good gas mileage.

I did my research and narrowed my cars down to the Focus, the Corolla, and the Civic. I found a bunch of other cars around town, but nobody wanted to talk to me since I probably look like I can't buy a car. I saw this particular Focus online and went in to Dave Smith Ford dealership to see it in person.

I can't remember the salesman's name, but he came right out to help me. He wasn't pushy, only asked me what I was going to use it for, how many miles I drive, etc. After he let me drive the car, I finally told him that my parents were going to buy the car for me to take to school in the Fall. He even let me take the car home to show my mom and dad during his dinner break.

Needless to say, I came back with my dad after dinner, and we bought the car that night. The price was great, and the car is in excellent condition.

I really felt like I was treated the best at this dealership. Most other salespeople wouldn't give me the time of day, but the salesperson at this dealership went over and above to help me buy a car! I'm very happy!

I recently took my 2007 Fusion to the Quicklane at Dave Smith Ford. I had an oil change and regular maintenance, and a car wash done in just about 30 minutes.

I used to take my car to Monroe, but the kids working there didn't seem to know what they were doing. I feel better having a Ford mechanic work on my car.

I had service done to my truck. They asked if I could possibly leave an honest review of my experience.

I was pleased with the work performed. I had the transmission service, tire rotation, and oil service. It was all done in a timely fashion for a decent price (around $450 for the 30k service).

I was happy to get my truck back nice and clean. There wasn't any grease stains on the inside of the truck.

I appreciate that they took the time to give me back my truck the way I gave it to them.

I just bought a car from these people and I was happy with the whole deal.

I made them an offer on a 2008 Escape that was listed online.

They countered and we got it done. The guys in the Used Car building were fun to deal with.

They asked me to write an honest review of my experience.

I leased a new Fusion from Dave Smith Ford two months ago. I started my search by looking at the Ford website. I liked the looks of the Ford Fusion so I sent an email in to the dealership. I got a reply almost immediately from a nice young lady named Brittany. She was able to get me all of the information I needed at that point. I should point out that I did NOT get this same response from any other dealer.

I checked out Dave Smith Ford online prior to my visit, and was happy to see several good reviews.

I met Brittany at the dealership a few days later. She had a representative car waiting for me to take for a test drive. I drove the Fusion and I really thought it fit my needs perfectly. I just wanted a nice looking car that gets good gas mileage, and also fit my $250ish monthly budget.

Brittany worked several different payment deals out for me. I looked at buying versus leasing. Ultimately, I chose to lease the car because I want to be able to get into the new model in a couple years. The payments on this car are VERY affordable.
I did my research, and I am pleased to give Brittany, and Dave Smith Ford an EXCELLENT rating!

I have just purchased my first ford. I am totally satisfied with my experience. I worked with Kevin (Duece) and he made the process very smooth. I purchased a 2012 escape. It was my birthday and he went the extra mile to get me the better package.
He has a easy manner and a great personality and it shows in how he does business. It is totally refreshing to do business in this day in age with a person like Kevin. I just leased a new Ford Focus from Dave Smith Ford and I LOVE it! My experience at Dave Smith Ford was great thanks to top of the line service from the whole team, but especially from the pleasant and honest salesmen, who I was lucky enough to have take care of me, Kevin Byrlingame. Kevin was great. He made my first time leasing a car easy, fast and exciting! He set me up with the best deals compared to the many other dealerships I looked at and made me feel comfortable in making the purchase. Dave Smith Ford definitely knows how to take care of their customers. As a previous Ford owner of many years I can say I have always been satisfied with the quality of my vehicle and the quality of the service at this dealership. My husband and I bought a new Ford Escape (which we love!) last month. I was so happy and impressed with how easy it was to get it all done that I told my salesman ( he was new but he was smart, and very honest) that I wanted to refer some friends. They asked me if I wouldn't mind leaving a positive review online. I said "of course I would!"
My husband and I had been thinking of a new Escape for the last 6 months or so. We drove to Dave Smith Ford when they were closed, and we had our eye on one they had in stock. Towards the end of the month we could tell that they were selling alot of them so we wanted to go in and see if we could afford the new Ford Escape.
To make a long story short, we bought the one we wanted, and we love it. The whole process was very easy. They spelled out all of the numbers so we could understand what we were looking at. It just seemed like there was no smoke and mirror nonsense that we have experienced in the past elsewhere. We will be back for service, and we will also tell as many of our friends to also buy from Dave Smith Ford!!!!

My parents have been coming to this dealership for many years to get the oil changed on their 2 cars. I bought an old car while I was away at school last year and I now do service at this dealership. I like the guys in the service department. They are all very nice, and they seem like they really enjoy working at Dave Smith Ford. It must be a good place to work. I like working with Nick Yager in the service lane. He seems like he is a really cool guy, and he is honest when it comes to letting me know what my car needs when I bring it there. He is totally no pressure. I was looking at some of their used cars last month. The used cars all seemed like they were in really good shape. I was impressed with the way the folks at Dave Smith Ford handled my problem. I recently bought a used car at Dave Smith Ford, and a couple weeks after I picked it up I started hearing a noise from under the steering column. The car was out of factory warranty, but they still took care of my problem and didn't have to pay anything.
I think it says alot about the dealership because something like that happened to me at another dealership (not the same problem, but still a problem), and they were not as professional as the service advisors at Dave Smith Ford.
Obviously nobody likes to have problems with their new car, but I think in this case Dave Smith Ford went above and beyond to keep me as a satisfied customer.
I will definitely go back to Dave Smith Ford when I am ready for another car.

I had a great experience working with Larry Hickmott. I found him to be staright forward with me throughout the entire process. I bought a brand new Edge and I love it! i took my 08 f350 super duty in for a electrical problem with my brake lights and parking lights. And while it was there had them replace the 2 fuel filters also and when I was told how much I almost past out!!! It cost me 980 dollars to replace a wire and connecter and 2 fuel filters!! So then my battery light comes on while my truck there so I tell them to go ahead and see what that problem is by the way that's before I knew how much the other stuff was costing me. They charged me 150 dollars to tell me I needed a new altenater !!! So then they said it would cost another 900 dollars to replace that. So I paid the 980 and bought the altenater for 191 dollars and my friend put it in for 50 bucks!!! I will never take my truck there again!! They milk you for all they can and it's pretty sad that's how they do business!! Well I learned my lesson!!

Dave Smith Ford service is horrifying. There was a recall on my 1999 Ford Windstar. In October I went in with the recall on a Saturday. I sat there for 2 1/2 hours while the service guy talked to Ford about the recall. He was negotiating a buy back. I informed him I will not do a buy back because I just put a brand new transmission in the car. To get a rental would cost me $150 a month out of pocket (for a recall that is supposed to cost me nothing). I asked if I could drive the van even though it had a crack in the axle. He said yes. So I left. In the beginning of January I had called a different dealership on an ad for an oil change. It turns out that I knew the person I was talking to. He informed me that his dealership was putting people in rentals at no cost to them until the axle for the Windstar was fixed. He said he would look into it for me. Two hours later I got a call from Dave Smith Ford asking if I was driving my van and to come in and get a rental immediately because of the crack in the axle. When I went in the lady in service said "oh, are you the one driving on a cracked axle", and I replied "oh, are you the one's who let me drive off the lot without singing a waiver". So I left my van with a full tank of gas on their lot. On Wednesday February 16th at 4:30pm there was a call to my house that my son took. It was the service people from Dave Smith Ford telling him that my Windstar is done and that I had to pick it up by 5pm today or tomorrow. If I don't I will start getting charged for the rental. Nobody called to say the axle was in, or that they were working on my Windstar. What if I were out of town? Not to mention they didn't call my cell phone, which was supposed to be the primary number and is what they always called in the past. On Thursday February 17th I went to pick up my van. The cashier gave me the key and said it was parked out in front. I looked and it wasn't, so I went back in and told her it was not there. She looked towards the garage and said "oh, it must be in back, but you can't go through the garage". I told her I was not wandering their lot looking for my car, so she then offered to have someone go and get it. It took the guy 15 minutes to walk through the garage and bring my van to the front. I got in my van and the gas was empty, the little gas pump light was on. When I brought my van in, in January it had a full tank of gas. I remember this because the day I got the call to come and get a rental I had just filled up my tank, and the first thing I said at the rental place was "I better get a car with a full tank of gas because I just filled up my van and now it is going to sit on a lot for who knows how long". I went right inside and told the guy that I had a full tank of gas when I brought the car in. He replied "I don't think our guys drove it long enough to use a tank of gas". I told him that it was full and he could call the rental place because that is the fist thing I said to them when I went to get a rental, that it costs $60 to fill up my van and I was not leaving until it was back that way. He said we had to go talk to someone else. We went to the office next to his, he asked a gentleman to come out, and then looked at me to tell the story. I told guy number two that it cost's $60 to fill up my van and when I dropped it off it had a full tank of gas and I was not leaving until the tank was full. He looked at the first guy questioning, and the first guy said "the van has been sitting on the lot since October". I replied "oh, no it was not. I'm the one you let walk of the lot without signing a waiver and drove my van with a cracked axle for 4 months before you would give me a rental car". With that being said guy number two decided to have my van filled up. That took another 15 minutes. My van was running rough, so when I got home I decided to check my fluids. My oil and radiator fluids were almost empty, window washer fluid gone, and both brake and power steering fluids were low. I check my fluids monthly, and I know they were not like that when I dropped it off.

Prima, I am sorry for this bad experience. The recall we have for certain Windstar minivans is putting many people in a tough spot. There are several options available to those who have one of the affected Windstars, so we have been trying to either swap these people into newer vehicles, or Ford has offered to buy them back outright. If I'm not mistaken, we did try to work with you here a few months ago. I am sure this was not your fault, and we somehow got our signals crossed on our end when you were here the first time. Some of the Windstars out there do not have the axle problem. Since your car was in such good condition, and you indicated that you did not want to talk about trading, the Service Advisor thought it would be ok to release the van at that point in time. It sounds like you got your van back with the full tank of gas. The other issues are not related to the recall. We would not have touched those items, so I'm not sure why it would be low on fluids. Terrible. First i got a used car through them and it was fine...for about 2 months...it started idleing very high when in park, like it sounded like i was revving my engine. So when i went to go get my oil changed and tire alignment (which you need to for the power train warranty) i told them to listen and if there was anything wrong let me know. "no thats normal when it gets colder out". okay...well thankfully two days later my tire started making a slapping noise so we took it to a different mechanic who said they didn't tighten the lug nuts on one of my tires. I want to personally thank them for being so careless about something so serious. I couldve gotten in a accident if my tire flew off. They also checked out the high idle...and no its NOT normal, the part that controls the idle was cracked and i needed a new one. Now its december, i was driving my car down the street and my car stopped working. guess what it was? my transmission, and no it can't be fixed i need a new one. Thanks dave smith ford. and i don't want someone to write me back with an apology. just don't.

I checked with all of our Service Advisors, as well as our Service Manager, and nobody recalls a vehicle complaint such as the one you are describing. I ran a search of your name through our system and could not get a match. Is the vehicle registered to someone else? If, in fact, your vehicle does need a new transmission, it should be covered under your powertrain warranty at no cost to you.
