Essex house has a unique style to it, and at atmosphere that just screams artsy fun. They have a very friendly and professional staff that is there to help you out with all of your needs. They also have a great caf in the hotel as well as a health spa for all of your pampering needs.
If not for the view, I would have been exteremly disappointed in our hotel choice. We had the perfect view of Central Park, but our room was very small. The shower was without a doubt, the best shower I've had in a hotel, but the room felt very cramped; barely enough room for the bed and other furniture. When the closet doors were open, you couldn't walk between them and the bed. Our washcloths were never replaced after the first day, but the rest of the room was very clean. I think next time, we'll try a different park front hotel.
