i tried to bring my son and neice yesterday and i dont think its there anymore. i havent been there since i was a child but i wanted my son to enjoy it. it's either closed now or i got really lost. but i'm guessing its closed now. the number no longer works too. overall i do love that place. had fun there!
This place is great for kids and grown ups. My little sister had a birthday party here, we reserved a room for about 15 people. The kids were treated very special by the staff, and they were paid a lot of attention to. The kids had a blast. This place has everything to keep them entertained. There are millions of different arcades, a merry go round, bumper cars, laser tag and much more.
This place is pretty fun for grown ups too. They have a lof of older people on the arcade floor.
Basically it is okay there is not much to do there so you finish and get bored pretty quickly i havent been there in a while but i do remember it wasnt soo much fun and not that great. They have been open for a long time but they need to add some more things and make it more interesting for kids and big kids.
I went to Funtime USA Amusement Park during the summer and felt the place was too small. Decently priced for what it is but there wasnt much to do, I spent about three hours there before leaving because my friends and I finished everything there was to do at the place. Not sure if I would go back, I prefer Coney Island and other amusement parks in the new york area.
These places were wonderful about 10 years ago when the lastest video games were put out in the archade 1st. Now there are virtually no new archade games and no reason to go back. Obviously the classics like air hockey are still nice, but to me, there is virtually no desire to return to Fun Time. I much rather go to ESPN Zone in Manhattan. They, in recognition of the times, drifted away from the focus of archade games and focus on sprts skills games. Fun Time would be wise to follow in their footsteps, but until then don't waste your time and money
PROS: Fun things to do
CONS: Outdated
I used to go to this place when i was younger. They have laser tag, a bowling place, a ride that spins you around, air hockey, batting cages, and a whole lot of arcades. I think this place is being closed down soon but I hope not. Oh and I almost forgot they have bumper cars which I used to love very much. Great for birthday parties which costs about 70 dollars for 10 kids and then like 10 dollars for each additional one.
This is a wonderful place for the kids. Fun Time USA even hosts birthday parties. The place is huge. Its entirely indoors which is great because you can go in any weather. There is laser tag and indoor rides like the Tornado. There is also arcade games on the second level. It is quite enjoyable for the whole family. Though its pretty hectic since a lot of children are running around. Wonderful place. Its definitely better than Coney Island.
Good for children to run around, slide around, climb on. You name it they have it. It's entertaining for kids but I reccomend you only take a small group of kids. Its a BIG place. Enjoy.
PROS: Lots to do
CONS: big space so take an amount of kids you can independently manage
The first indication of how horrible this place is should be the metal detectors at the front doors. Then you walk inside and children and teenagers are running amok with absolutely no supervision. The rides are super loud because it's all inside. We went there for a birthday party and it was so loud that we couldn't hear our party's name announced. We almost missed the mediocre pizza. I will never take my kids there again. If I want to take them to an amusement park, I'll wait for a nice day and go to Nelly Bly or Coney Island. If it's bad weather, we'll stick to going to the movies.
This is a big, indoor amusement park, featuring rides, games, an arts and crafts room, a food court, and several small rooms with cafeteria-style tables for parties. It gets very crowded here, it is VERY LOUD, and it's kind of chaotic. Kids of all ages like it, because there really is a lot to do, and it's a good place to go when the weather isn't so great. However, everyone else has that same idea, and it will be jam-packed on a really cold or rainy day. As a parent, I kind of get stressed out when I go here, because of all the noise, crowds, and chaos. I'm always afraid that one of my children will get lost here, because teenagers will often push past you or through you, breaking your child's grasp from yours. Manners seem to be left elsewhere, I guess, because the teens certainly don't have them. I would recommend this place to people who have a lot of patience and tolerance for noisy crowds.
PROS: lots of things to entertain kids of all ages
CONS: very loud, very crowded, very chaotic
