American Family Fitness

This gym does have a lot of good equipment, and it is conveniently located in an area you can plan your day around. However, it is just not clean at all. They could do so much better and it would change the whole feel of the place. Every vent in the walls and ceiling is covered with dust and Cobb webs. The women's bathrooms and showers are very unkept. The showers have mold growing everywhere. There is a pile of dust 1/2" thick under the lockers. Around the machines they are not good at making the staff and customers clean the base of the machines. The TVs in front of the machines look like someone sneezed on them. Just a few of the items they could easily change with some good consistent cleaning. I also have noticed the smell of the place is often unbearable, bad ventilation, I think. You can get a good work out in , but wash as soon as you get out of the place.

Their staff is horrible. Two weeks before I signed up, I INJURED myself and provided proof to their management. Even with proof, I ask their management if I could cancel my membership because I couldn't exercise and they refused repeatedly until I ended up disputing the credit card charge. Their owner is *nowhere* to be found, and I was even told that contacting him was "not going to happen". Go to another gym if you can. Spare yourself the headache of their idiot staff and management.

I have visited this place 3 times. Every time there was one particular man that felt the need to treat customers horribly. I have since found that his name is Ray Wilson. Because of him, I would never join there. He treats both the customers and employees with complete disrespect and contempt. I will happily spend a little extra money at a pricier establishment in return for being treated as a customer should be.

I have relocated a few times and lived in different towns, American Family fitness is the best gym I have been to and it is the one thing I miss about staying in Vestal.

The place is clean, it has a wide range of machines and exercise equipment. You will not get a better gym at this price.

went for a free pass and loved it and want to join. they have a complete area for just women or coed ,also a sauna,showers and even sun tanning .it`s great.

This is the best fitness center in the area. They have all the equipment you could possibly need. The building is clean and is located in a very convenient spot to access. The staff is also very kind and makes sure things are kept clean. The price is very competitive to other fitness centers as well.

This gym has everthing! They are the best price around, by far. They have every piece of equipment that you would want. They have a friendly, knowlegible staff, who are willing to help you out anytime you need it. The facility is clean too, which is important. I dont think I could go anywhere else, I love it at American Family Fitness!! The sauna rocks!!!!
