It was a gift I gave to my mom. She absolutely loved her experience there it was awesome. She felt like a princess for the day, and that made me happy. Now its time for me to make an appointment :)

I have been wanting to try LaStone massage for quite some time now and when I saw that Feline Day Spa offered it, I made an appointment immediately. At first I was hesitant because the desk staff didn't seem familiar with the treatment, but once I met Lucina and got on her table, my doubts drifted away and so did I. She is very knowledgeable of this particular type of massage as well as the stones, and she helped me stay focused on what was happening. I will definitely be booking this treatment again and recommend that everyone try it.

A very cozy spa boutique where the staff is wonderful. Helena, the esthetician who took care of me was great. I highly recommend the salon, it feels like a homy neighborhood hotel to escape to.

NOTE TO THE OWNER: If my dermatologist hadn't recommended this spa I would have walked out. The air ventilation system has to be turned on or updated - it smelled like I was inside a steamroom smelling nail polish remover. Also, perhaps you could advise your staff to discuss facial problems as a mini consultation B4 the facial. I was so relaxed that I did not pay attention to comments! Massage - I could have done without, but it's extra right? I paid for facial, not back neck, chest massage, hand circulation treatment, sample take home packets etc... Overall I rate staff 5/5, results of products 6/5 and ambiance 4/5.

Went to the spa yesterday to have a treatment..Alex was excellent! The people at the front desk couldn't have been nicer...I have seen in past reviews that the people here can be rude, but in my past visits I felt they were really tring to make some changes...On with the story.. I was checking out...One of the spa workers came up next to me at the front desk...I thought it was my technician Alex..I went to hand her a tip...(Please keep in mind that throughout the treatment I did not have my glasses on...so therefore couldnt see so well)
She said in a very rude voice I am not Alex...I said, Im sorry,perhaps you look like her...the spa worker replies, I hope not! in a very rude manner...there was nothing but awkward silence from the front desk people and the client on the other side of me...She was so unpleasant and I was so embarrased...it left such a bad taste in my mouth...I would never be this unkind to a stranger, much less a client..This is why I wrote the review...I decided not to let it go this time...this woman ruined what was a very lovely break for me....I will never go back...Too bad, because I live in the neighborhood...And.....why was this woman so derogatory towards a fellow worker??? It was a very awkward moment with no sound except crickets, because everyone was shocked she was so rude....I would have expected the front desk people to say something, however I think they were as stunned by I was by how nasty this woman was...Too bad and bye bye

This is a fabulous, high end boutique spa. The service is wonderful and the manis/pedis are great. The new pedicure chairs are to-die-for.... sometimes I want to go just for the chair! My mom had a fantastic massage, but I've only ever had nail services. It's comfortable and calm... a great escape on the Upper West Side.

Really nice group of people. great facial I got from joanna, lovely lady.
Owner on phone so accomdating. Makes you feel good to see some people still care and believe in customer service and making a regular out of you . My friends have gone here for years. Well done place. Hear strong massage is by Jung?
Will be back. Very nice sotheys facial.....then right after that,check out the fairway for some organic foods:):))

The 60 dollar bill for the bikini was was not worth it. I also ended up with streaks of wax on my leg, which was hard to get off.

Me and my friend decided spontaneous to go to the spa. We had an appointment 3 hours later. We decided on the early summer special: facial, massage and manicure.
The facial was the worst. The lady first told me that I have acne ... witch I know. She kept on asking me what kind of products I use and everything I said was not good enough for her. She gave me the feeling that I don't take care of myself.
The worst was, that she kept on telling me almost the whole hour, that my skin will get worst when I turn 30.
After such a treatment I felt mentally worse than before.
Yes, I do have problems with my skin. I watch what I eat and I just use special products but giving me the feeling I don't take care of myself and picturing my future with pimples all over my face was not really relaxing.
If I want to talk to someone I go to a hair salon. But when I get a facial, and the lady is working on my face, than how could we have a conversation? Your hands are in my face. I hardly can speak. I am there to relax. Not to listen to your story.
Afterwards the massage was really good. The only thing was the music. But hey, some people like it some not.
The manicure was O.K. I just had the feeling that they want us out. So they rushed.

What I also don't liked was the smell in the locker room. It was clean! but the smell of this -I don't even think it was a air refreshener- was just not good. I still can remember it. I also don't liked that you have to wait in your bathrobe (you are almost without cloth underneath) next to the front desk. But this is a logistic problem.

Anyway, I am not going back, because there are a lot more out there to explore. (might be worst might be better) And I hope I will find a spa where you have a peaceful facial.

I've read many positive reviews of Feline Salon Spa here on Citysearch, so when Spa Week came up, I decided to take a chance on Feline. I've only been to a spa once before and therefore don't have much of a baseline for comparison. I also used this as an opportunity to shop around for my go-to day spa without spending a ton of money. I figured if a Spa Week client was treated well, a regular patron would be treated even better.

Leanne was my aesthetician and even though I'm not used to being rubbed by strangers, she didn't make me feel like a dork. She also immediately understood (without my having to tell her) that I didn't want to chat. The only time I felt uncomfortable was during the extraction part of my facial but in the end, it was worth it; for the first time in years, I'm blackhead-free! After my body scrub, I felt like I'd molted- the skin that was revealed after the scrub is so soft!

The areas I saw were very clean, though I was a bit disturbed to see that their flip-flops are used by multiple wearers. Who knows if the person before me had a foot fungus?

Overall, I really enjoyed my treatments at Feline and am definitely planning to go back. The worst part about the experience was that it too chilly and rainy for me to show off my well-scrubbed and glowing self!

I received a gc at my baby shower and began using the services months after my daughter was born. The massage I had from one of the gentleman was deep and strong but he seemed to be an auto... ie told him I wanted certain areas worked on but they did not get any more attention than others.
The facial from Denise (?) was very good. No pushing products either.
And the reflexology pedicure I had from a woman with long nails was horrible because her nails were so long she couldn't even apply pressure properly. I should have asked for someone else when I saw that it wasn't working out. I think this spa asks its clients to review here so it tends to skew the results imo since the regulars will all say they like it. Overall, a good place to have on the uws.

I have been to Feline several times for deep tissue massages by Jang... she is incredible and super sweet and personable. I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. The bread, water, juice and strawberries afterwards are a nice treat. Thanks to Jang and Feline for a great experience every time.

I was offered a gift of a half-day beauty at this wonderful spa, and was simply delighted at how professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly the entire staff was to me and the other clientele. My experience was similar to the first-class treatments I have experienced in Europe. This is a perfect destination for both large and small treatments, such as manicure/pedicure and facials.

I've been going to Feline since I moved to the area 1 1/2 years ago. I go every 6 weeks for a Brazilian bikini wax. I have never had a bad experience. They always squeeze me in last minute if I haven't made an appointment. When you get there, there's always coffee and water and clean restrooms. Also, the waxing never hurts! My last visit I was waxed by Sia. She used this organic wax called nufree finpil. It didn't hurt at all, even in the most sensitive areas and I wasn't red after at all. It was actually a really relaxing experience, which is unusual for a wax, that's for sure. I also once got a massage there. It was reasonably priced, not rushed, and I felt great afterward. I recommend Feline to all of my friends for waxing and massages and any other spa needs.

I had such a pleasant experience at Feline. I am always nervous about getting waxes done, but before I knew it the wax was over! No pain, I couldn't believe it! If you are planning to get a wax done, I highly recommend Sia Manis. She makes you feel very comfortable and at home, and also uses the Nufree Nudesse Finipil wax, which is unlike any other wax I've tried in that it leaves the skin smooth with no sticky feeling, and it is pain-free. The staff is incredibly friendly and you truly feel pampered!

Feline Day Spa is the best spa that I have been to in Manhattan. I have been getting facials from Ala for over three years. The service is always exceptional, and I always feel like I am the most important client that day. The atmosphere in the spa is relaxing, and I have never felt rushed by anyone. They also never try to push products on me and give me samples first. I refuse to go anywhere else!

I had a pedicure here once before years ago, and forgot what an exceptional job these ladies did, until recently when I went back! First off, this spa provides a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. you feel miles away from the city. Secondly, the location is great! From the soothing foot massage, to the lotions and scrubs, my pedi got me lots of compliments. Most importantly, I love it.

My friends and I first went to Feline about two years ago and I have made it my regular spa. There is no need to change...Feline Day Spa has all the services a spa can offer at competing prices. The ladies are nice and listen to your requests. I love the green tea they offer at the reception. Going to Feline is always a pleasure and I recoommend this spa for a first time spa goer. No pressure, everything is simple and the service is great.

I've been coming to Feline's for my bikini waxing for over a year. Though this procedure can hardly be pleasant, I appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the specialists who perform it.

I had a massage once and it was magnificent.

I also loved their manicure and pedicure.

Feline's location couldn't be better for me.

I like the atmosphere of the place, because it is friendly and unpretentious.

I went to Feline for the half day of beauty package- the whole thing was great from beginning to end. The manicure and pedicure were one of the best I have received. The staff were all friendly. I will definitely go back. Everything was also reasonably priced.

Last month I went in and I had a skin bella facial with Martha! It was the best experience I have ever had. My skin has never been so incredibly smooth and soft! Everyone was complimenting me! In all honesty this is my favorite spa in all of NYC. I think the girls are so fun and funny. But when it comes time for tretment they are receptive to your desires and needs. I have been going only a short time, but I think I will be comeing here forever!

The salon itself is lovely. I don't like to talk during my massages, and the male masseuse I had did not pick up on this. Amidst his chatting he told me to "relax" about 20 times in an hour. If I were a relaxed person, I wouldn't need deep tissue massages. If you want to avoid the constant "Relax!" reprimand and/or the distracting chatter, I'd specify this at the beginning.

The brazilians cost a bit more here, but the ambience and quality of work is worth the price. And the waxing process is a lot less painful than the type used by most other waxing places. Feline is just what a day spa should be - relaxing, clean, and tranquil.

After a pedicure and manicure one day, and a haircut another, I was highly impressed by the ambiance and service at Feline Spa. It's a bit costlier than other places, but well worth it.

Grace did the nail work attentively, and both times the experience was extremely relaxing and upbeat. I plan to go back soon.

Just came back from a massage and it really was good. The locker room is super small, which is why I was asked to undress in the treatment room, not a big deal. The massage was exactly what I needed and my muscles are super relaxed. I'm definitely going back.

I'll tell you, I have been getting waxed at the same place forever but when I went to Feline and they had that "Blue Wax" Im telling you my wax job lasted for over 3 months (they usually last 1-1 1/2 months) I think their products are great and I have been going back ever since.
Also, I got a French Pedicure...went to Jamaica for 5 days and I tell you the white lines in the pedi lasted over a month...That in itself is remarkable.

Very tranquil, quiet spa that gives unbelievable manicures and pedicures. The staff is experienced and patient and use the highest quality product. There is always a hot cup of coffee or tea or a bottle of mineral water available. Plus, it is imaculate. I travel across town for there services. More expensive than the average manicure but it lasts two weeks!

After waxing regularly for over a year, I decided to venture out to the best rated spa in the upper west side, Feline Day Spa, to see what all the hype was about. The environment was cozy, and the staff was pleasant. After we got started, I noticed that the wax was being left on much longer than normal and that it was hardening before being removed. I asked about it, and Helena informed me about the type of waxing they use and how in hardening, brazilian waxing is MUCH less painful--very true. A little pricier than my last spa, but overall worth the money.

I visited the Feline Day Spa on a weekday afternoon in late April. I was scheduled for an early morning flight, the next day, for a week vacation in Florida. My daughter gave me a gift certificate for Spa Finders for my birthday. After researching this day spa online, I booked an appointment for a manicure and pedicure with reflexology. True to their advertisement, this spa visit was absolutely relaxing; the environment was serene, clean, and tranquil. I added on an additional service, the waxing ,after my manicure and pedicure. All staff were, professional, polite, helpful and courteous. There was no pressure to buy their products or add other services. Additionally, I have sensitive skin as well as allergies that make me cautious about where and how the waxing is done. I must say, this is the first time that I left a salon/spa without redness or any sign of irritation on the waxed area. The manicure was fabulous. It last ed almost a week without touch up ( I was at the beach and in the water for a good part of vacation). The pedicure with flexology was the best I have ever experienced. It was a great way to start my vacation, an effective stress buster.
I have been to other day spas in NYC, this one is at the top of my list now. The hardest part about that afternoon was leaving the salon. The experience was blissful. Will I return? Yes. Will I recommend Feline Spa to my friends and family? Absolutely. When I return, I plan to sample other services in the future and to give give certificates to friends and family for special occasions or when they visit from out of town. A hint to my husband and children, put a gift certificate for Feline on my wish list for the holidays.

After a customized facial at Feline, I went ahead and bought a 6-treatment package - I like it this much!
Leanne, the esthetician who works with me, is highly professional and very helpful. For me, the best part is that it's never a general, "suitable-for-every-skin-type" treatment, but one that answers my face's specific needs.

I've also given gift certificates to facials to a couple of friends - everyone seems to enjoy it a lot :)

Swedish massage was very nice as well, giving me just the right balance of "tough love" and relaxation.

This is an all-around lovely and inviting spa, but it is the best place I've found for waxing. The wax and the technique used makes the Brazilian much less painful, and it's quicker, too. Plus, this is the one place I could find that offers a la carte leg waxing -- meaning if you don't need your whole thigh waxed, but only the inner thigh, you don't have to pay for the entire thigh. Fantastic! A great service for women!

Hidden behind rustic upper-west-side architecture, is this bright, clean, sweet, comfortable spa with an affordable menu of pampering services, a super friendly and professional staff, and (based on my experience) an envigorating massage. It was really... EXACTLY what I needed. I just disappeared into the warmth of one of their private rooms, into the rising smell of lavendar, and recovered at the end of an hour feeling that each of my muscles had been awakened, gently, happily.
Highly recommended.

This cute cozy little spa tucked into the heart of the Upper West Side, is intriguing, with reasonable prices and a comfortable atmosphere...except the front reception.
When one enters any store/ in this case Spa. It's always the first initial greeting that sets the tone for your experience, and predetermines whether you will purchase, and can very easily sway you to either really stop and take a look and consider buying... or if you are ignored and treated rudely, you simply smile, walk out, and call all your girlfriends to tell them how you were ignored and they along with you will now,and should boycott buying anything from that particular store.
This is the case with Feline.
The Front Desk is down and out RUDE. Totally Unaccommodating, hard to understand, and down right rude. Where are these girls mothers? Did they ever learn manners? Apparently not.
The services and the professionals who deliver are fantastically sweet and professional. I had a 1 hour facial and eye brow wax. But when you walk into this cute little bubble of estrogen, don't expect to be smiled at, or politely welcomed to the world of relaxation... no, that comes later. Expect to be talked down to, rude, and ordered at... So if you can walk in with a tough skin and let it roll, once your professional massage therapist or manicurist appear or facialist appear, you'll feel like it's the sunshine coming out after a dark rain shower. It is those professionals, who will really make you feel at home and be treated like the princess you really are. Overall, the spa is great services... great product selection and relaxing once you make it past the front facade. And oh just bear in mind once you have relaxed and enjoyed yourself, you have to face them again when you leave... to pay your bill where they snap at you like you are doing them a favor by handing over your hard earned money, so your one hour of bliss is ruined by a sudden thrust into reality.

I was looking for a really good salon to go (switching from going to Bliss...way too over-rated, way too expensive!) so i checked out Feline, rated top 4 for facials and it was right in my neighborhood, as a plus. I checked it out and the experience was just as wonderful as I had expected. The service was very attentative from the moment that I made an appt to being treated for a facial. Dorota is the person who gave me an amazing facial and was very honest about what I needed to get and never forced any products on me (a practice way too common in salons like Bliss). I am coming back and doing all my beauty services there like waxing, mani and pedi : )

P.S. I have now gone back and done a second facial for acne (look for Alexandra!!!) and I have done brazilian waxing and they have been both top top notch! I swear, the brazilian wax technique is amazing (fast, noooo pain!!!) and they use a very different type of wax that doesn't stick to your skin. I've done braz. wax in Brazil and Feline's is the salon that has come the closest to providing as excellent of an experience as it is to get it in the land of brazilian waxes!

I am booking a spa "event" for a friend and I for her birthday celebration. After reading the reviews (good and bad) and the review comment backs, I have to say that Feline Spa has been taken off my list of potential places to drop a decent amount of money. The sheer tone of the comment backs from the 'owner' is a HUGE turn off. It is up to us the reader to decide what we think is legit and what isn't - this is one of the reasons for reviews. If you cannot handle the negative criticism from your customers, you're in the wrong business; you need to roll with the punches sometimes. After reading the the comment back's, had I have gone to Feline, I would have been extremely uncomfortable fessing up to any service that I found unsatisfactory, if this is your demeanor (tone) online - I can only imagine what it is like to encounter it in person. I think at this point I'd rather take my friend and my money to a horrible "hunk-o-mania" club then to chance the doom of Feline.

***THINKING ABOUT GOING HERE? READ MY REVIEW FIRST!!***

I was given a gift card by my husband to this spa and boy, I don't know who feels more taken. Him for buying the gift card, or me for getting lousy service from start to finish. Well not 100% lousy. The nails weren't too bad but I could have gotten the same nail treatment at other places for around $20.

The woman who did my facial was too busy talking to the other workers the whole time. I might have had a total of 15 minutes of actual time with her. The rest of the time she left me in the room not letting me know what was going on. When she did work on my face she pressed so hard it left my face bruised the following day.

The guy who did my massage was TOO ROUGH on my skin. I had to ask several times to ease up but he did not listen. He even left me with a lot of oil or some type of waxy stuff in my hair. I had dinner reservations after my spa treatments but had to cancel them due to the fact that I was too tense and needed to go home to remove all the oil/wax that was in my hair.

When it came time to leave they even tried to charge me for services that were included in the gift package.
I mentioned after the service that this was the worst experience I've ever had in a spa. The girl behind the counter said to me "Sorry, we've been in business for many years. You must have never been to a real spa" She then just walked away from the counter and left me alone assuming I would leave. I asked what type of reply that was and she replied from the other side of the room "We're done, your service is over, you can leave and have a good day"

I've been to many spas here in the city. This will be one that I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO.

Do yourself a favor. Go take a look at the place before you plan on dropping your money there. You can smell the snooty attitudes in the air as soon as you walk in the door.

A surprise of a salon on the UWS - Feline Spa is not for cats, it's for adults who want to step out of the rush and bustle of 21st century NY into a gracious reception area where you will be assigned a hair colorist, a masseuse, etc., who will remember your name and treat you with personal attention and space. A rarity these days- spacious, soothing waiting area, coffee and tea and water on tap, private treatment rooms so all of Broadway doesn't have to see you with goop in your hair or on your face. A treat! If loud indistinguishable "house music" and trainees bumping into you and each other in the aisles while you get moved from one "station" to another are not for you, this is the place to be.

After the facialist I had been using for years retired I was at a loss - I must have tried every facialist in NYC... finally I found Lucyna at Feline. There is no one like her. As for massages, Chantal is utterly amazing. Feline is a perfect spa - It is very personal and intimate, unlike many of the factory-like spas around the city, and loyal customers build lasting relationships with their masseuses and aestheticians. My friends and I are loyal Feline customer, and we even celebrated one of our bachelorette parties with a spa day. The staff was amazingly accomodating and it couldn't have been better. I cannot recommend Feline highly enough.

Never before have I been so let down by citysearch reviews. I'm starting to question if these reviews are made by the people who work there because this was by far the worst spa I've gone to while I've lived in New York.

I just came back and boy, what a disappointment . Why is it that there is no seperate waiting room between you and the people who come in off the street. It's highly inappropriate to be sitting in an oversized robe where people can see you exposed.

I could go on forever about the terrible service but there isn't enough room to type.

This is how a day spa should be! I went here after years at nail salons for massages and they really made a world of difference. I was calm and collected within minutes. It really is an amazing experience. The owner was very sweet and really took the time to make me feel that I was special. I will most likely never go anywhere but Feline.

My girl dragged me for my first back wax, I fought her every inch of the way. I expected 40 Year Old Virgin yelling and screaming. We told the woman at the desk it was my first time, that I was pretty nervous. She said trust me, Lucina will be gentle. I wasnt sold. Lucina led me to a powder blue room with soft music. She said to relax and brought me some water with lemon, it felt nice for sure. The first few pulls hurt, but nothing like I expected. Before I knew it she was finished. She applied some soothing lotion, told me how to care for it the first few days and I was on my way. It was so easy. Now my back is smooth as silk. Im definitely coming back in 2 months. I may even go for a facial, with my girl!

My girlfriend and her mother were the ones who used their gift cards from Feline day spa. You can read my girlfriend's review on here by username eah****

Trust me. We have gone to other spas since and they have all told us about the people who have come into their spa because the people at FELINE DAY SPA were very rough on them.

If my review gets erased, I will be sure to write another one.

Let me start off by saying that I've never dealt with a place this bad. There is constant confusion between the workers and their clients seems to be the norm there.

If you are using a gift card, be sure that you will get the worst service imaginable. They have your money and you will be treated like yesterdays news there.

If you try to complain about your service, expect the owner to laugh at you in your face and tell you that "nobody complains about their spa and there are NO REFUNDS"

NEVER AGAIN!!

Okay, Feline is the best Spa I've come across. And I've been to my fair share in New York, London and Philadelphia. The best! It doesn't have the bells and whistles that you'll find at NYC mini chains like Bliss or even Oasis (like dried fruit trays and lemon water in the waiting room) but who really cares about those details when it comes down to it? It's about the SERVICES. Lucyna gives the BEST facial! She is tireless in her work, and is so methodical in her applications. She caters your facial to your specific skin, and has never pushed products on me. I've been going to her for the past 6 months or so, and I am hooked! My skin looks glowing and refreshed. She is great at extraction. It's also very relaxing. For others who complain about getting a mask put on for 5-10 minutes: HELLO! When have you every had a facial where this didn't happen? They apply the mask, then let it sink in. That is standard among all facials I've ever had. If it bothers you, speak up and ask her to chat with you while the mask penetrates or something. Now on to the massages: Olaf is fantastic for a strong yet relaxing massage. So strong, and not chatty. Just perfect. And yesterday, I had my first massage with Sam. I have to say. THE BEST MASSAGE I'VE EVER HAD. But a word to the weak: this is not a typical relaxing massage. Sam GETS IN THERE. You feel the pain! (He's VERY strong!) At first I was thinking, "This is crazy! He's digging SO hard and it hurts So bad!" But then my muscles started to ease through the pain. Plus, he kept asking if it was too intense. And now? My body has NEVER FELT BETTER!!! I'm a 27 yr old prior athlete and current runner with some aches and tension. I've never been worked out like this before in a massage. I mean, it was absolutely amazing. I feel light and loose. My joints don't ache. Again, it's not a relaxing-let's-doze-off massage. Sam means BUSINESS! So if you're someone who can handle the extremely deep, sometimes painful massage, he's the one for you!!

I just had the worst experience at this spa other than the fantastic manicure and pedicure by IVAN.... I went for the mini day of beauty which included pedi and mani, facial and a massage... the facial was the biggest rip off of my life... she made me sit under the steam for 20 minutes, did 2 minutes of extractions and put a mask on my face... that's it. I get facials at other spas and have never paid $100 and get nothing in return. The massage was slightly better but still mediocre.... Cerianly not what I expected, it was a big waste of money. I felt like I was robbed...

Oh My God...saying this was the WORST SPA/ MASSAGE experience in my life is putting it lightly. This place is a TOTAL RIP OFF. Me and my friend just left ASTONISHED and SHOCKED asking each other what in the world just happened. Plus We DID NOT get the same treatment/experience (Let me ADD BOTH were BAD) yet we chose the same massage and time limits. Normally City search is very accurate for things i looked at, but only looking at the stars for Feline this time was a BIG MISTAKE because after my experience, I KNOW all the good reviews for Feline are FAKE . When first walking into the building, the cashier will point to a closet a few feet away from her for you to put your jacket into(I should of left my jacket on because there was a sign basically saying they are not responsible for you stuff)plus to the left is the waiting area and YES you will feel the cold draft from the front door opening and closing. There are NO REAL LOCKER ROOM, NO PRIVATE LOCKERS for you to put your stuff into,NO CHANGING AHEAD OF TIME, NO SEPERATE MALE LOUNGE for male customers or your BF/husband to wait in and NO LOUNGE for YOU to relax in and wait till the massause comes (which was late by the way) Just a cold waiting room that you share with both genders. My 1 hr massage was probably 50 mins TOPS! Including my wait time, walk to the massage room, changing out of my clothes/shoes, getting settled in the table and waiting for the women to walk back into the room) The Massage ROOM was COLD?the ambiance HORRIBLE, along with a noisy radiator . The only place I had to leave all my belongings was one dirty chair in the same room. Don?t bother saying you had less than 1hr or stating your real experience, that will gets you a rude..."It's suppose to be 55mins" (the website says otherwise btw) The staff are rude and give dirty looks...NO you DO NOT GET the FULL TIME you paid for. I visited this spa over the holidays as a result of all the positive reviews on Citysearch and it was the worst spa experience I've ever had. The Women?s locker room had dirty robes and flip flops piled in front of the sauna. The woman told us to change and abruptly left the room, never once communicating to us where the clean robes and flip flops were and where to go when we were changed. We expected to be shown to a relaxation room of some sort which is standard for every spa that we?ve visited in NYC, but instead, we were directed to sit down in the front lobby next to the main door of the spa that opens out into the street. The lobby was freezing because the door was constantly being opened and closed and we waited for a solid 15 minutes before anyone even approached us to let us know when are services would begin. The facial was the worst I have ever received. The facialist left the room four times during my service, didn?t ask me for a history of my skin and never once told me what she was doing or why. From the start I told the woman that I had very sensitive skin, yet during the extraction process of the facial, she applied a great deal of force to my cheek and nose area that left me with broken capillaries, bruising and two large blisters on my face. The massage I received was nothing special. The massage therapist never asked which type of massage I wanted, where I would like him to concentrate or how the pressure was during the massage. The room was freezing and toward the end of the massage, he got paraffin in my hair which was difficult to remove once I was home. When we went to check out, the woman at the counter tried to charge me extra for the Oxyblast during the facial, though it was listed as a part of the spa package. Overall, my experience was horrible. The communication by the staff members was terrible and the services are not tailored to your needs. Citysearch has never steered me wrong before, but this time, it was a gigantic miss.

Much to my disappointment, my regular day spa did not have any open availability on my birthday. Desperately wanting to treat myself to a day of relaxation, I ventured onto citysearch as the critics have never steered me wrong. I was pleased to come across Feline?s profile with promises of friendly staff and awarding winning services. Driving from the boroughs, I did not anticipate the heavy holiday traffic and found myself running late. I contacted Feline to inform them of my delay and the receptionist appeared to be okay. Apparently she wasn?t okay as I received a cold and uninviting ?welcome? as I entered and was quickly rushed into the locker room. Hastily undressing, the modest accommodations were the least of my concern as I was ?greeted? with the same unimpressive professionalism from the masseuse. The service went from bad to worse when the masseuse decided to hold conversation for a majority of the massage. I found it disturbing and completely unrelaxing. I was thoroughly annoyed when I was charged for the entire massage, despite only receiving half of the session. While I understand my tardiness contributed to the delay, I would have been more understanding had the receptionist used a sense of tact and decorum and showed some sign that she had an idea of what the term ?customer service? actually meant. She did not even wait for me to leave a tip as she quickly dismissed herself before I could even put the pen down. The only comfort I experienced in this establishment was the friendly gal who did my facial. She was very sweet and accommodating and if weren?t for the poor treatment I received before AND after the services, I would have considered returning to Feline for the Microderm services strictly on her recommendation. Always a faithful reader on citysearch, I have never written a review until now. I will gladly wait several months for my regular spa (or any spa for that matter) before stepping foot in Feline ever again.

I went to Feline twice for pedicures and waxing. The nail technicians/estheticians are meticulous and very professional. I could tell they really pay attention to detail. I have been looking for a good massage on the UWS since moving here 6 months ago. Feline was the third place I tried and I would say the massage was very average. The spa itself is in a nice building just off of Broadway. The waiting area is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked with a diverse array of face and body products. The desk staff was kind and efficient. However, two things struck me as very odd about my massage: First, I wasn't asked to complete any kind of "clienf info" form, which spas normally use to gather information about your health, spa experience, etc. Secondly, my massage therapist did not ask me ANY questions prior to my treatment--no "what kind of pressure do you like", no "do you have any especially tight areas you'd like me to work on", etc. In addition, her "Swedish" massage was more akin to those you receive in a nail salon--lots of poking and pushing, very hard & fast strokes, etc...It was not what I would call a typical Swedish massage, which normally features gentler pressure, and long & focused strokes. That said, for $95, it is the best "below market" massage I've had and I did leave feeling relaxed.

It's easy to get an appointment at the last minute, which I like.
The atmosphere is relaxing though not super posh. Waxing services are no-nonsense, they get the job done. I haven't tried any of the other services though the menu is quite extensive.

I went here to get an underarm and eyebrow waxing. I have been waxing forever and this was probably one of my worst experiences. One underarm went fine, but on the second one she ripped off some skin and even after she put on the soothing oil I had to ice it once I got home. I couldnt wear anything sleeveless for a few days because it was so red. When she did my eyebrows she didnt put anything on them after, in hindsight I should have said something then... When I got home I had to ice them too and the next morning when I woke up the skin was bumpy and still slightly red.

I have had leg and bikini waxing at Feline and have always been impressed with the quality of the experience. Whenever I call it is easy to get an appointment, which I appreciate! Additionally, they use very high quality wax and you don't leave feeling sticky. The atmosphere is also very relaxing. I continue to go back and have recommend it to many friends.

I just came back from Feline's and I gotta say, WOW. I went there for a mini facial and Alex took care of me. She was so friendly and wonderful. This was the first time that I had a facialist who actually told me the truth and not try to push their products nor make me spend extra on a service that I really didnt need. She gave me tips on how to keep my skin healthy and glowing and was very knowledgeable. I left out of the spa with a brand new face with very little redness. I definately recommend Alex for any facial and will definately be coming back to Feline's for their wonderful mani/pedi's I keep hearing great things about. Thank you Alex :):)

I am new to NYC and heard about Feline from a friend. I went to get a manicure for a wedding and have never had a better experience! The staff was great and my manicure looked amazing not to mention lasted for well over a week with no chips. I would highly recommend Feline!!

I booked an exfoliating body treatment here based on the reviews. I received a great treatment from Helena. I hadn't booked anything else, but decided to have another treatment while i was there, and she was able to accomodate my request. I really liked Helena, and I would definitely go back again and ask for her.

The only thing that I wasn't thrilled about (and more so when I got my bill) was that there was no way to use the first time visitor coupon without having an actual print out of the coupon. I phoned in advance to check if I could provide them with the number from the coupon, and was told that I had to have the piece of paper. When I explained that I don't have a printer at home, the answer was "sorry, you have to bring the paper". That seemed kind of odd to me, especially in this day and age, but I went ahead with my appointment anyhow. When it came time to pay ($173 for two treatments and a product) I realized that I should have figured out a way to print, it would have been worth it. Too bad it's not a "one time only" coupon, not limited to first visit.

Again, Helena was great, I felt very comfortable with her, and will see her again.

I love this spa for everything, but particularly for waxing! I have been a regular here for over a year and highly recommend Lucyna for all waxing services, she is the only one in the city that I trust for virtually painless and perfect bikini waxes. I live in midtown east and do not hesitate to travel to the upper west side for this spa haven. The service is always efficient and flawless and everyone is very friendly. I just can't wait to try more of their services!

I had a manicure done here, hoping it would stay on for 4-5 days during my vacation, however it lasted for over 2 wks without chipping! I loved the color (deep pink) and got comments everywhere about how polished my look was! Love Feline, they do a great job! Also, the lady who did my mani was sweet and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you need a manicure to last and look professional!

I've tried lots of spas on the upper west side and am always disappointed with the amount I have to pay for the quality of service. Feline is by far the best spa in this neighborhood. Great deep tissue massages, waxing and mani pedi's!

If you value your skin, you may want to avoid this place. I went in for the first time a few days ago and had a brazilian wax. I usually go to another spa but I thought I'd give Feline a try since it's so close to where I live. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. To start with the waxer was not friendly at all, no small talk or anything, and I had to help her out the whole time, holding my skin in different positions. The nature of the procedure was bearable as at least she worked really fast. I seemed to be fine until I got home, when I noticed my skin kept getting more and more red and then started peeling. I went back to the spa a few days later to tell them what happened and asked for a refund but they refused. I was told I was being nasty and all they could do was have me come back to meet with the waxer later to have her apply a cooling lotion. I had already scheduled an appointment with my dermatologist, so I declined. I've been to a lot of places for waxes, including cheap hair salons and this place was the worst by far! Beware!

I love this spa! It's conveniently located for Upper West Siders and it means I never have to go downtown for a spa appt again. The facials there are fantastic and listen to their recommendations for your skin type. I used to have pretty bad surface acne and a bit of rosacea, but since getting a regular facial at Feline, both have cleared up. And the ladies who work there could not be nicer to speak to. I always used to feel uncomfortable at spas, but they are very understanding of when you want to chat and when you'd prefer just to sit and enjoy the experience. I also have gotten bikini waxing there, which was as painless as possible and looked great. All in all, I have been nothing but pleased with my Feline experience.

While not the most pampering or modest treatment I've ever had, the almond lavender body scrub with massage did the job and left my skin soft and smooth. This was my first time at this spa, which I mainly chose because of the location since I live in upper Manhattan and don't have time to go to the east side or downtown for spa treatments unless I'm making a day of it. The amenities were pretty basic, and the service was not for the modest, but the service was professional and friendly. I was also impressed by the wide variety of products available for purchase.

I had a wedding to go to and I went here for a mani/pedi and french tips. The Pedicure was amazing!! The girl who did it was just amazing! But then it came time for my manicure and french tips. I was told that they use silk insteasd of tips but that my nails were to short for this (I am a waitress so I have to keep them short). I was told thata woman who was going to do them with tips came highly recommended. I have gotten tips done about 20-25 times before this so I assumed that I was in for a real treat. WRONG! The lady was very nice and talkative. I noticed that she wasn't doing my nails corretly, but I thought maybe she just does it a different way (I thought she would fix certain things towards the end). I paid before she was finished so I wouldn't mess them up while they were try'n to dry. The total came to $184 without tip (found out later :just the nails were $119). I was shocked at the priced but paid anyway, as well as leaving a $30 tip for the two women to split. My appointment was running late so I had to rush out of there to go to work. I got to work and started looking at my nails. First of all, the tips were all different lengths, #2 the white tips (she painted it with white polish) were fatter on one side of my fingernail then the other side,#3 on my right knumb you could see a large portion of my real nail,#4she did 3 coats of gel on the right hand and only 2 coats on the left, and#5 it looked like I had gotten them done 3 weeks ago and needed to get them refilled the same day I got them done (there was a large gap where the cuticle and the gel meet). I was very upset, upset that I just spent $200 on this and it looked horrible, and upset that I was going to have to pay for them to be taken off and then pay to get them redone some place else. Long story short,"the owner" said she would give me my money back. She didn't and when i called to find out why she hung up on me. I called her back and asked why she hung up on me and she hung up on me again.

I just had a facial with Donna, and it was fantastic: she was professional, efficient, and did a good job of removing my whiteheads. My only (minor) complaint is that I felt like I was alone too much in the room -- there was a lot of quiet time. But, overall, it was great, easily the best facial that I've had in New York so far.

I have been a regular customer at Feline's Day Spa for 6 months now, and absolutely LOVE it. The staff (from the reception staff to the beauty consultants) are always friendly (not pretentious), helpful, courteous, and PROFESSIONAL.
I see Sia for ELECTROLYSIS (for the last 6 months) . . . and have been very HAPPY with the results. Sia is professional and knowledgeable - she suits my treatment according to my skin type (color, sensitivity, etc.). For e.g., when I asked for longer and more frequent sessions in my zeal to speed up the facial hair removal process, she was good about informing me that this would not be a good idea as it would irritate my skin needlessly. I trust her opinion and respect the fact that as a professional, it was the health of my skin that was more important that making more money by having me come more often. By the way, Sia's FACIALS are awesome too. .. I felt relaxed, and my skin glowed after my facial. I have also purchased many beauty products that have been recommended by Sia and other beauty consultants at the Spa.
I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS JEWEL ON THE UPPER WEST SIDE TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
P.S. I had myself decided to try Feline's after reading the reviews on this website...and and happy to add my own positive review to the rest for this Spa.

I went to Feline Day Spa a year ago and it was my first time then I have recently visited again and I don't know how to tell you this but this place is AMAZING. I had a blast the first time and the second time I went. Everyone there were very nice and kind. I enjoyed my spa retreat there and will be coming back for more by the end of this month! I was really shocked to read the review from apa1982 on 4/19. Sea, who performs the electrolysis, is nothing but the most incredible professional I have ever trusted with my face. She has never been anything but completely honest about how my face will react, and is extremely cautious in taking things slow. She has performed electrolysis on my face for the past year, and I have had amazing results. Anyone who has had electrolysis on their face knows that it's an aggressive regimen that can really iritate the skin. Sea has always gone slow enough that I'm not scared to show my face the next day. Please ignore that posting from 4/19 - the reviewer must have had a bad day and was annoyed that Sea was following her personal treatment guidelines for which I have always been so appreciative. She also performs fantastic facials!

It was not my goal to get a free manicure/pedicure and I didn't even know that the owner was able to contact me through this review. I feel bad about complaining but I was so offended by my recent poor quality manicure/pedicure with Sueve esp. since I am a returning facial customer and spent more than $400 in services and products that day. She started by giving me the wrong pedicure so I had to ask her to check my reservation. Toenails were raggedly cut and hastily filed. She almost cut my skin under the nail twice and didn't apologize. Cuticles were poorly done also. I pointed one out so she removed the polish and redid. She clumsily brushed against 3 nails and smeared them so had to redo. More cuticles had to be redone but I was so frustrated at this point that I didn't say anything since she should be the "professional". Then, to top it off, during the drying process I was totally ignored so I had to go to the reception to ask for help. They didn't even acknowledge me and kept on doing their accounting since it probably was late. I had to call their attention more than once even if I was the only one there. Only one lady was nice. I do not recommend this manicurist, however, their facials are good depending who you go to. Joanna was excellent--very qualified, professional, cordial and attentive. I only regret not specifying to give all of the tip just to her. Lynn

When it comes to pedicures I am very picky. I have a tendency to get ingrown toe nails, which if you don't know can be very painful, so I don't trust anyone to cut my toe nails.
However, the spa professionals at Feline are very good, careful, and neat. At the end I walked away with a beauitful pedicure, soft feet, and confident that I had chosen the right place for my fussy feet.
Unlike other places, that just paint a coat of polish and put some cream on your feet, the ladies at Feline take time to really make your feet look good and feel like new again.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a "real" pedicure.

The staff is so incredibly rude when making an appointment that I would never allow them to treat me! A woman with a very thick foreign accent who performs the electrolysis treatments basically called me a liar when I tried to explain how my skin reacts. I received a Honey Almond body scrub at Feline's on 4/16. This was my first time receiving a body scrub so I wasn't sure what to expect. A wonderful woman named Helena performed my body scrub, using loofah mitts and a lightly scented almond paste. She was very attentive and scrubbed my skin vigorously. At first, I thought the scrubbing would irritate my extremely sensitive skin but, surprisingly, it didn't and I was happy to see all of the dead skin sloughed off. Once I rinsed off in the shower, my skin was smooth and baby soft. Helena used a dry oil mist afterwards, which smelled like gardenias. I am not too keen on floral scents but this one wasn't too bad.

It's been about two days since I received the scrub and I still feel silky smooth. I definitely recommend the almond body scrub and look forward to coming here again before my wedding in August. Thanks Helena!

This winter my face has suffered the effects of exzema really badly. I went to Feline's for a facial and was booked with Sia. She worked wonders for my face. It's been a month and I plan on going back in the future. Now I look normal again, no more blotchy skin and no more bad dry spots. If you want a facial that is both relaxing and lasts go to Sia! I had a day of beauty at this spa. My nail services were no different then any other place and way overpriced. My massage was pretty good but not the best- I had a man and prefer a woman. What a great experience! My skin was desperately dry from the weather and Marta gave me the most amazing treatment and facial. I usually break out or feel oily when I"ve had facials in the past but its almost a week later and my skin still feels amazing!! I rarely indulge myself with treatments such as this but the results were beyond expectation so I think I'm going to have to create a budget for a regular visit.

She must be out of her mind! Feline is my favorite and only spa that I go to. The mani/pedi lasts forever and it always looks perfect! The french manicures are tres jolie! Also, the massages and facials are excellent and the employees are very polite and professional. So when someone suggests that they don?t change their towels in between waxes, they must have something wrong with them(Sorry but i have to speak the truth!). For waxing, they use TABLE PAPER, the same as in the doctor office. They also take new spatulas for each client which in other places (I?ll be nice and not point fingers at anyone) they don?t! Go and see for yourself if you don?t believe me!

Here's the run down: they do a pretty good job at waxing (but be prepared to have to "participate" in the job; i think their pedicures are not worth it.. i got one of the fancy pedicures and it was mediocre for the price - you can get much better service & treatments at some of the less "spa" places; it doesn't really have a "spa" experience in general & the rooms are actually a bit dingy (in fact, i don't think they even change the underlying towel on the table that you get waxed on between waxes; i have had very good massages there tho. if it's convenient to get to, then it's ok.. but if you;re looking for a lavish spa experience & lots of pampering.. keep looking.

I first went to Feline's with my cousin, who has been using Feline's for a number of years. She convinced me to come all the way into the city from Westchester just to have a spa day. Boy was I glad she did. Since my first beauty express day, I have returned for all my spa needs. They make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. The ambiance is very serene and soothing. I actually got my first brazillian there and have tried other places since, but have realized how different it can be from place to place. I no longer want to save time by going someplace in my own neighborhood, I am loyal to Johanna. She is the absolute best!!!

Feline is awesome. So far I've been there for a facial, a massage, and a brazillian wax. Can I just say that it was my first brazillian and I will definitely be going back for a second. I was so scared, but the woman who helped me was awesome. It was so much less uncomfortable and painful than I thought it would be. I went in thinking that it would be the worst experience of my life, and ended up walking out smiling. And she did a great job. The facial and massage I had last year when my boyfriend took me in for my brithday. When I left the spa I felt like I was glowing and sitting on a cloud. I don't remember being so relaxed. I definitely plan on returning to feline for all my spa needs : )

My friends who are addicted to brazillian waxing finally convinced me to get one and even though I was scared out of my mind and have zero tolerance to pain, I figured I would give it a try before my Florida vacation...they also said that Feline is the only place they would go. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is great...the lady who did me, Kristina, was so incredibly sweet. She made me feel very comfortable even though it hurt a lot. I thought I'd be embarrassed but I wasn't at all...I'm going back tomorrow for a seaweed wrap...so excited.

Whenever I get a facial at Feline I always come out glowing. My fiancee, who is not the most perceptive person out there, always seems to comment on how good I look after I've emerged from my facial experience (that's the goal!!). The microdermabrasion is fantastic and takes all the fatigue and dullness out of my face in just one sitting. Go a few times in a row and you're skin seems to stand up better to the stress of life. I've gone to a bunch of different people at Feline, all of whom have done a great job.

This is a great place to get quality spa treatments at a reasonable price. Overall it is a really great experience. I would definitely reccommend it!

I made an appointment for a facial here because it was close to my friend's place on the Upper West Side and I was hanging there for the weekend. It's situated in a great brownstone neighborhood. I wasn't sure what to expect but the ladies at the front desk were polite and nice. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the lady who did my facial, but I was so comfortable and relaxed during my service I fell asleep. When I woke up and looked at my face I couldn't believe it. There were NO RED MARKS on my perfectly smooth face. I looked and felt 5 years younger. I was even more surprised that when I was walking down the street random strangers were complementing me on my skin! I was glowing. This is a true story and I have told it a million times swearing by this place. It was a little expensive but well worth it. At first I felt a little guilty about spending that much when I know a place in the same neighborhood that is much less expensive. After I experienced the results I was so happy I decided to go there instead. I was so impressed I bought my friend a day at the spa for her birthday which she fullly enjoyed and loved. I hope you enjoy the same experience I did and I am definately going back even though I live across town with millions of choices of places in walking distance from my apt.

I had a facial at feline and it was just amazing! When I walked in I thought I was in a Parisian perfume shop. The place is so wonderfully decorated and I really felt like I was in a great place. My good friend Jen recommended it to me. She raved about Lucina and she was right! What a facial I had! I would recommend this place to every one. The facial products they have in the spa is a also a huge plus. They have a few great lines! Happy Facial everyone!

I first heard about the spa from someone in the neighborhood who swears by the eyebrow wax. I was sick of the cheap, quick fix, which did more damage than good. I've gone to the spa a number of times over the last few years and I am consistently pleased. Just before my wedding I treated myself to manicure/pedicure and waxing. The staff is excellent and I highly recommend.

The pedicure was not relaxing, and I ended up with a bleeding toe. They gave me 10% off the price, but I would rather have not had a cut on my toe. I didn't get much of a massage either, and the atmosphere isn't particularly nice. I wouldn't go back.

The Swedish massage was the closest experience to nirvana ever!! I highly recommend it and to top it off their staff was superb and beyond friendly. This is a great place - which some would say a neighborhood find. But make a trip just up to the UWS for a great facial or pedicure.

I walked in after a really bad week and walked out relaxed. The entire staff was friendly and accomodating when I wanted to add extras services. Great facial and pedicures.

Looking forward to going back.

It's been two days since my mani/pedi. My fingernail cuticles haven't looked this ragged in months. My toe was bleeding by the time she finished with my cuticles. It was painful for the entire next day. My nails aren't evenly filed or shaped, and I had to smooth some of the edges when the polish dried. The polish is just your average Essi, and there's not a very wide selection. It's lasting as long as the "slam bam thank you mame" manipedi's that cost about a third of the price of this one. The massage was perfunctory and I had to put up with the technician acting like some kind of divinator giving me a somewhat insulting "read" on my hands. The products were okay, but the attitude I got made them much less enjoyable. I've had much better manicures at this price point and lower. Perhaps they'll get over themselves someday.

A few friends in the neighborhood recommended I try Feline for any service, so I made an appointment for both a manicure and a pedicure. Usually during manicures, I sit at the table annoyingly watching the manicurist cut my cuticles incorrectly or polish my nails in a hurry, thus leaving me with a bad manicure. But at Feline, I was so pleased with everything. My nails were perfectly groomed--no hangnails left or streaks from nail polish. And my toes were in heaven from the relaxing and very thorough pedicure. I thanked my friends afterwards for recommending me to such a great salon. Even though NYC has everything to offer, I find it very difficult to find a good manicure and pedicure. Now I dont have to search any farther.

Here is an update: I am not going back.

First time: Really great wrap, facial, relaxing time, and great mani/pedi. (Miriam)

Second time: ridiculously unrelaxing, subpar body scrub - great mani/pedi. - and despite my repeated attempts to get the aesthetician to listen to my allergy concerns, I later discovered she botched them (as evidenced by the samples she gave me of the products they sell, which I discovered contained exactly what I did NOT want on my face!) So now my skin is Bella exfoliated, but I've developed acne.

This is OBVIOUSLY a management issue. There are some great technicians here - but they appear rushed - and rushed service leads to mistakes. Make no mistake: If a tech is rushing you, it is coming from the top down. A shame really, because despite the fact that they don't seem concerned with fixing the steam box, I might have returned.

Bottom line is that this place is great for those who don't have skin allergies and don't mind a lot of chemicals in their treatments. But let's be honest here folks - they don't need to give away those free pedicures - they actually ARE worth the money.

I did not accept or ask for a free one. I wanted to feel free to write what actually happened.

Here is the excerpt from my first post and I stand by it:
They don't have the brand new high tech massage chairs like the Koreans on 79th, they didn't have the sauna operational, and their equiment isn't exactly new - but they are clean, hygenic, attentive and hands down, if you are like me and abhor nail polish, their buff manicure is the only one to get. My nails, despite two cold baths a day for a week to escape the heat wave, are still shiney - and that is a first.

This spa was really nice and the staff was friendly. The packages offer online are a great deal. My friend an I had the mini package (mani,pedi, 1/2 hr facial & 1/2 hr massage). It was relaxing,the mani and pedi looked great, the massage was reallyyyy nice( I almost fell asleep on the table). The facial left my face feeling clean, minimal redness. I would recommend booking an appt in advance....while waiting for the treatments the phone was ringing constantly. alot of customers (we went sat morning, not too busy. The only thing I didn't like was the biege color robes. I would have preferred black( you can't see through them)other than that no complaints. definitely going back.

The customer service I experienced was wonderful. The representative new exactly what I was looking for and helped me quickly and respectfully. In addition to the customer service, the place has a nice upscale feel to it without the exorbitant prices of some other Manhattan spas. I went to places all around SOHO and some in midtown Manhattan before I decided and I definitely made a good choice. I've already made reservations for my girlfriend because I know I'll win brownie points with her for it.

I bought a package of 6 facials from Felines. I like to get extractions to clean out my pores. During a facial in Feb. the cosmetologist gave me a very, very aggressive facial that I didnt mind even though she did press down quite hard on my nose and face. I thought as long as my pores are clean I am happy. Soon after however I noticed broken capillaries of which I have never had. I then went to my Dermatologist who noticed it right away. Because it was so obvious, I had to pay $350. to get the broken capillaries removed by laser. That ended up being one very costly facial !

I have since had two more facials with another woman and have been very pleased.

Joanna did my facial and she was absolultey amazing. I also thought my pedicure and manicure were top notch -- very high quality and no chipping or peeling for some time. A friend of mine and I took our friend here for her birthday. After the first treatment (exfoliation) I was told to go into the locker room to shower that was it. My 2 friends were accompanied & were given towels, washcloths and showercaps. All I was given was a paper shower cap that got my hair wet. I felt uncomfortable was when we were waiting for our pedi/mani & had to wait in the waiting area, there were customers there who were fully dressed (men too) so we felt uncomfortable being in our robes, and whenever someone would come in we would get a rush of cold air from outside. Overall it was an ok experience, I would recommend to someone going alone, not for a group spa day.

I like Feline's. It's quiet and peaceful in there so waiting is never stressful. I've gone for the half day of beauty a couple of times and love it. Mary is the best when it comes to massages! I love Rosa's scalp treatment!!! I have healthy hair, but love to get scalp treatment done because the massage is so relaxing and makes my hair silky and beautiful. Its a little expensive, but I do get it done once every few months and highly recommend it. Rosa herself is a very nice and friendly person. I have also gotten mani-pedi here and love it. Overall, I like this place - their wraps and body scrub are great, and they have 'fresh' water bottles for their customers.
I had facial and massage done here 2 years back and wasn't too happy, so go elsewhere for those. I don't know if they have gotten better now.

I wrote a review from my past not-so-pleasant experiences here and surprisingly, the owner of the spa herself decides to call me personally. She began by sincerely apologizing for my negative experiences, stating that she takes great pride in her spa but unfortunately, she cannot keep a watch on every employee at every moment of the day. Then as compensation for my dissatisfaction, she offered two complimentary facials (any of my choosing) with any aesthetician I request. Wow!!!!!! I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly impressed by the customer service. How many day spas do you know that do that? This is definitely the first for me. So I have 2 free pending facials to use up and will update after my experiences.

I get the best pedicures I've ever had at this spa. The space is peaceful and impeccably clean. Cell phone use is kept to a minimum, which adds to the restful environment. It's expensive, but definitely worth the premium.

because of the rave review on citysearch, I went for a half day of beauty (mani, pedi, facial, massage) - which was reasonably priced. the mani and pedi was excellent. especially the pedi (3 weeks and still has a shine to the polish). the pedi lady sprayed something on my toes right after the top coat - which I believe is what keeps it so shiny. the facial and massage were average - I've had better. did not get a real calm feeling of relaxation. Would come back for a pedicure again.

love this place! It is so relaxing and tranquil. They offer great services. One of my favorites is "The Ultimate Facial" - during this facial, a massage therapist stretches, rubs and coaxes the aches and pains from your feet. I also love thier massages. Pamper yourself at this luxurious spa!

Feline's has been my "neighborhood" spa for years. Amazing facials, good massages, and good service. Have used many of the other services as well. While the treatment rooms aren't large, they are comfortable, private and completely quiet. They don't try to sell you anything you don't want, but are knowledgeable about their services and products.

The people there were really nice. The place is really nice and spacious. You are alone in every room they take you. I got the full day of beauty, the manicure and pedicure were regular, nothing special about it. The facial was amazing, I've never had a facial so good as that one. One hundred and fifty words is not enough to express how terrible the services my sister and I received at Feline Day Spa were. We were misguided as to what types of manicures and pedicures we would receive and we were so disappointed at the appearance of our hands and feet the day before my wedding that we had to go to a different salon to have them all redone. Truly an awful experience and to top it off the customer service people could care less. I would never recommend anyone visit the spa again!

I called for a glycolic peel only! I was told it was $60, but whoever took the reservation signed me up for a PEEL + FACIAL which is what was done to me and I got charged $125. While the facial and peel were worth the money, it wasn't want I signed up for and was forced to pay it anyway. When I asked about it, the same receptionist who made my appointment accused me of failing to show up for an earlier appointment when in fact I called and rescheduled. The customer service is very, very poor, in fact I feel like they ripped me off. As long as you reconfirm everything when you get there BEFORE you get anything done, it is great because the estaticians are great and they do a good job.

Have been there a few times for different treatments....pedicure, Brazilian bikini and facial. THe pedicure was good and lasted....much better than the quickie places. As for the Brazilian Bikini wax....they use this blue wax which nearly painless.....as painless as a Brazilian can be.....HIGHLY RECOMMEND for first timers!!! And the facial was excellent....left my skin glowing, not blotchy and was relaxing too!

I went with my mother to get facials and she got a mani/pedi too. I was impressed by the experience of the staff. For being a small spa right around the corner, it has everything you need. It was a very relaxing experience with an exception of one thing. One of the receptionists was completely clueless (the other was fantastic) she added up all the totals wrong and before my appt she call my cell to ask where we were (our appt wasn't for another hour) Besides this one woman (who i am sure is probably fired by now) it was great and I reccommend it for you UWSers.

I've been going to Feline for a very long time for the excellent massages, manicures, and pedicures. All the employees are curteous, professional and very skilled at what they do. The facialist actually noticed a patch of dry skin on my nose which turned out to be a potentially dangerous growth, and I would not have had it checked if not for her alertness. All in all I can say I've had great experiences here, and look forward to my visits.

I had a nice experience while having my underarm's wax. Lucia was very professional and pulled my hair through a magnifying glass. Believe me it makes a big difference in the final result. I have used Feline's in the UWS for nearly 7 years. Although I have tried out various spas and "nail" places throughout Manhattan, I find that Feline's consistently provides quality care and patient service. The staff seems to have an artistic sensibility to their work, be it a manicure / pedicure, a European facial or an eyebrow wax or electrolysis treatment. For that reason, I have returned consistently to Feline's over the years.

This was the only spa with a variety of packages - I could actually find one I wanted. Other spas always include something like a pedicure and if you simply want massage and facial or body wraps you are out of luck. Feline offers a good variety of packages. Their prices are very competitive. The location is also great, in the city but not too tough to find parking and there are quite a few good restaurants closeby.
Highly recommended.

For an end of the school year present, I was given a gift card for a 30 minute massage to help with the stress of finals. I had never heard of Feline's and ended up saving my gift card for a rainy day (after all, I go to a music conservatory- finals aren't that complex). Recently I've been having some back problems and made an appointment to have my massage. Turns out 30 minutes wasn't enough and as I was on the table I changed my appointment to a full HOUR! I enjoyed every minute of it, feel much better now and was given some helpful tips to stay healthy. I would recommend this spa to everyone, but then my new favorite place would never have room for me!

Afterward she asked me to pay but there was no, "How was your massage?", "Thank you" or any personal communication, just the payment and silence. When my 11-year-old daughter was plagued by a stubborn case of acne, she felt very self-conscious and was even made fun of at school for her troubled complexion. When I suggested Feline's, she resisted, but Donna quickly put her at ease with a 45-minute Teenage Facial designed for anxious adolescents. I have been going to Sia for three years and she gives the best wax in New York. I won't let anybody else touch my eyebrows. The spa overall has a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and is really a gem on the upper west side. It's a perfect getaway.

My husband treated me for mothers day. It was nice, but I had a bit of a cold so I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I could have. The facial part was great because of the steam in my face I could breath. I highly recommend the facials and meassages mani and pedi not so much there're always in a rush!!! I went last year for mothers day too. It was the same thing the facial part was great, but the girls at the mani pedi station rush you and make eyes at each about people there. Don't get me wrong this is not a bad review if you looking for a massage and facial then this is the spot for you, but if your looking for a mani and pedi then stop at your neighborhood joint I promise it will be more relaxing and less rushed.

Feline's offers us West Siders the same comfortable setting and full range of professional services available at many day-spas on the East Side. Nail services are excellent, reasonably priced, and of much greater quality than those available through the myriad of local nail salons. Feline offers a wide variety of spa services. The massages and bikini waxes are excellent and priced reasonably compared to other Manhattan spas. I highly recommend Feline. It's an UWS oasis!

Well, we had never been here before, and i decided to treat my wife for our one year anniversary...We stayed across Broadway at Hotel Beacon (nice room), and had an appointment for a one hour facial and hair cut on a Saturday afternoon...Upon arrival they were a little busy, but my wife was soon taken into one of the private rooms for her facial...About two hours later i returned to find her looking beautiful and her skin was radiant, with a very smooth appearance...The hair cut was very soft, feminine and stylish...Needless to say, we were both thrilled and are looking forward to our next trip to what has to be one of the best Day Spas in NYC!!!

I went to Feline for my first-ever bikini wax and it wasn't even terrible! In actuality, it was a minor discomfort. My waxer was so professional, courteous and knew exactly what she was doing. No amateurs at this spa! If you've never had one but are entertaining the idea, go for it. You'll be happy you did.

I have been coming here for years. A neighborhood spa on the upperwestside. It was the first of its kind. Clean, quiet, and relaxing. A great place for a manicure and pedicure and the only place I trust for my waxing. My feet are like new after my pedicure.

I go to this spa all the time. The staff is so polite and not snotty like other spas. I am only 25 and they never treat me like a young person. They always can squeeze me in when I need an appointment last minute. I have been to many different spas and this one is great. I have also had a few different women treat me and they have all been great. Overall it is a great environment to release your stress and unwind.

I've been a regular at Feline for several years and have never been disappointed. While I am most familiar with the wonderful facials, pain-free waxing, and first rate manicure and pedicures, I have occassionally gone "all out" and had one of the wide variety of pampering body treatments and massage. For professional service in a relaxing setting , Feline cannot be beat!

Feline is a wonoderful spa; the highly-trained staff keeps me coming back. Martha is excellent for waxing. Their pedicures will get your feet summer-ready. I highly recommend the massages as well.

I booked a 1/2 day package at Feline (facial, massage, manicure & pedicure). The facialist was great and the results lasted. My skin felt great and looked great for several days. I had never had a massage before so I have nothing to compare it to...I would have preferred something a bit firmer but it was still very, very good. The manicure and pedicure were excellent...its been 2 weeks and my nails are still chip-free. The thing that impressed me the most is that they didn't try and push a bunch of products on me.

After years of overpriced facials and dermatologists ruining my skin with over prescribing medicine, I went to Feline after reading the great reviews. Helena was honest and helped me understand what was going on with my skin. I saw results in 2 weeks and my skin has never looked better! This was the first time I listened to the products that were recommended after receiving a facial and it made all the difference in the world. I am now on a daily skin care regiman that works for me!

I recently went for a facial and was very happy with the results. The aestician was very helpful and spent time discussing the different procedures that would benefit me the most without pushing added services on. She was honest and told me I should wait until just before my wedding to get a particular service in order to see the best results. They also use great products (i.e., Dermalogica) during the facials. She recommended products without making me "break the bank" or feel like I was leaving without getting everything I needed - just the basics with some added things I could choose to get or come back for another time. Not to mention they have $55 mini facials - can't beat that!

Feline's is a treat. I've had pedicures that last for 2 months and manicures for 2 weeks and longer. Their facials are not to be missed -- I feel years younger after having one. The staff is special. I go here for my regular pedicure and keep going back after trying budget nail salons and other high-end spas, because the service is impeccable and the mani/pedi lasts much longer than any I've had. The ladies who work there are expert in the services they offer and are very courteous and attentive. Though I haven't personally used their other spa services, I am confident in recommending feline's for all your spa needs.
Their facilities are super-clean and have the latest in spa trends. Also, they are very well-priced for the neighborhood and for the upscale atmosphere.

Felines is comfortable and hygienic and the emphasis is on the treatment or service, not chi chi details, although it does provide lots of amenities (including a wonderful heated toilet seat, a locker room and showers). The staff is experienced and professional -and that includes the women at the front desk. It's relaxing to be there - as it should be, but isn't always the case at other day spas I've visited.

I have been to this spa 3 times. The first time was for a warm, heated body scrub/message that was heavenly. The other two times were for facials. They are truly facial experts...and they will take the extra time to do what is exactly needed in case time is running out. They never try to shove products in your face to buy. I got a 50 minute massage from Feline and had a good experience. Ivana, my masseuse, was much firmer than I was used to, but I really enjoyed it. I usually feel extremely tired after a massage, but this time felt both relaxed and invigorated. She did a great job balancing feel-good and more deep-tissue techniques. As for the spa itself, the receptionists were fairly friendly, the decor was nice and clean, and, for the city, the services seemed slightly cheaper for the quality than I've seen elsewhere. I wasn't a huge fan of the large room up front as a pre-massage waiting area (it would have been nice to have a separate, more dimly lit room where customers could instead relax in robes while they wait), particularly because my masseuse was running 15 minutes late. Overall, howerver, I would definitely recommend Feline.

For a waxing pro, you need look no further than Lucyna at Feline. I've been going to her for years, and she is always professional, on time, respectful and dare I say, accurate. She also gives a phenomenal facial. Beyond that, go to Ia or any of the manicure mavens - they're all great, so sweet and they do a great job. I suppose the best thing of all is the price - you'll save a small fortune compared to those high end spas that don't give you the individual attention that Feline does.

I have been going to Sia at Feline's for about many years. While initially reluctant to get my brows waxed, Sia made me feel comfortable and shaped them to look tailored to my face. She is very skilled and does not rush. I particularly like how she uses a tweezer to get the extra hairs that need attention. Sia is freindly and takes time to get to know you. I can get an appointment with her very easily.I would recommend Sia for an eyebrow wax and look forward to treating myself to other treatments at the spa!

I've been a Feline customer for almost 20 years (and I'm a spa fanatic who's been from LaCosta on the west coast to Gurney's in Montauk). Feline's has it all - the best facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. I particularly love the lavender oil used in foot reflexology and massage. Friendly atmosphere with a beautiful, newly renovated setting on West 75th Street. A "must visit" spot on New York's Upper West Side.

This is a spa I have followed through 3 location changes and watched as it became progressively more sophisticated. The personnel is very stable. I have had the same woman for my facials (Marta, she makes me zone.), Alexandra does my manicures and pedicures(she watches every change in my feet), and I get massages from Mary( she checks out my chakras so that I come out destressed). The staff is very discrete. I see celebrities all the time that go in and out unbothered. I can go anywhere, but I prefer this
lovely private mid-sized spa. They also don't rush you out.

I have been going to this spa since mid-eighties. I cant even think of going anywhere else. They are so professional, low key, on time, giving and caring. I adore getting my facials and just floating away during my time; then waking up to beautiful soft skin. Great customer service, place is very clean. It's the best!!

I was referred to Feline when my esthetician moved there from another salon. Feline has a beautiful atmosphere and a perfect location right outside the 72nd Street subway stop. They have great prices and fabulous services. I love the manicures and pedicures and also the facials. Feline is an overall great value for wonderful services in a pretty and relaxing environment.

This place is a really good deal for most services, especially their waxing. It is cheaper than at most places in the neighborhood, and they are very professional, gentle, and give you lots of personal attention. This spa is one of a kind!!! You walk in and are greeted with a smile and of course are treated like a king/queen. After checking in and being escorted to the waiting area and or changing room, (the enviornment can relax you and calm your nerves while you wait) there are often times complimentary refreshments. As far as aesthician services, they are extremely comforting and polite for those not so "open" areas and are always concerened with how the client is feeling. The massages are excellent, a great way to end or even start a day!!! Lastly, my favorite, facials. I am addicted!! I love the techniques and especially the products. I have exremely sensitive skin and have had some facials over the past few months and have felt like I had new skin after the process was over!!!! I HIGHLY reccommend this spa...

I have been benefitting from Feline's services since they existed further East on 75th St.
Over the years I have had every service imaginable from a dozen or so fantastic employees. What impresses me so much, in addition to the exquisite, personalized service I receive, is that most of the employees have worked here for a long time. It's nice to know that they value their working enviornment, and must be treated well themselves to remain at a service industry for such a length of time. She does what you want, while adding her own special genius. And she's a really nice person as well. Rosa is simply the best in New York--and doesn't that mean in the world?! Donna is also fantastic. My mother and I received gc for facial, massage, body scrub, manicure and pedicure. We both had a wonderful time. I had no problem getting an appointment and at the time that I wanted. The minute we walked in we were greeted curtiously and were not rushed at all. All the poeple there are very nice and very helpful. Eventhough they offer products to use, they are not pushy. My mother and I will definitely be going back real soon. Especially for the bodyscrub...wow!!

I went here last year to relax with my best friend right after I got engaged and all the craziness started. We both got Half a Day of Beauty which was wonderful! It started with a manicure and pedicure....and then a facial....and they saved the best for last....the most relaxing massage. The spa was very relaxing and the best part was that they didn't rush you. In between each service we had a few moments to relax before the next.... When you walk through the doors of Feline, you are instantly relaxed. The ambience is perfect. The staff is very helpful and nice. All of the facialists are very knowledgable about the products - but they are not pushed on you.

The pedicures are great! And the massages are wonderful too. I sent my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it.

It's convenient to get to and the hours are good. I highly recommend Feline for anyone in need of a good facial or who just wants to spoil themselves for an hour or so.

Found this place on citysearch, I made this appointment because of this great reviews, which are probably writen by Feline.
The actual treatment I received was fine, nothing spectacular, however, my specialist went way overboard trying to sell me products after everything was finished. She barged back into the room before I had finished dressing and cornered me for 10 minutes. You decide where to go for your facial.

I've had at least 100 facials since 1986 in seven cities, and I know a good facial when I have one. The staff includes Eastern Europeans, who go to college to learn their trade. I got a gift certificate for a massage at Feline for my birthday--what a great present! While the masseuse was not particularly talkative or communicative, I much prefer professional cool to overeager chattiness. Still I was sort of surprised not to be asked a question except once, on whether the pressure was good. A smile would've been nice. But that's ok: the Swedish/deep tissue massage was intense, intuitive, and so deeply relaxing I heard myself snore a couple times. The spa was very airy, quiet, very clean and understated-- without that air of self-importance that some of the snooty spas have. Yes they give you a free 1/2 hour facial or massage for reviewing on this site--but hey, the fact that I'm doing it means I want to go back, and on my budget, I appreciate the offer.

I have had my nails done about 100 times at what feels like about 30 different places in New YOrk City and other cities and never had such a great manicure. At Feline, they treat the process like an art form. In addition, the manicure lasts longer than the typical manicure because of the finish they apply. Your nails look wonderful and you can't wait to show people your fingertips.

This Upper West Side spa is a hidden oasis. The staff was wonderful in fitting me in at the last minute. I walked into a clean & tranquil room taking me away to serenity!!
I throughly enjoyed an hour massage and will be back for further treatments. Yes, the prices are slightly above average but well worth it.
Don't leave the spa without using the private public bathroom. The heated toilet seat is one not to be missed.

3 years ago for my b-day my husband gave me a day at the spa, I have been going back ever since. The staff is wonderful and I recommend them to all my friends. They are flexible, friendly, and provide a very pleasuable experience. Go and see for yourself!

I have been going to Feline Day spa from its beginning and have followed it to its present location. While I request the same operators for manicure, pedicure, facial and massage, I have never been disappointed when I have had to use a substitute. All the operators are skilled and pleasant.
A major advantage is knowing that you will be taken at the exact time of your appointment. In all the years that I have been going there, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes beyond my scheduled time.
Going to the same operator is not only a beauty fix, it is also
a mental fix. A good listener is definitely a plus.

I've been going to Feline for 7 years, since I moved to NY. I've had great mani/pedi's, and Lucina does a great job with Bikini Waxes. The prices are very reasonable, and it's always extremely clean and peaceful. The staff is always very professional, organized, and accomodating. It's by far the best neighborhood Spa in New York.

I have been a customer for close to 10 years, first at their old location and 5 years here. My work keeps me travelling, I have an erratic schedule, so I have no 'set' appointment with any one manicurist or massage therapist, but with feline's everyone is so good that I use them all. My favorite gift to receive is a gift certificate from feline's (hint hint if you are reading this and know me). It's a lovely oasis of calm in a busy, noisy city.

At Feline, a manicure is not just a manicure nor is an eyebrow just an eyebrow... but an artistically and patiently conceived work.

I have used Feline for nearly five years, and my sense is that the staff has been carefully chosen to consistently provide high quality service, which distinguishes it above other spas I have tried. My favorites are the electolysis / waxing and manicures / pedicures; massages are less successful. Although Feline is a bit pricy, the spa is worthwhile for its unique qualityof service.

I have been a client at Feline spa for over two years. I had waxing, manicures and pedicures. I am always happy with all the treatments and services I receive here. The manicures and pedicures last. The waxing is easy. It is easy to get appointments The staff are wonderful and make you feel very comfortable and at ease.
The spa is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing.
I have had all positive experiences here. I highly recommend this spa. to all.

I still go to Feline even though I've moved to the East Side. Great service (smells fab), and Sia is the queen of hair removal. I've had electrolysis and waxing from her for years and she's the best. Wonderful atmosphere that's soothing but not pretentious with great products you don't see very often. Well-done manicures and pedicures too. And they are even open on Sunday!

i was at feline day spa last week for several services. even though i ran really late for one of my appointments, they did not rush me. everywhere i looked there was a staff member with a smile. the spa was lovely and smelled of aromatic oils which smelled wonderful. my services where fantastic and so was the price. i wish i could spend the weekend there.

This is a very pleasant spa environment tucked onto a side street on the West Side. I had an excellent massage which combined Swedish and deep tissue with helpful advice about posture, etc. for back problems. I'd go back for a facial. Prices are pretty reasonable.

Feline Spa is an oasis on the Upper Westside. It's so nice to have a first rate spa in my own neighborhood that is relatively undiscovered by the masses. The services are pricey, but still less expensive than some of the better known hip, power spas. The aestheticians are excellent, I've always been extremely pleased with each of the treatments I've gotten. You can tell that Feline takes care to hire only the best. They are well-worth the money and always gracious.

Feline is a gem. It offers exceptional spa treatments and great service in a very low-key and relaxing atmosphere. Once inside, you would never know you are in the heart of the Upper West Side. I had a 60 minute facial on Saturday; the treatment was great. However, there was massive construction going on in the building next door - the experience was from from relaxing. I find it unacceptable that a spa that charges so much for a "relaxing" experience, fails to mention that you will be hearing drilling and hammering for the greater portion of the hour. When I politely asked how long it had been going on, the woman who gladly took my credit card for $140 did not look at me, say a word or much less apologize. So... although the facial was ok, there are far more accommodating places in NYC that I would recommend first.

I have enjoyed the consistently good pedicures here, and will continue to come back for them. I had the best waxing ever from one beautician, but also had a rushed, somewhat sloppy waxing from another person. The two massages I had were disappointing. Overall, I think the spa is a nice addition to our neighborhood services, but you should get a personal recommendation for specific beauticians to make sure you will get the best treatment.

From the moment that I entered Feline, I was treated with professionalism and courtesy.
Within a few minutes, I was ushered into a comfortable dimly lit treatment room and introduced to my esthetician, Alexandra. My appointment was for a 1 hour facial and after a very soothing shoulder and neck massage, Alexandra analyzed my skin and recommended a facial with an enzyme peel. During each step of the facial, Alexandra was meticulous, patient and made sure that I was relaxed. The facial included a cleansing scrub, enzyme peel, steam, extraction, facial mask and toner application. Alexandra made pleasant conversation but allowed me to relax in quiet as well. I left Feline with my face glowing and with a renewed sense of peace. I would recommend Feline to anyone and everyone seeking an affordable priced haven of relaxation in the midst of this busy and noisy city.

The massages I had in the month of August kept me healthy and limber for a show I was opening. My massage therapist was Jang and she is a HEALER! This talented young woman gives you a deep tissue massage that doesn't hurt but alleviates all the muscles in the body from head to toe. It's as if she breaths with you and releases your aches and pains with each breath. The staff in general are all amazing from facials to front desk. I truly appreciated the use of the steam room after a spa treatment. It opened up my lungs and again kept my already run-down body from getting sick when I really couldn't afford to be. Thank you for this quiet oasis in the vibrant upper west side.

I find I spend an unbelievable amount of time here and I am never disappointed! This is a great neighborhood spa that gives world class treatments in a sophisticated but comfortable atmosphere. This spa happens to be one of the best kept secrets in the city.

I have been going to them for over 15 years, and they are STILL so cordial and top of the line with their products and their service.

I am sooooooo grateful they are on the upper westside!!!!!

Marta is the dream girl for my facials. And Wendy has always been so lovely and understanding with appointments.

My friends and I went to Feline while we were in town for a girls only weekend. We had the Spa Express package - Manicure, Pedicure, Facial and Massage (30 min). What an amazing find this spa is!! The setting is so serene and the staff was wonderful and down-to-earth - not the typical New York snobbery I am used to. The Manicure lasted over a week (which is amazing for me) and Pedicure was the shinest and best I've ever had. The facial was wonderful and the massage was good, but it was a little intense. I like a good deep massage, but this was more on the side of hurting. My friends and I will go back to NYC just to visit Feline!!!

Just when I thought all the good spas were downtown I find that the best massage can be had on my block. I recently had one of the best massages of my life at feline and even better I could walk home and not ruin my relaxation with a subway trip. Thanks Feline!

Finding such an oasis in my neighborhood has been a pleasant surprise. The salon is beautiful, the services first rate and the prices extremely affordable. What more can you ask for? I used to think I had to go downtown to find good spa services, but Feline has proved otherwise. I love the calm atmosphere and the fact that the staffers do a great job of learning your name and making you feel at home. I highly recommend any of the body scrubs. They're fantastic!

Here's how much I love Feline's: Earlier this summer I was on holiday in Paris and I called from Charles De Galle Airport to make an appointment for a manicure and pedicure as my first stop upon arriving bacK in NY -- I could not wait! And now I am driving in from CT to go to Feline's -- I do not trust anyone but Feline's for all my beauty care -- manicures and pedicures, electrolysis, waxing, facials, massages, etc.

Feline is one of the best kept secrets in town! The services are high quality and the staff is wonderful. Helena's waxing services are the best - I've never had a messy eyebrow or painful waxing. The spa is low-key and never any pressure although they have lovely products for sale.

I look foward to going there and relaxing. Manicures and pedicures are great-staff is very pleasant and most accomodating. If I want total relaxation, I have an hour of reflexology with Donna, and come from there totally refreshed-thinking I've died and gone to heaven.It's so nice to have such a great place to go to in the neighborhood.

This West-Side Oasis is an easy escape from the City bustle. Excellent massage, nearly painless waxing, and luxurious pedicures- they've got it all. An added plus- it's a cellphone free zone, so you can chill out without the ringing in your ears.

The best waxing I have ever had has been at Feline Day Spa! I have had trouble with waxing for years (nightmares in fact!) Finally, I met Sia..... Sia, one of the aestheticians at Feline Day Spa, has become my "savior". She is professional with quick and skilled hands. This is truly what painfree waxing is and should be for everyone; before you even realize she has begun, she is done. If you are interested in waxing by all means ask for her by name!

I have never been so happy with any one hairstylist. I have been going to Feline's to get my hair done with Rosa. I ALWAYS get complimented on my hair after I see her. She's always trying something new, yet fitting for your own personal style. She makes everyone look great, not overdone. She's honest about her opinion, and gives you the best service you won't find anywhere else. The quality of her work is incomparable, and her personality just makes everthing that much better!

I have been going to Felines since 1994. Every person there is accomodating, gives the most amazing manicures and pedicures, and it is reasonably priced, as compared to a higher-end salon (and better!). I even went there to get my nails done for my wedding, as I wanted it to be PERFECT. And it was. I highly recommend to anyone on the Upper West Side, and it is certainly worth the trip from anywhere in the tri-state area.

I have been a faithful Feline client for about 15 years. I go back week after week because it's simply a pleasure to be at Feline. Skillful, engaging and polite, every staff member from the owner to the cosmeticians are top-flight. I have enjoyed a range of services from manicure to facial and massage. I thought the spa was nice but over priced for the service. I went in for a back facial and while the woman was very nice, she asked me if I wanted an enzyme treatment but didn't tell me that it was an extra $15 on top of $95 already. I didn't find out until I checked out at the end.

With such high ratings from Citysearch reviewers, I excitedly booked my appointment. Boy was I disappointed. My manicure and pedicure were average. I never had a facial or massage before, but for some reason, I expected more. I will not go back! There is better out there, I just know it!

I've been getting my eyebrows waxed here for years by Sia. She is the best. Most places just slap some wax on and rip away. She is absolutely METICULOUS. She takes into account the shape of your face and each eyebrow (my right eyebrow is a bit different than the left.) She then finishes with a tweezer. She never rushes the job either.... takes her time to get them just right.

I know, I know, it ranked in the top 10 on this site...but considering all the publicity goes to places like Bliss, I feel that Feline really is a secret. I am always treated so wonderfully when I am there, whether I'm getting a $150 treatment or just a $20 eyebrow wax, and after having been to no less than 5 different spas in 3 cities, Feline consistently does the best job on everything....I always walk out of there thinking "Holy crap, I look good!" =)

A better french pedicure I have yet to find anywhere. Not to mention the heavenly foot scrub and leg message to follow. This salon is calming, serene and a perfect haven amidst the active upper west side.Eyebrow and eyelash tinting is also done well here, the tints is always perfect for my coloring. The staff is also very friendly and cordial. The best part is that they are open on Sundays, a great time to quietly steal away from the rest of the crowd.

An afternoon at Feline is one of the most relaxing ways to spend time in New York. The treatment rooms are large, new, sparkling clean and smell great. It has a large array of indulgent treatments, but is convenient enough for regular maintenance also. Marta and Donna give great facials. I recommend them highly. Rosa gives great haircuts. I have only one criticism. Although the spa offers services for men, I wouldn't send my husband. There is no separate locker room for men and the spa works best as a girl's only escape.

My hairstylist is the best I've ever had! She always makes me look great; feel great; and always has the time and energy to fit me into her schedule. She is very talented, but never pretentious. She is down to earth and gives you the look that is right for you. Her energy, talent, and personality are just the small things that make coming to this salon, and coming to Rosa to get my hair done. She always calls me to ask "how's your hair"....
