I made an appointment for a facial here because it was close to my friend's place on the Upper West Side and I was hanging there for the weekend. It's situated in a great brownstone neighborhood. I wasn't sure what to expect but the ladies at the front desk were polite and nice. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the lady who did my facial, but I was so comfortable and relaxed during my service I fell asleep. When I woke up and looked at my face I couldn't believe it. There were NO RED MARKS on my perfectly smooth face. I looked and felt 5 years younger. I was even more surprised that when I was walking down the street random strangers were complementing me on my skin! I was glowing. This is a true story and I have told it a million times swearing by this place. It was a little expensive but well worth it. At first I felt a little guilty about spending that much when I know a place in the same neighborhood that is much less expensive. After I experienced the results I was so happy I decided to go there instead. I was so impressed I bought my friend a day at the spa for her birthday which she fullly enjoyed and loved. I hope you enjoy the same experience I did and I am definately going back even though I live across town with millions of choices of places in walking distance from my apt.

I had a facial at feline and it was just amazing! When I walked in I thought I was in a Parisian perfume shop. The place is so wonderfully decorated and I really felt like I was in a great place. My good friend Jen recommended it to me. She raved about Lucina and she was right! What a facial I had! I would recommend this place to every one. The facial products they have in the spa is a also a huge plus. They have a few great lines! Happy Facial everyone!

I first heard about the spa from someone in the neighborhood who swears by the eyebrow wax. I was sick of the cheap, quick fix, which did more damage than good. I've gone to the spa a number of times over the last few years and I am consistently pleased. Just before my wedding I treated myself to manicure/pedicure and waxing. The staff is excellent and I highly recommend.

The pedicure was not relaxing, and I ended up with a bleeding toe. They gave me 10% off the price, but I would rather have not had a cut on my toe. I didn't get much of a massage either, and the atmosphere isn't particularly nice. I wouldn't go back.

The Swedish massage was the closest experience to nirvana ever!! I highly recommend it and to top it off their staff was superb and beyond friendly. Te Feline signature facial was also an amazing experience. You truly come out of there feeling like a brand new person. It's a must ladies and gentlemen!

This is a great place - which some would say a neighborhood find. But make a trip just up to the UWS for a great facial or pedicure.

I walked in after a really bad week and walked out relaxed. The entire staff was friendly and accomodating when I wanted to add extras services. Great facial and pedicures.

Looking forward to going back.

best spa in nyc. extremely busy on weekends. worth taking a day off of work (yes a day of not working) to indulge yourself to the fullest. great service. a little pricey. overall a great experience, would go back again.

The staff was very helpful in particular in helping me feel relaxed during the experience.

It's been two days since my mani/pedi. My fingernail cuticles haven't looked this ragged in months. My toe was bleeding by the time she finished with my cuticles. It was painful for the entire next day. My nails aren't evenly filed or shaped, and I had to smooth some of the edges when the polish dried. The polish is just your average Essi, and there's not a very wide selection. It's lasting as long as the "slam bam thank you mame" manipedi's that cost about a third of the price of this one. The massage was perfunctory and I had to put up with the technician acting like some kind of divinator giving me a somewhat insulting "read" on my hands. The products were okay, but the attitude I got made them much less enjoyable. I've had much better manicures at this price point and lower. Perhaps they'll get over themselves someday.

I first heard about this spa from my daughter who had a mani/pedi and was complimented on it for weeks afterward!! Yes the pedi lasted that long. I went and got a manicure and it looks very professional and is long lasting. The staff is very friendly and the entire place is so relaxing. I felt like I was on vacation, away from it all. I will definitely go back and try other services.

A few friends in the neighborhood recommended I try Feline for any service, so I made an appointment for both a manicure and a pedicure. Usually during manicures, I sit at the table annoyingly watching the manicurist cut my cuticles incorrectly or polish my nails in a hurry, thus leaving me with a bad manicure. But at Feline, I was so pleased with everything. My nails were perfectly groomed--no hangnails left or streaks from nail polish. And my toes were in heaven from the relaxing and very thorough pedicure. I thanked my friends afterwards for recommending me to such a great salon. Even though NYC has everything to offer, I find it very difficult to find a good manicure and pedicure. Now I dont have to search any farther.

Here is an update: I am not going back.

First time: Really great wrap, facial, relaxing time, and great mani/pedi. (Miriam)

Second time: ridiculously unrelaxing, subpar body scrub - great mani/pedi. - and despite my repeated attempts to get the aesthetician to listen to my allergy concerns, I later discovered she botched them (as evidenced by the samples she gave me of the products they sell, which I discovered contained exactly what I did NOT want on my face!) So now my skin is Bella exfoliated, but I've developed acne.

This is OBVIOUSLY a management issue. There are some great technicians here - but they appear rushed - and rushed service leads to mistakes. Make no mistake: If a tech is rushing you, it is coming from the top down. A shame really, because despite the fact that they don't seem concerned with fixing the steam box, I might have returned.

Bottom line is that this place is great for those who don't have skin allergies and don't mind a lot of chemicals in their treatments. But let's be honest here folks - they don't need to give away those free pedicures - they actually ARE worth the money.

I did not accept or ask for a free one. I wanted to feel free to write what actually happened.

Here is the excerpt from my first post and I stand by it:
They don't have the brand new high tech massage chairs like the Koreans on 79th, they didn't have the sauna operational, and their equiment isn't exactly new - but they are clean, hygenic, attentive and hands down, if you are like me and abhor nail polish, their buff manicure is the only one to get. My nails, despite two cold baths a day for a week to escape the heat wave, are still shiney - and that is a first.

My friend recommended Feline Day Spa to me because I wanted a facial. However, I was hesitant because I am very picky and want to make sure the facial includes some massage. I was certainly not disappointed. The facial was fabulous, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and everything was very relaxing and clean as well. I would definitely suggest the spa to anyone looking to relax, enjoy and get pampered a bit!

I've been to many spas in nyc but Felines is by far the best! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. The space and rooms are clean, comfortable and wonderfully tranquil. Best facials and pedicures I've ever had! Great experience every time!

I went here for an express facial and bikini/leg wax. The facial was amazing - My skin looked and felt better than after full facials from other spas. The waxing was as painless as waxing can be, and no irritation afterwards! Excellent service, very comfortable enviornment.

This spa was really nice and the staff was friendly. The packages offer online are a great deal. My friend an I had the mini package (mani,pedi, 1/2 hr facial & 1/2 hr massage). It was relaxing,the mani and pedi looked great, the massage was reallyyyy nice( I almost fell asleep on the table). The facial left my face feeling clean, minimal redness. I would recommend booking an appt in advance....while waiting for the treatments the phone was ringing constantly. alot of customers (we went sat morning, not too busy. The only thing I didn't like was the biege color robes. I would have preferred black( you can't see through them)other than that no complaints. definitely going back.

The customer service I experienced was wonderful. The representative new exactly what I was looking for and helped me quickly and respectfully. In addition to the customer service, the place has a nice upscale feel to it without the exorbitant prices of some other Manhattan spas. I went to places all around SOHO and some in midtown Manhattan before I decided and I definitely made a good choice. I've already made reservations for my girlfriend because I know I'll win brownie points with her for it.

Feline day spa is awesome. I first heard about it from friends, and they absolutely raved about the service and what you get for the price. I decided to check it out for myself and absolutely loved it! From the beautiful manicures to the almond body scrub, this place offers the best in relaxation and nurturing. I bought a package of 6 facials from Felines. I like to get extractions to clean out my pores. During a facial in Feb. the cosmetologist gave me a very, very aggressive facial that I didnt mind even though she did press down quite hard on my nose and face. I thought as long as my pores are clean I am happy. Soon after however I noticed broken capillaries of which I have never had. I then went to my Dermatologist who noticed it right away. Because it was so obvious, I had to pay $350. to get the broken capillaries removed by laser. That ended up being one very costly facial !

I have since had two more facials with another woman and have been very pleased.

I very much enjoyed my half day of beauty at the Feline Day Spa. The staff are friendly, down to earth, and helpful. It is a very relaxing environment. Joanna did my facial and she was absolultey amazing. I also thought my pedicure and manicure were top notch -- very high quality and no chipping or peeling for some time. The only thing that would make the experience even more wonderful is a slightly bigger/more comfortable locker room.

A friend of mine and I took our friend here for her birthday. After the first treatment (exfoliation) I was told to go into the locker room to shower that was it. My 2 friends were accompanied & were given towels, washcloths and showercaps. All I was given was a paper shower cap that got my hair wet. I felt uncomfortable was when we were waiting for our pedi/mani & had to wait in the waiting area, there were customers there who were fully dressed (men too) so we felt uncomfortable being in our robes, and whenever someone would come in we would get a rush of cold air from outside. Overall it was an ok experience, I would recommend to someone going alone, not for a group spa day.

I like Feline's. It's quiet and peaceful in there so waiting is never stressful. I've gone for the half day of beauty a couple of times and love it. Mary is the best when it comes to massages! She has great hands. The facials are relaxing--I fell dead asleep in the middle of one. I highly recommend if you're looking for relaxation and a stress free environment, or even as a gift for a loved one.

I love Rosa's scalp treatment!!! I have healthy hair, but love to get scalp treatment done because the massage is so relaxing and makes my hair silky and beautiful. Its a little expensive, but I do get it done once every few months and highly recommend it. Rosa herself is a very nice and friendly person. I have also gotten mani-pedi here and love it. Overall, I like this place - their wraps and body scrub are great, and they have 'fresh' water bottles for their customers.
I had facial and massage done here 2 years back and wasn't too happy, so go elsewhere for those. I don't know if they have gotten better now.

I wrote a review from my past not-so-pleasant experiences here and surprisingly, the owner of the spa herself decides to call me personally. She began by sincerely apologizing for my negative experiences, stating that she takes great pride in her spa but unfortunately, she cannot keep a watch on every employee at every moment of the day. Then as compensation for my dissatisfaction, she offered two complimentary facials (any of my choosing) with any aesthetician I request. Wow!!!!!! I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly impressed by the customer service. How many day spas do you know that do that? This is definitely the first for me. So I have 2 free pending facials to use up and will update after my experiences.

This place is amazing. I first went for a bachelorette party that I was attending and have been a loyal customer since! It is quite tranquil and relaxing and the staff is very accomodating. I would refer anyone to this spa, and in fact I have sent many friends to see for themselves and they all rave! Hands down the best spa in NYC!

I get the best pedicures I've ever had at this spa. The space is peaceful and impeccably clean. Cell phone use is kept to a minimum, which adds to the restful environment. It's expensive, but definitely worth the premium.

I received a gift certificate for a pedicure and manicure at Feline and was very happy with the service. My whole experience there was very relaxing and comfortable. Even after I smudged my own nail polish while it was drying - they were happy to fix it without a fuss. I will go back for sure.

I've never written a review before but felt compelled after my visit. The facialist was in the room for about a total of 30 minutes, minimal massage, it was noisyentire time, not relaxing at all. My face does look and feel good but it has looked and felt just as great at other places in the city.

I just came back from my first Facial from FELINE and my skin is glowing.The esthetician was extremely knowledgeable. She spoke with me about my skin care routine, diet, vitamins and life style. She offered great advice and did not push me to buy products. Once she began my facial, I forgot where I was, I was so relaxed! I highly recommend this spa!

I found FELINE on Citysearch and their esteticians helped me with my acne!Now my skin is almost completly clear.This is not the type of place that rushes you like some other spas.The staff is very friendly and they don't hassle you to buy their products,but I did by Dermalogica gel that really helped my skin.I wouldnt go anywhere else!!!!!!

The gift for Christmas was day of beauty at Feline and that was The Best gift I ever got.Facial was relaxing. I was never rush and my skin looked amazing till today-2 weeks later. Massage was excellent too and mani /pedi still looks fresh like I just had it done.Everybody was very nice and make me feel speciaI. I can't wait to go back for more treatments.

My cousins and I first gave our mothers a special mothers' day package at Feline. When we came to meet them afterwards, they looked great and were all smiles. A few months later returned with a friend to treat myself. The massage and facial felt wonderful, the staff were pleasant and professional, and the price was very good compared to other spas I researched.
