Global Copy Shop is a mixed blessing. On the positive side, the owner, Nathan, is helpful, pleasant, and efficient. The staff can be rude, inefficient, and brusque--even for New York!
The computer rental is much less expensive than Kinko's on an hourly rental basis. The cost for each print out from the computer is very high! The computers are slow!
They are open on Sunday which their neighbor, UPS, is not. They are a small neighborhood operation--which I want to support.
I wish they would hire new staff.

I don't know what Kayla is talking about, I have lived in the area for 30 years, way before they opened, (I think they opened 13 years ago) I have only used them, and will only use them. Their workers are very knowledgeable and can handle any size job and quickly too, most of the bigger copy shops tell you to come back tomorrow and then mess up your work!!!! Not Global Copy, they are also very personable, and treat all the customers like they are family. As for the internet service, I use them when Im having problems with mine at home (which happens more often then not) and they are very fast, only once did I come in and the service was slow, and was explained by the workers, that Time Warner (their internet provider) was down. I have to agree, that sometimes it does take them a minute or two to help me, if needed, when Im at the computer, but only because they are helping customers at the copy counter. And the price at 20 cents is very reasonable for the Upper West Side.Anyone who is reading this, this is the place to go if you need internet, copies, UPS, FEDEX, etc.
PROS: Not just a Copy Shop, but Internet, Shipping, Packaging and many more
CONS: They close at 9pm, I wish they were 24 hours

Sometimes I have to go here because I don't have a printer at home, so I have to email documents to myself and then print them out here. The computers at this place are very slow. Often they don't work at all. And you have to pay 20 cents a minute to use them!!!! When you ask one of the people who work here to help you (when the computer doesn't work, for example), they are very friendly, but take a very long time to actually come see what the problem is (and you are paying by the minute...) and then they usually conclude that they have no idea how to help you. One of them told me that he doesn't even know how to use Microsoft Word, sorry.
